Demon Lord 3

Chapter 1031 The so-called lifelong event of ordinary people

These days I particularly want to think about things from an ordinary person's perspective, because I think that there is actually not much difference between me and ordinary people. I have not become a real immortal, nor have I become the object of everyone's admiration. I am still an ordinary person who is practicing. Even though I know that I may reach that position in the future, I think the difference is actually not very big. For ordinary people, the most important things are birth, old age, sickness and death. However, for ordinary people, the most important event in life is getting married and having children, especially for a woman. Getting married and having children may be the biggest problem that restricts her in this life. When she was young, she might hear her parents talking about it, or she might hear the elders in the family talking about it. Maybe her grandparents would talk about this issue and say that their only goal in the future is to wait until their grandson or granddaughter gets married and has children before they die. This can be regarded as four generations living under the same roof, or that they will have a good life after their grandson gets married and has children. Although these don’t really have much to do with them, they are still willing to say so. I often don’t understand, but there is no such person in my family. It may be that different positions have different understandings of the meaning of this matter. Those people have almost all received a very high education and know very advanced things, unlike those so-called ordinary people who have a very one-sided view, especially the older generation. They believe that continuing the family line is very important. When my grandparents see these things, their first reaction is that these people are too rigid and stubborn. They often change their appearance to that of a young person, believing that they are no different from young people. Many people, when they see my grandmother, think she is just a girl in her 20s. My grandmother feels that there is no need to pretend or hide these things, and she feels that this is not a bad thing. An old woman just looks older than others, not that she has an older mentality than others. What's wrong with an old woman being like this? Should you be scolded for having a young face? Of course not. My grandmother is not like this. She is not only respected by others, but also favored by others. Many young girls feel very close to my grandmother when they visit her, as if she is an older sister. Some of them call her grandma, some call her aunt, and some even call her sister directly. I don't know why they are so, but I understand that they are very happy to be called that. Later, I was often called "sister" or "auntie" by others. I felt that my relationship with my mother and grandmother suddenly became closer. No matter how old we were, no matter what we did, we were always called that. It was like we were on the same front. Then I understood that women can be called "sister" no matter how old they are. I have always been curious, why do my mother and grandmother, who are such open-minded people, find boyfriends? In fact, I already knew the answer before I asked. They told me that it was definitely not about passing on the family line, because they were not interested in these things at all. My sister, I was also curious about why she was in this family, which was completely different from what I imagined. She liked love between children, not that kind of beauty. Maybe for me, it would be better to have a career, which would make me more physically and mentally happy. For me, I might be able to devote all my energy to it, instead of doing those boring things like my sister. It might make me understand that these careers are my only future support, not that man. Finding a boyfriend is at most about pleasing each other, not the one-sided pleasing of men. Providing emotional value to each other is the biggest thing in life. If you are born unilaterally just to please others, it seems like a slave, like a vassal. It is better not to live such a life. Of course, women in the new era can use their own strength and ability to change themselves. As long as their thoughts are not solidified or stereotyped, these people can't do anything to me. So for ordinary people, the most important thing in life is to provide emotional value for themselves. If you cannot provide emotional value for yourself, then find someone to provide emotional value for you. This is the most important thing in my understanding. Whether you are a powerful practitioner or an ordinary person, this is the biggest thing in our lives.
