Years turn into wind

She picked up a smoke bomb, lit it, and quickly tossed it into the air as everyone watched. Instantly, a thick gray smoke, carrying a pungent odor, filled the air, obscuring the entire area. Several soldiers tried to penetrate the smoke, but couldn't help but cover their mouths and noses and retreat.

Ling Xiaotian observed from the side, a hint of satisfaction flashing in his eyes: "Yuwei, your invention is really wonderful!"

After training, Ling Xiaotian took Cheng Yuwei to a quiet mountain retreat. The two rode their horses together, savoring a rare moment of leisure. The forest was picturesque, birdsong filled the air, and sunlight filtered through the leaves, casting a gentle warmth on them.

Cheng Yuwei was stunned for a moment, then smiled slightly and responded in a low voice: "If there really comes such a day, I would be willing." There was a hint of longing in her eyes, as if she was fantasizing about a future far away from war.
