The Rebirth of the God of Law: The Lord of the God Realm
Chapter 68 Breaking through the world’s barriers
Breaking through world barriers
Stimulated by the apocalyptic crisis at the academy, Carl felt like a lone boat in a raging storm, surrounded by endless darkness and despair. Yet, his gaze remained as steadfast as the brightest stars in the night sky. Every scream from the academy, every crumbling building, stabbed him like a sharp knife, yet this very pain became the fuel for his breakthrough.
"Carl, if you don't break through, Victor will turn us into residents of the dark world! By then, we will all become monsters with mushrooms growing on our faces!" While dodging the dark magic attacks, Tom shouted at the top of his voice in the direction where Carl was practicing, trying to ease the tense atmosphere, but his trembling voice still betrayed his inner fear.
Although the surrounding teachers and students were exhausted, their eyes were still filled with anticipation as they looked towards Carl. The dean used his magic to prop up a shaky shield to resist the onslaught of the dark forces, muttering to himself, "Carl, you are our last hope, like the magic key that can open the door to light. You must not let me down!"
At this moment, Carl was like an explorer searching for an exit from a dark abyss. Suddenly, his soul was struck by lightning, and he reached the mysterious state of mind described in ancient texts. In that ethereal state, he seemed to be detached from the world, and the hustle and bustle of the surroundings disappeared. He was like a god standing in the clouds, overlooking all beings. All worries and fears dissipated like smoke, and everything in the world became crystal clear to him.
"Haha, I feel like a super magician now, but I need a little more!" Carl muttered to himself. He began to mobilize the magic within him. The magic surged like a surging river, roaring through his meridians. He wanted to push his magic to its limit. The magic gathered in him, swirling faster and faster. His body began to glow faintly, and the air around him rippled with the gathering magic.
"Hey, look, that guy Carl is like a big light bulb. He must be planning a big move!" Jerry shouted excitedly. Although his face was covered with sweat and dust, his eyes were shining with excitement, as if he had seen the dawn of victory.
"Yes, he can do it! We have to buy Carl more time." Lucy responded, waving her wand faster. Rays of magical light shot out from her wand, colliding with the dark power, splashing out brilliant sparks.
Carl guided the magic power along the path outlined in the ancient text, a unique, cosmic code. It was like walking a tightrope; one wrong step could lead to shattering death. Yet, his eyes held no hesitation. Every strand of magic power, like an obedient soldier, shifted its trajectory in an orderly fashion under his command.
Suddenly, a deafening roar shattered the chaos in the academy. The sound was like the thunderclap at the dawn of the universe, or the simultaneous roar of millions of dragons. With this roar, Carl successfully broke through the world barrier.
Instantly, a divine light erupted around him, dazzling like a sunburst, yet possessing a gentle warmth, like a mother's embrace. Within this light seemed to conjure up all the world's beautiful images: delicate spring flowers in full bloom, their dewdrops reflecting a myriad of light like gems showered by nature; clear summer streams, their waters gurgling and fish swimming merrily; and children playing and laughing on the green grass, their smiles brighter than the sun. Like a spark of hope, this light instantly pierced the darkness that enveloped the academy, illuminating every corner. Darkness melted before it like ice and snow meeting the blazing sun.
"Wow! Carl is like a god descending to earth. The light is so cool! I feel like my eyes are going to be blinded, but I like it!" Tom opened his mouth wide and said in amazement. His originally nervous expression was replaced by excitement and surprise. He even forgot that he was still dodging the attack of the dark power. In his eyes, there was only Carl's figure emitting a sacred light.
"He really did it! Our Carl is a miracle!" Tears welled up in the Dean's eyes as he was overcome with emotion. The wand in his hand, as if sensing its master's joy, blazed with an even brighter light. The Dean wielded his wand with increasing force, each stroke brimming with a thirst for victory. It was a power ignited by hope, like a compass that found its way again in the darkness.
Carl could clearly sense a fundamental shift in the nature of his magic. It was no longer ordinary magical energy; it had become as vast and mysterious as the universe. Every strand of it felt like a small world containing countless mysteries. He felt as if he had mastered the code of the universe, able to communicate with its most mysterious forces. At the same time, he felt a call from the divine realm. It was a wondrous feeling beyond words, like a warm home calling to him from afar, or a mysterious force gently tugging at his soul, leading him toward an unknown yet alluring world.
"Is this the power of the divine realm? It feels like I've jumped from kindergarten in the magical world to university, and to that super-secret magical university!" Carl muttered to himself, his body trembling slightly, not with fear, but with excitement and awe. He knew that he had shouldered a mission more important than ever before. He was like a warrior chosen by fate, not only to save the academy, but also to explore the secrets behind the power of the divine realm, bring new hope to the entire world, and become an eternal light in the darkness.
Under the illumination of this divine light, the teachers and students at the academy, who had been ravaged by the forces of darkness, felt their pain eased considerably. As if encountering a natural enemy, the dark forces began to retreat, and the dark aura that had lingered around them gradually dissipated, like mist dispelled by sunlight.
"Haha, Victor, you big bad, did you see that? Carl's made a breakthrough! This time, just expect us to beat you to a pulp!" Teacher Allen shouted with laughter, his laughter echoing throughout the academy, filled with confidence in victory. He waved his wand with vigorous force, each magical beam brighter, as if playing a hymn of victory.
"Let's drive these dark creatures out together!" Jack shouted excitedly, waving his wand, his eyes gleaming with fighting spirit. The other students responded, their eyes rekindled with hope, and they waved their wands more vigorously. Magical lights intertwined, forming a colorful line of defense against the darkness.
Carl stood in the light, looking at his teachers, classmates, and the academy being encroached upon by darkness. A powerful force surged within him. He knew the battle wasn't over yet. He would use the power he had gained by breaking through the barriers of this world to completely defeat Victor and protect the academy, their shared home, as if it were the most precious treasure in his heart.
Victor, standing nearby, watched Carl, radiating divine light. His expression darkened, like the dark clouds before a storm. He had initially believed victory was certain, that this feast of darkness would end in his triumph. However, Carl, at this crucial moment, broke through the world barrier, completely surprising him. He felt an unprecedented threat, the light like a sharp sword, piercing his heart. "Hmph, don't think you can defeat me like this, Carl. I won't give in so easily!" Victor gritted his teeth, tightening his grip on the dark magic item. The item's dark red glow dimmed by the divine light, but he remained prepared for a final struggle, his eyes blazing with resentment and anger.
Carl's breakthrough plunges the entire academy into a new atmosphere of tension and excitement. A new battle is about to begin, and this time, Carl will wield the power of the divine realm to fight for the fate of the academy and the world, like a mythical hero embarking on a journey to save the world. The faculty and students are eagerly anticipating that under Carl's leadership, they will completely dispel the darkness and usher in a bright future.
