A surprise came in an instant. Xia Qing hurriedly pulled the luggage and walked away quickly, even jogging behind. The wheels of the suitcase were rubbing so hard that they were about to catch fire.

There were too many people so crowded together that I couldn't see anything.

Fortunately, Jiang Shao had sharp eyes and saw her at a glance. He immediately squeezed through the crowd and came to her.

Jiang Shao only had a backpack as his luggage. He fixed Xia Qing's backpack on the suitcase, and went to take the subway while holding Xia Qing's luggage in one hand and holding his hand in the other.

Beijing is a big city, and the distance didn't feel particularly far. It took at least an hour to get there, and it was almost 1 p.m. when I arrived at Beijing West Railway Station.

Jiang Shao asked her, "You haven't had lunch yet, are you hungry? I'm going to buy something over there, KFC, McDonald's, or noodles?"

After a while, Jiang Shao came back with four burgers, a serving of French fries, two pies, and two drinks.

"Things at the train station are not cheap. Eat some food first and I'll take you to eat something good when we get back to school." Each of them had a burger and a drink to fill their stomachs.

Xia Qing knew that Jiang Shao might be trying to accommodate him. They were close friends, and sometimes their consumption concepts were also used to determine whether two people were suitable for each other. Xia Qing was a student and did not have much living expenses, so it was impossible for her to pretend to be rich and keep spending on things she could not afford.

It is even more impossible for her to be so shameless as to let Jiang Shao spend money and accept it without any pressure just because they are boyfriend and girlfriend.

We should be more honest and expose the problem first.

"Every time I take the train, I prepare some food in advance, and she shows him what her father bought for her. We just make do with it, and we rarely eat at the train station."

Xia Qing picked up an Orleans chicken burger and started eating, which was considered as her agreement with Jiang Shao's words.

Jiang Shao felt that his girlfriend was finally no longer awkward, and he had nothing to worry about in the future. He wanted to give her more and better things, and he wanted to make her happy and feel blessed.

"Drink this, it's hot!" He took out the hot drink he bought for her and handed it to her. After she took it, he picked up the hamburger he wanted to eat, and the two leaned together to start eating lunch.
