Chapter 7: Teya Returns Home

What's wrong with this kid? He seems like he has lost his soul.

Zefa followed in confusion, but heard snoring coming from the living room.

When I walked into the living room, I saw Teya sitting on the ground with his upper body lying on the sofa, already fast asleep.

Seeing this, Zefa smiled, but felt a little distressed. He murmured, "You little rascal," and gently picked up Teya, put him on the bed, and let him lie down.

"Well, adventurer..."

Just as he was about to leave, Zefa heard Tia mumbling in his sleep, but he didn't hear the content clearly, so he didn't think much about it, changed his clothes, closed the door and left.

Teya slept for nearly three hours before waking up, which was considered to make up for his sleep.

Although I woke up feeling energetic, I also felt a little depressed.

He felt quite helpless because he had a long dream in which he was still practicing.

"I'm practicing even in my dreams. It seems I'm really going crazy."

Teya stretched and muttered to himself.

Dreams are like watching a movie. Sometimes, even though one knows they are dreaming, they still cannot wake up... Things in dreams often fade away with time after waking up, becoming etched memories. At this moment, Teya was lost in deep thought, drawn by this dream.

A barren land behind the mountain.

After a long separation, Teya once again set foot in this familiar wasteland. It remained deserted. Even though Zefa had told the new recruits stories of Teya's heroic deeds, they had never set foot here, training in secrecy. Perhaps they revered the place's inherent mystical aura and were reluctant to disturb it, but the true reason was no longer worth exploring.

Having completed his warm-up, Teya was ready to try out the technique he had seen in his dream. "Armor!" His Armament Haki hardened, his mind flowing, the backs of his hands warmed slightly, sensing its power. Mimicking his dream self, Teya clasped his hands together, eyes closed, and concentrated, as if gathering some kind of power. The markings on the backs of his hands shifted, transforming into patterns that spread across his palms. This time, as he clasped his hands together, Teya discovered that the patterns replicated, appearing simultaneously on both palms. "Is it actually possible?" Teya was overwhelmed with surprise at the technique that had suddenly emerged from his dream and proved so effective.

The marks on the back of his hands transformed into patterns, a manifestation of his mastery of domineering aura. Previously, Teya could only fill one hand with them, limiting his control. Now, Teya's control over his domineering aura had greatly increased, evident in both palms. Teya understood the significance of this. The difference between controlling domineering aura with one hand and with two was enormous. Furthermore, he now possessed the ability to project his surface domineering aura.

"I used to be able to control it with only one hand, but now I can use both, but the improvement is limited," Teya whispered. Although he felt some progress, it was still subtle. "Two hands, my moves..." Teya closed his eyes in thought, then suddenly realized something and leaped to his feet, his expression excited. "I've really lost my mind. Dreams don't explain things, why not imagine them myself?" Rubbing his temple, Teya looked at his hands. Since he could control the dominance of both arms simultaneously, why not give it a try?

Teya once again unleashed his Armament Haki Hardening, but this time his eyes were tightly closed, a slight perspiration on his forehead. He clenched his black fists, a white aura gradually appearing as Teya opened his eyes. "Six King Spears!" With a furious roar, Teya unleashed this attack towards the sea. A sonic boom instantly distorted the air, and shockwaves erupted from his fists. Unlike previous attacks, this one created a terrifying surge of air, shattering the calm surface. "Wow... so strong!" Teya was stunned by his own power.

Teya believed that the impact force of the Six Kings Spear was exactly the same as the principle of domineering aura emission. Just now, he relied on the control of the mark to perfectly grasp the strength of the domineering aura emission, but the Six Kings Spear was an act of inspiration. Unexpectedly, the two were so compatible, which was beyond Teya's expectation. Although he had thought of incorporating domineering aura into the moves, this was the first time it was applied in actual combat. Judging from the effect just now, the power is far beyond what it used before. Now Teya is sure that if he sees Jin again, this move will make him unable to resist. "I got an unexpected gain in my sleep." Teya couldn't help laughing, but suddenly a voice sounded behind him. "It's here, Teya."

Without turning, Teya knew it was Shaoquan. Why did he always come looking for him every time he returned? Could this man, known as Shaoquan, truly possess a dog's sense of smell? Teya now felt overly sensitive, always assuming Shaoquan was a challenge. This time, however, Teya was right; Shaoquan had indeed come to challenge him.

Having heard that Thea had accompanied Garp to the New World, the competitive Yan Dog felt he was lagging behind. Therefore, he wanted to know the true extent of Thea's strength. Ever since Thea defeated a high-ranking commander of the Beasts Pirates and gained fame, Yan Dog had harbored the desire to duel him. However, at the time, he was still on a mission at the branch, and by the time he returned, Thea had already sailed away again, missing the opportunity. Therefore, Yan Dog prepared in advance, awaiting Thea's return.

Teya felt a little irritated, but she politely replied, "What's up, Sakaski?" Shaoquan's expression remained serious, but a strange smile lingered at the corner of his mouth, making Teya uneasy. What was he planning?

"Teya! Fight me!" Shaoquan walked not far from Teya and shouted, almost scaring Teya away. Teya covered his chest and looked at Shaoquan with disgust. What was he doing? He was suddenly frightened.

"Oh my god, if you have something to say, just say it. Why are you yelling?" Shaoquan's roar did startle Teya, but he understood Shaoquan's purpose, just as he expected. It seems that Shaoquan is the real martial arts fanatic. I can only give in. "Fight me."

"Are you sick?" Burning Dog continued to pester him, making Teya irritated. Teya finally lost his patience and frowned, "Sakaski, have you ever seen anyone constantly pestering others, clamoring for a duel? Didn't Kuzan say you'd challenge him? Why don't you go find him?" "He just rode his bike out to sea."

"..."

Teya was speechless, his beautiful day ruined by Shaoquan. Judging from his expression, if he didn't agree, this matter would never end. Looking at Shaoquan, Teya felt that he deserved a beating more and more. This had happened so many times, it was time to put an end to it. Teya thought for a moment, then said to Shaoquan, "Never mind, I agree to it, but there are conditions."

A glint flickered in Shaoquan's eyes, then he frowned and asked for the terms. "It's a duel, so it's no fun without a stake. We'll have a duel, and the loser will have to walk handstand around the playground three times."

Toya's move was merely a tease, but the conditions were reasonable, just enough for exercise. Upon hearing this, Toya's expression changed slightly, and after a long pause, he nodded emphatically. "Begin," Akainu said, and immediately began to fight, but Toya stopped him in time.

"I still need to ask you one more question: do you really want to compete?"

"Stop talking nonsense and make a quick decision."

"Then let's move to another location first. This place is close to the forest. If the fire spreads, won't we burn the forest down?"

Akainu was suddenly startled. This place was indeed adjacent to the forest, and the power of the fruit might cause disaster.

So, Teya and Akainu moved to a large open space farther away. There was nothing flammable within a radius of hundreds of steps, and since they were just sparring, there shouldn't be any problem.

"Let's start the competition."

"First, please."

Seeing Teya's arrogance, Akainu's face darkened and he clenched his fists and ran towards him.

Teya knew that Akainu's physical strength had greatly increased, but without the power of the Devil Fruit, it would be difficult for him to win.

A slight smile appeared on Thea's lips.
