Coming to the StarCraft to Be a Kindergarten Teacher: Perfect Transformation
Chapter 149 Leaving Hazel Planet
After trying the delicious food made with the smart cooking machine, I was deeply impressed by its powerful capabilities. Without hesitation, I contacted a seafood store and asked them to send me 500 kilograms of shrimp and a variety of other seafood products, all of which I would process using the smart cooking machine. I hoped to continue cooking the large shrimp into delicious shrimp; the smaller fish into dried fish for easy storage and consumption; and the shellfish into dried goods, which would be convenient for future soups and gifts.
After I detailed the cooking methods for the other seafood, the robot fed this information into its intelligent cooking system. Afterward, Wei'er and I headed to a Sakura restaurant, which she had booked and prepared a guide for. Back on Blue Star, the Sakura cuisine I'd encountered was primarily sushi, but frankly, I find it difficult to appreciate, especially raw dishes like sashimi, which I find almost inedible. However, the quality of the seafood here is undeniably exceptional. When we entered the restaurant, we were greeted by the typical Sakura decor, which didn't strike a chord with me; rather, it was a bit off-putting. Of course, this isn't prejudice on my part; I admit I don't have a favorable impression of this country.
People have come from the Blue Planet to the interstellar world and have developed there for so many years. Their history exists only in fragments of museums, but for me, a flower farmer in 2024, it's a history I can't ignore. But since this is the place Wei'er has already booked, I'll just treat it as my first try.
Comfortable. Wei'er excitedly ordered several signature dishes, looking forward to the delicious food. Before long, exquisite dishes were served one after another. One dish caught my eye. It looked like omelet rice, but it exuded a unique aroma.
I took a cautious bite. The rice grains were plump and soft, and the rich seafood flavor instantly spread in my mouth. This unique taste surprised and satisfied me, and I couldn't help but smile with satisfaction. Wei'er looked at my intoxicated expression and smiled happily too.
However, at that moment, a sudden commotion erupted from the table next to mine. I turned and saw a drunken man yelling at his companions, his voice piercing and high-pitched. The previously quiet restaurant suddenly became noisy, and many customers couldn't help but cast disapproving glances.
Wei'er was clearly affected, a hint of displeasure on her face. Realizing this might be a bit of a misstep, I decided to change the subject and ask her more about the restaurant. She told me it was quite famous locally, and that the owner was incredibly dedicated to his cuisine, pouring his heart and soul into every dish, striving for perfection. Hearing this, I felt a surge of respect for the restaurant.
Wei'er continued, "It's said that the owner traveled to many planets and tasted various cuisines before finally settling here and opening this restaurant. He incorporates his years of experience and insights into the dishes, making each one full of unique flavor."
I couldn't help but be curious about the owner, and I decided I'd definitely meet him if I had the chance. Someone so passionate and dedicated to cooking must have a wealth of life experience and insights. Perhaps a conversation with him would be a valuable learning experience. The thought brightened my mood.
Just then, the long-awaited sukiyaki finally arrived. The waiter expertly placed the ingredients into the pot one by one, then gently poured in the egg mixture. The distinctive aroma of sukiyaki immediately filled the air, making my mouth water.
I eagerly picked up a piece of beef and carefully placed it in my mouth. The tender, juicy meat and the rich sauce blended perfectly, making every bite intoxicating. Although I didn't dip it in egg yolks due to my limited tolerance for raw eggs, the flavor of this sukiyaki was satisfying enough on its own.
"How is it? Is it delicious?" Wei'er looked at me expectantly, her eyes gleaming with excitement. She seemed to care very much about my reaction, hoping to get a positive answer.
I smiled, nodded, and said, "Well, it tastes really great!" This sentence was both a compliment to the food and an acknowledgement of Wei'er's choice of this restaurant.
We then began to savor the delicious sukiyaki. As we ate, we chatted, sharing our lives, hobbies, and future dreams. In this warm atmosphere, we seemed to forget the hustle and bustle of the world around us, focusing solely on the joyful moment before us.
After eating sukiyaki and other cooked seafood for a while, the only dish we ordered that had not been served was tempura. "Why hasn't our tempura been served yet?" I couldn't help but ask.
"Don't be anxious, wait a little longer." Wei'er comforted.
At this time, the drunk's voice became louder and louder, and the whole restaurant was filled with his noise.
I looked over there irritably, and happened to meet the drunk's eyes. He actually raised his middle finger at me provocatively.
Wei Er pulled the corner of my clothes and whispered, "Ignore him, let's eat ours."
I turned my gaze back indignantly, feeling very uncomfortable.
Just then, a waiter came over with two plates of food: one was golden tempura, the other was grilled fish that exuded a fragrant aroma.
"We are sorry, sir, for bringing you a bad dining experience. Here we would like to offer you a grilled fish as an apology." After saying that, the waiter placed the grilled fish on our table, bowed, apologized again, and left.
I looked at the delicious food on the table and felt a little better, but the drunk's noise still made me unhappy.
Because the noise was getting louder, the store owner had to ask the drunk and his friends to leave the store.
"It seems our wait was worth it." Wei'er said with a smile. She gently picked up a piece of fried cake, put it into her mouth gracefully, and chewed it carefully to savor this delicacy.
I eagerly picked up a piece and took a bite. Instantly, the crispy outer layer of the fried cake exploded in my mouth with a delightful, crisp sound. The filling inside was soft, sweet, and delicate, forming a perfect contrast with the crispy outer layer. Each bite was intoxicating, like entering a world of deliciousness.
"Mmm, it's really delicious!" I raved. The unique flavor and wonderful texture made me want more. I quickly took a second bite, and a third... savoring the satisfying sensation of this delicious treat.
An hour and a half had passed since I left Sakura National Cuisine. I checked the time and decided it was time to pick up my dry goods from the Smart Cooking Shop. So, I opened my computer and placed an order on Interstellar Express, selecting the Smart Cooking Shop as the delivery address. This way, I wouldn't have to personally carry the dry goods; I could send them directly to the lucky audience, the children at the Snow Planet summer camp, Daphne, and Lotta on Ceres.
After placing my order, I immediately headed to the Interstellar Express delivery station. When I got there, I said to the staff, "Hello, I'm here to pick up the package." Then, I showed them the order number on my laptop.
The staff member carefully checked the information and then pointed to a mountain of packages nearby. "Are these all the packages you need to send?" I answered affirmatively. Looking at the packages filled with valuable information, I felt a surge of gratitude. I sincerely hope that these packages will be appreciated by everyone and become a fond memory in their lives.
We returned to the hotel to pack our bags and then headed to the interstellar station on Hazel Star. At this moment, I was incredibly excited because we were about to embark on our journey home, back to Ceres.
Arriving at the interstellar station, Wei'er and I passed through security smoothly and boarded a spaceship bound for Ceres. The interior was spacious and bright, with comfortable seats, like stepping into a cozy little world. We found our seats, sat down, fastened our seatbelts, and quietly waited for takeoff.
As the spaceship's engines started, I felt a gentle push on my back. The ship began to slowly accelerate, gradually leaving Hazel. Through the window, I gazed upon the twinkling stars and vibrant nebulae of the universe. The scene was dreamlike and evocative. At this moment, my heart grew increasingly excited, filled with anticipation and longing for the future.
