Chapter 44: The Shore of Lone Star Island

Teya sat down directly. This scene was better than sitting on a cold stone.

"I never imagined that one day I would be able to drink with the navy. This feeling is truly extraordinary."

Parker's words were like a sound that broke the ice, sparking conversation between the two.

Parker was a strong man, a man of considerable strength, evident in his physique. Having lived together for years, they had a rapport, a kind of telepathy.

The Wine Pirates have always been low-key since they set sail, and have never done anything that goes against the rules.

When they first arrived at an island, the people were afraid because they were flying a pirate flag. Pirates and bandits are taboos for civilians at sea.

However, they did not take it seriously. Since the day they set sail, they had been prepared to deal with it.

They came to the island only to find materials for brewing wine and taste the fine wines from all over the world. If they did not commit any crime, the islanders would accept them and would bring other things to exchange with the islanders. The islanders had never seen such pirates before, so they were not very afraid of them.

Over time, the people on the island no longer regarded them as pirates. Parker and his companions called themselves the Wine Pirates. Their funny flags and cheerful personalities had reduced the terrifying impression of pirates in the hearts of the people.

"Looking back on the past, this journey has already been far away."

Parker chuckled, raising his glass only to find it was empty.

Seeing Parker trying to find the wine barrel, Teya waved his hand helplessly and said, "It's empty. Don't look for it anymore."

"So, haha."

Teya wanted to tease Parker, asking him why he wasn't drunk, but the question turned to asking about future plans.

Upon hearing this, Parker glanced at Teya with interest and said with a smile, "Plan? As usual, we want to brew the most beautiful wine in the world!"

When Parker said this, his voice became high, and the person sleeping soundly behind him seemed to be awakened and turned over to sleep again.

Teya wanted to say that Parker and his companions were not pirates, but the adventurers he had mentioned earlier. However, as for Fisher Tiger, how could the vast ocean stop one's desire for adventure?

A group of people go to sea for their dreams, and their status and identity are secondary.

"I believe that you...will succeed."

Thea never uttered the word "adventurer." If Parker hadn't mentioned his master, he might have said it without hesitation. But now he felt that he couldn't say that.

The pirate flag carries the last wishes of the deceased and the hope of the living. If we call him an adventurer, it seems to deny the master's thoughts.

Therefore, Thea acknowledged that they were pirates, pirates that were different from others.

Every ship is a winemaker, just like the Rumbar Pirates, whose ships are all staffed with musicians. Fine wine and music are truly a coincidence.

Parker was quite surprised. Even though he talked with Thea for a long time, he didn't expect that the person who admitted his dream was actually a navy.

Not to mention the other pirate groups he encountered, even the civilians would ridicule his dreams.

How can there be the best wine in the world?

"My master once said that when making wine, one must avoid impatience and reject external distractions. One must simply focus on one's task and hold fast to the task at hand, and the wine's aroma will naturally remain."

The art of winemaking is surprisingly similar to that of being a human being. Although Tea has heard many similar words, the feeling is different when hearing it from Parker's mouth.

"Actually, before setting out to sea, I was also thinking about it. Many people had suggestions, perhaps because of my words and actions. However, I know that I can't satisfy everyone. I will note the shortcomings in the past and correct them in the future."

Teya feels deeply that although honest advice may be unpleasant to the ears, it is beneficial to action, and although frank words may be sharp, they are actually well-intentioned. The key lies in how to deal with them.

Everyone has shortcomings, and it takes a process, especially when first getting involved in something. This process is the time to accumulate experience.

Only by moving forward and treating things with care can you achieve your goal.

“When will the ship be repaired?”

"Two days is enough. The shipbuilders found materials on the island. The damage to the warship is not serious..."

"I ask about your ship."

……

A week later, on the shores of Lone Star Island.

The two ships were at anchor, waiting to depart.

"Mayor, this is a seed for brewing wine. The method has been taught. Just pay attention to the climate change."

"Alas, Lone Star, stay calm and remember the Wine Pirates. I never thought there were pirates like you in the world."

There are three groups of people on the shore: the townspeople, Parker's Wine Pirates, and the navy including Toa.

Everyone smiled and said goodbye, the scene was quite strange.

It is rare to see civilians, pirates and navy officers chatting and laughing together.

Parker looked at Teya and said gratefully, "Thank you."

"The road ahead is long, so be careful. I have yet to taste the best wine in the world."

Teya's joking words made everyone laugh.

It’s a good way to say goodbye.

As they set off, the two ships went in opposite directions and the residents on the shore waved goodbye.

"Is that so? They must..."

Smoker kept looking at Thea with confusion, and finally couldn't help asking a question, but was interrupted by Thea.

"Pirates? To be honest, I prefer to call them adventurers. Tina, what do you think?"

"Tina thinks Uncle Parker is a good man."

Smoker didn't fully understand Teya, but didn't ask any further questions.

The topic changed.

"The flower mist fish can make wine, which is beyond my expectation."

"I was surprised too."

The warship sails slowly, and no one knows what will happen in the future. But where there is wine, there must be stories.

"Tasteless."

Teya lay on the deck chair, couldn't help yawning and rubbing his eyes.

The warship sailed slowly.

I thought this trip would be more fun, but after leaving Lone Star Island, everything became dull.

Teya even felt that this was the first time he had nothing to do since going to sea.

When sailing on the sea, loneliness is always with you. Even though I have Smoker and Tina with me, I still feel that way over time. After all, I spend most of my time facing the vast ocean.

Apart from routine training and cleaning every day, Thea does not restrict them in the rest of the time and they can have fun on the ship as they please. So Smoker is sleeping soundly in the cabin at this moment, while Tina is buried in a book.

According to the current route, it will take several days to reach the next island...
