It's not too late to meet in the book

Inside the kindergarten's activity room, sunlight streams through the windows, adding a touch of warmth and vitality to this childlike space. Teacher Li stands in the center of the classroom, smiling at the children. She knows today's group activities will be a great opportunity for them to make new friends and strengthen their friendships.

"Children, today we're going to have a special craft activity," Teacher Li said in a gentle and kind voice. "We'll be divided into groups, and each group will complete a craft. Remember, teamwork is important. Everyone should help each other and work together."

Lei Xiaoyue and Lin Yuxuan's eyes sparkled with excitement. They knew this was a great opportunity to make new friends. Under Teacher Li's arrangement, they were divided into different groups and began their own handcrafting journeys.

Lei Xiaoyue's group was making a colorful windmill. She looked at the colored paper, scissors, and glue on the table, feeling a bit overwhelmed. Then, a little girl with pigtails approached. She smiled and said, "Hi, my name is Chen Xinyi. Can we make this windmill together?"

Lei Xiaoyue looked up and saw Chen Xinyi's friendly smile. Her heart was immediately filled with gratitude: "Okay, my name is Lei Xiaoyue, nice to meet you."

The two girls set to work. Chen Xinyi expertly folded and cut the colored paper, while Lei Xiaoyue helped glue and organize it. As they crafted, they chatted about their favorite stories and cartoons, quickly becoming close friends.

"Xiaoyue, do you like painting? I like it too. We can paint together in the future." Chen Xinyi said excitedly, her eyes sparkling with anticipation for the future.

Lei Xiaoyue smiled and nodded: "Okay, then we will be the painting team from now on!"

Elsewhere, Lin Yuxuan's group was building a cardboard castle. He was at a loss as to how to start, holding the cardboard. Then, a chubby little boy approached, a pair of scissors in hand. He smiled and said, "Hi, my name is Zhao Zihao. Let's build this castle together! I have a lot of ideas!"

Lin Yuxuan looked at Zhao Zihao's confident look, and hope ignited in his heart: "Okay, my name is Lin Yuxuan, nice to meet you."

The two boys got busy. Zhao Zihao designed the castle's shape and structure, while Lin Yuxuan cut and pasted the pieces. As they worked, they shared their favorite cars and toys, quickly becoming good friends.

"Yuxuan, do you like playing with cars? I like it too. We can play together in the future." Zhao Zihao said excitedly, his eyes flashing with desire for friendship.

Lin Yuxuan smiled and nodded: "Okay, then we will be the car squad from now on!"

As time went by, the children's handicrafts gradually took shape. Lei Xiaoyue and Chen Xinyi's colorful windmills spun in the sunlight, gleaming with vibrant colors; while Lin Yuxuan and Zhao Zihao's cardboard castles stood majestically on the table.

When Teacher Li announced the end of the activity, the children excitedly displayed their creations. Lei Xiaoyue and Chen Xinyi stood hand in hand in front of the windmill, their faces beaming with joy. Lin Yuxuan and Zhao Zihao stood by the castle, proudly showcasing their masterpieces.

"Children, you all did a great job today!" Teacher Li's voice was full of praise and encouragement. "Not only did you complete beautiful handicrafts, but you also made new friends. Remember, friends are our most precious treasure on our path to growth, and we must cherish every friendship."

The children nodded after hearing this. They knew that today's group activities not only taught them teamwork and handicrafts, but more importantly, they made new friends and felt the warmth and beauty of friendship.

On the way home, Lei Xiaoyue, Chen Xinyi, Lin Yuxuan, and Zhao Zihao all excitedly shared their experiences of the day, discussing the fun and difficulties of handicrafts, as well as the joy and anticipation of making new friends.

"Mom, I met a new friend today. Her name is Chen Xinyi. We made a colorful windmill together." Lei Xiaoyue's voice was full of excitement and pride.

After hearing this, Wang Jing smiled and touched Lei Xiaoyue's head: "Baby, you are awesome! Making new friends is a wonderful thing. Mom is proud of you."

Su Xiaoxiao also took Lin Yuxuan's hand and asked with concern: "Yuxuan, how was your day? Did you make any new friends?"

Lin Yuxuan smiled and nodded: "Yes, Mom, I met Zhao Zihao, and we made a cardboard castle together. In the future, we will also play cars together!"

After hearing this, Su Xiaoxiao's heart was filled with relief and joy: "Yuxuan, you have grown up and learned to make friends. Mom believes that you will have a happy time in kindergarten."

The children ended the day with laughter and sharing.

"Xiaoyue, we are going to do handicrafts together tomorrow!" Chen Xinyi's voice was full of anticipation.

"Okay, Xinyi, I'll wait for you!" Lei Xiaoyue responded with a smile, her eyes flashing with longing and hope for the future.

"Yuxuan, let's play with cars together tomorrow!" Zhao Zihao said excitedly.

"No problem, Zihao, let's race together!" Lin Yuxuan nodded with a smile, his heart full of anticipation and yearning for a new day.
