It's not too late to meet in the book

The sun gently bathed every corner of the park, adding a touch of warmth to this busy day. In the children's play area, a variety of rides sparkled in the sunlight, captivating the children's attention. Renault looked in the direction of Lei Xiaoyue's finger and saw a group of children playing happily on the slide. He smiled and nodded, saying softly, "Yes, Xiaoyue, there are a lot of children playing on the slide over there. But you are too young to play now."

Lei Xiaoyue's face flickered with disappointment after hearing her father's words. But she didn't give up. She held onto her father's hand and stumbled toward the slide. Her eyes were fixed on the children playing, as if she wanted to take in their every move.

When they reached the slide, Lei Xiaoyue stopped. She stood beside it, watching the other children slide down one by one, an expression of envy on her face. Her little hand tightly grasped her father's, as if to say, "Dad, I want to play on the slide too!"

Renault felt Lei Xiaoyue's anticipation and desire. He squatted down, gently stroked Lei Xiaoyue's head, and said softly: "Xiaoyue, you are still too young now, and the slide is too high for you. Wait until you grow up, Dad will bring you to play, okay?"

"Dad, push it higher! Push it higher!" Lei Xiaoyue shouted excitedly, her voice full of joy and anticipation. Renault listened to his daughter and pushed her harder, making the swing fly higher and farther.

Next to the sandpit, Lei Xiaoyue was digging in the sand with a small shovel and bucket. Although her hands were not very flexible yet, she tried hard to imitate the other children and had a lot of fun.
