The Rebirth of the God of Law: The Lord of the God Realm
Chapter 70: Expelling Victor
Expel Victor
On the battle-ravaged academy grounds, Carl stood like an invincible god of war, emanating an awe-inspiring aura. The battle between him and Victor had reached a fever pitch. Every clash of magic was like thunder striking the earth in fury, shaking the ruins of the academy to the point of collapse. A fierce wind howled across the battlefield, whirling dust and debris into the air, as if disturbed by the ferocity of the battle and unsure where to flee.
Carl's divine power surged like a surging river, constantly flowing from his body, transforming into fierce attacks. Every movement was filled with strength and confidence, the confidence gained from breaking through the barriers of the world. Victor, on the other hand, was in a state of disarray. His dark magic was like fragile bubbles before Carl's mighty power, shattering at the slightest touch.
"Victor, you have nowhere to escape!" Carl's voice was like a loud bell, echoing on the battlefield. Every word was like a heavy hammer, hitting Victor's heart.
Victor's face was filled with terror and despair, his once grim features now contorted with fear. Panic flickered in his eyes, and his body trembled slightly. "Hmph, Carl, don't get too cocky! I won't let you catch me!" He said as he backed away, looking for a chance to escape.
However, Carl wouldn't let him get away so easily. Carl's gaze was as sharp as a torch, staring intently at Victor. He could see through every little movement he made. "Want to run? Not so easy!" Carl shouted, waving his hands rapidly and casting a powerful sealing spell.
Mysterious runes shone around Carl, gleaming with golden light like the brightest stars in the night sky. They rapidly combined and aligned in the air, forming a vast and complex magic circle. The light emanating from the magic circle grew stronger and stronger, illuminating every corner of the academy. That light seemed to hold an ancient and sacred power, inspiring awe. As the magic circle formed, the surrounding air seemed to ignite, its temperature rising dramatically. The grass on the ground instantly turned withered and yellow under the heat, and the surrounding stones glowed slightly red, as if bearing a tremendous energy shock.
"Wow, Carl's about to unleash his ultimate! Look at that magic circle, it's like a giant golden net. Victor can't escape now!" Tom shouted excitedly. Although he was injured, his eyes were full of excitement. His words caused laughter from the surrounding teachers and students, and the tense atmosphere eased a little.
"Haha, that's right, Tom. It's just like when we catch those naughty magic elves, Victor is the biggest one!" Jerry responded with a smile, still holding the wand tightly in his hand, ready to deal with any possible changes at any time.
Victor watched the gradually forming magic circle, a deep fear welling up in his heart. He could sense the immense power within it, a force powerful enough to completely trap him. "No! I cannot be sealed!" Victor roared, attempting to disrupt the formation of the magic circle with dark magic. But his attacks, like snowflakes encountering flames, melted away instantly upon encountering the magic circle's light. Each collision between the dark forces and the golden light produced a puff of black smoke, its pungent aroma filling the air like darkness's final struggle against light.
The magic circle's light grew increasingly dazzling, ultimately forming a vast golden curtain that enveloped Victor and his men. Like a vast cage, the curtain trapped them in a corner of the academy. As the curtain descended, deep gullies were carved into the ground. The surrounding trees rustled and their branches shook violently under the powerful impact of the energy, even snapping some fragile branches and falling to the ground. Victor and his men struggled frantically within the curtain, their dark energies colliding with the curtain's divine power, creating a crackling sound like the exploding of firecrackers.
"You guys, just stay in there!" Karl said coldly, his eyes devoid of any mercy. He knew these people had brought too much trouble to the academy, and if he let them go this time, there would be endless trouble in the future.
"Karl, you can't do this to me! We used to be classmates, you can't be so heartless!" Victor began to beg for mercy, with a hint of tears in his voice, completely different from his previous arrogance.
"Classmates? Do you still remember that we were classmates? You didn't consider this friendship when you attacked the academy." Carl said angrily, "You must be punished for your actions."
Inside the light curtain, Victor's men began to panic. "Boss, what should we do? We don't want to be sealed here!" one of them cried.
"Shut up! It's all your fault, you useless piece of shit. If you weren't so useless, how could we have ended up like this!" Victor cursed angrily. He was now in a desperate situation, his heart filled with anger and helplessness.
Carl ignored their pleas and arguments, concentrating his energy to expel Victor and his men from the academy. He muttered something, and the wand in his hand radiated an even stronger light. This light connected with the light curtain, gradually squeezing out the dark forces within. At this moment, clouds began to gather in the sky, and the once clear sky turned gloomy. A faint rumble of thunder echoed from the clouds, as if adding momentum to the expulsion ceremony. Lightning flashed through the clouds, occasionally illuminating the entire academy, making the academy even more mysterious in its alternation of light and darkness.
"Everyone, help us completely eliminate these dark forces!" the dean shouted, leading the teachers in a cleansing spell. The magical light of the teachers and students converged, flowing like a bright river toward the curtain of light. Wherever the light reached, darkness receded like a tide, and the surrounding air became refreshing, as if cleansed. In the land, once lifeless and corroded by darkness, tender green shoots began to emerge from the ground. Illuminated by the magical light, they grew rapidly, demonstrating a tenacious vitality.
With everyone's combined efforts, the dark forces within the light curtain gradually weakened. Victor and his men struggled agonizingly within the curtain, their bodies seared by the divine power, causing them to scream in agony. Each scream, like darkness's final wail before light, echoed throughout the academy.
"This is what you deserve!" Lucy said angrily, her eyes full of rage as she stared at the enemy in the light curtain. She waved her wand faster, and the power of her magic became stronger.
Finally, with a dazzling flash of light, Carl successfully drove Victor and his men from the academy's grounds. The light curtain vanished, and the academy's crisis was over. The teachers and students cheered, their faces beaming with the joy of victory. The sun once again penetrated the clouds, illuminating every corner of the academy, dispelling all the gloom. Under the sunlight, the academy seemed vibrant and full of life, and the buildings damaged in the battle seemed to be revitalized.
"We won!" Jack jumped up excitedly. He and other students hugged each other to celebrate this hard-earned victory.
"Yes, thanks to Carl! He is our hero!" Lily said with a smile, tears glistening in her eyes, tears of excitement and relief.
Carl looked at the cheering teachers and students, a gratified smile on his face. He knew this victory was hard-won, the result of everyone's joint efforts. And he had also fulfilled his mission, protecting the college, protecting this place he loved.
Though severely damaged in the battle, the academy now appears even more resilient in the glory of victory. The sun shines across the land, as if cheering for the academy's rebirth. And Carl and his companions will begin a new chapter, continuing to protect the academy's peace and tranquility.
