It's not too late to meet in the book

Sunlight, like fine golden particles, bathed every inch of the park, casting a warm and bright glow over this spring morning. On the lawn, tender green grass swayed gently in the breeze, like nature's softest carpet, inviting everyone who entered to run and play.

"Dad, what kind of flower is that? It's so beautiful!" Lei Xiaoyue asked excitedly, pointing to a cluster of wildflowers not far away. Although the flower was small, it bloomed brilliantly, as if showing the world its indomitable vitality.

Renault stopped, bent down, and patiently explained, "That's a dandelion, baby. Look, don't its flowers look like little suns? When the wind blows, they will turn into many little paratroopers and fly far away to settle down."

Lei Xiaoyue listened intently, her face filled with wonder. She reached out and gently touched the dandelion, as if engaging in a silent conversation with it.

Just then, a burst of cheerful dog barking broke the silence. Lei Xiaoyue looked in the direction of the sound and saw a furry puppy running happily on the grass, wagging its tail like a rattle, looking particularly happy.

"Wow, a puppy! Daddy, I want to go see the puppy!" Lei Xiaoyue's eyes lit up instantly. She broke free from Renault's hand and staggered after the puppy with her short legs.

Seeing this, Renault felt a little worried, but more of an encouragement for his daughter's courageous spirit of exploration. He followed closely behind Lei Xiaoyue, keeping a safe distance, ready to lend a hand whenever she needed it.

Lei Xiaoyue chased the puppy, her laughter ringing like a bell, echoing in every corner of the park. Her little hand nearly touched the puppy's tail, but it suddenly turned and missed. But this didn't discourage her; instead, it fueled her competitive spirit.

"Puppy, don't run! Come play with me!" Lei Xiaoyue chased and shouted, her voice full of childlike innocence and joy. Her figure danced in the sunlight, as if she were communicating with the world in its purest form.

However, while Lei Xiaoyue was concentrating on chasing the puppy, she didn't notice a small pit under her feet. Suddenly, her foot slipped, she lost her balance, and fell heavily on the grass.

"Ouch!" Lei Xiaoyue cried out in pain, tears welling up in her eyes. She covered her knees with her hands, her face full of pain and grievance.

Seeing this, Lei Nuo's heart tightened and he quickly ran forward. He squatted down, gently picked up Lei Xiaoyue, and asked gently, "Baby, are you hurt from the fall? Let Daddy take a look."

Lei Xiaoyue snuggled in Renault's arms, sobbing and saying, "Dad, my knees hurt so much..." Her tears kept falling like beads from a broken string.

Renault kissed Lei Xiaoyue's forehead distressedly and comforted her, "It's okay, baby. Daddy is here, everything will be fine. Let's sit down first and let Daddy rub your knees."

As he spoke, Renault found a clean patch of grass and asked Lei Xiaoyue to sit down. He gently rolled up Lei Xiaoyue's trouser leg and checked her knee. Fortunately, it was just a minor scrape and nothing serious.

Renault took out the disinfectant wipes he had with him and carefully disinfected Lei Xiaoyue's knee, then put on a Band-Aid. He whispered, "Okay, baby. It's taken care of now. It won't hurt so much in a while."

Lei Xiaoyue felt her father's warmth and care, and gradually stopped crying. She looked up at Lei Nuo, her eyes gleaming with gratitude and trust: "Dad, I'm not afraid as long as you're here."

Lei Nuo smiled and touched Lei Xiaoyue's head, saying, "Baby, you are the bravest. Remember, no matter what difficulties you encounter, Dad will always be by your side. Now, do we still want to continue chasing the puppy?"

Lei Xiaoyue's face lit up with determination when she heard this. She nodded and said, "Yes! I'm going to chase the puppy bravely!"

The puppy seemed to sense Lei Xiaoyue's kindness and stopped dodging in fear. It stopped, looked back at Lei Xiaoyue, and then slowly walked towards her.

As Renault watched this scene, a wave of tenderness welled up in his heart. He knew this wasn't just a simple outdoor adventure; it was a crucial experience in Lei Xiaoyue's growth. Here, she learned courage, perseverance, and a harmonious coexistence with the world.

When Lei Xiaoyue finally managed to touch the puppy's head, she smiled brighter than ever. She turned to look at Lei Nuo, her eyes gleaming with pride and satisfaction: "Dad, look! I touched the puppy!"

Renault said softly, "Baby, you're awesome! Do you know? In this world, there are many wonderful things waiting for us to discover and explore. As long as you maintain your curiosity and take every step bravely, you will gain more happiness and growth."

Lei Xiaoyue listened to her father's words and nodded, not quite understanding. But a seed of exploration had already been planted in her heart. She knew that the road ahead was still long, and she wanted to use her own two feet to measure the vastness and beauty of the world.

"Dad, can we come here to play again in the future?" Lei Xiaoyue asked reluctantly. Her little hands tightly grasped the corner of Renault's clothes, as if she was afraid that this wonderful time would suddenly disappear.

Renault smiled and nodded: "Of course, baby. As long as you want, we can come here anytime, or go to more beautiful places. Daddy will always be with you to explore this wonderful world together."
