HP: Becoming a Maiden Heartthrob

Chapter 29 She Lost So Much That She Was Stupid

Despite tricking the entire academy, Nalilian could not escape the clutches of Kerston and Cedric and was taken to the library to review.

Kersten is determined to make her top of the grade, which Nallylian thinks is impossible because of Hermione.

Cedric expressed his support for Kerston.

"Don't Lillian want Mrs. and Mr. Ender to be happy about this?" he said, and it was an inducement she could not refuse.

In her original world, many Chinese children study to meet their parents' expectations.

Nalilian obediently took the bait and started to review. Occasionally, when she was studying hard, she would look up at Cedric, full of regret for why she took his bait.

When Nalilian was dizzy from reciting the lesson, Harry brought her some bad news.

Snape was about to succeed; he had persuaded Quirrell to tame the three-headed dog.

what?

Nalilian recalled that this happened a long time ago.

At that time, Harry mistook Snape for Voldemort, who forced Quirrell to fight the three-headed dog.

That should be the case this time too.

"Should we stop him?" Ron asked eagerly while Nalilian was thinking.

"No!" "No." Hermione and Harry stopped him in unison.

After saying that, Hermione looked at Harry in surprise. This guy has always loved adventure. It was he who proposed the previous night tours, but this time he actually refused first.

Harry explained, "We can't stand up to Snape, and we can't afford to lose any more points to the house."

Sure enough, Nalilian thought, he was scared.

Maybe it was her responsibility to send Norbert away that time. Even if she was deducted points and faced hostility, she didn't feel anything.

"We could go tell Headmaster Dumbledore," Hermione suggested.

After the last Mudblood incident, she trusted Headmaster Dumbledore very much and wanted to make up for her mistakes.

"No," Harry refused again, "We have no evidence, and Headmaster Dumbledore won't believe us. After all, we don't like Snape, and they will think we are framing him."

He has made up his mind not to bother with the matter anymore.

The next day was the day Harry, Hermione, and Neville were to have detention, at eleven o'clock at night.

Nalilian thinks this is unreasonable because children need enough sleep, so why not confine them during the day?

But no matter how much she complained, she couldn't change Professor McGonagall's order. Hermione and Harry had to go find Filch at 11 o'clock in the evening.

At night, Nalilian and Ron said goodbye to the three little wizards and stayed in the common room.

This was the first time the two of them were alone together, and Ron suggested playing wizard chess.

"I'm such a loser, how dare you bully me?" Nalilian accused Ron with her eyes wide open.

Ron blushed in embarrassment, "I'll teach you how to win."

As he said, he played chess much more gently, but so what? He still defeated her gently game after game.

Nalilian was stunned by her defeat.

Fortunately, Harry and the others came back, and she quickly left the chessboard and ran towards them.

But when she got closer, she found that the three children's faces were pale and they still looked frightened.

"What's wrong?" she asked. They looked even worse than the last time they were caught by Professor McGonagall in the tower.

"Unicorn," "Snape," "Centaurs..."

They throw out words intermittently but cannot connect them into a complete sentence.

Until Harry said the name - "Voldemort", which scared Ron who was walking over.

"Don't mention that name!" He was scared and angry.

"Don't worry," Narilla realized they might be in danger after hearing the name, and said in a calm tone, "Rest well first, then we'll talk. You are in the Gryffindor common room now, don't worry."

Hearing the word Gryffindor, the three children's tense bodies relaxed.

Harry quickly recovered and said, "We went to the Forbidden Forest as punishment, but we met Voldemort and witnessed him killing a unicorn. It was a centaur named Firenze who saved us, but another centaur named Bane thought I shouldn't be saved. He said that the stars or something showed that I should be defeated by Voldemort."

He talked about the situation at that time, trying to keep his tone steady, but he couldn't stop shaking, and Ron was still afraid of Voldemort's name.

"I told you not to say that name!" Ron scolded in fear.

"Then what do you want me to do?" Harry asked, his green eyes wide open and his eyelashes trembling. "Maybe I should let Snape get the Philosopher's Stone and give it to Voldemort, so that he can kill me..."

"No," Nalilian held his hand, and the boy's hand was shaking.

Harry looked at her, his eyes filled with confusion and grievance.

He needs some encouragement.

At least he needs someone to stand by his side.

Nalilian thought to herself, looked at him and said, "We are your friends, Harry, friends who are like family. We will not let you die. I swear."

As she said this, she felt her own cruelty.

She had been watching him go through the plot as a bystander, watching him suffer in order to save Ced.

Wait a little longer, but that's what she wanted to tell him now.

As long as Peter Pettigrew is dealt with in the future, he will not encounter these things again and will have a home and family of his own.

Harry stared at the resolute and calm Narilian in a daze. Because of the word "family", the inner turmoil and fear seemed to have a place to vent. His nose felt sore and his eyes were covered with a layer of mist.

He turned his head away in embarrassment, blinked the moisture from his eyes, and said, "I know, don't swear."

He was now in a state of uncertainty about his life or death. What would he do if his oath came true? He did not want Na Lilian to suffer any misfortune.

Because... they are friends.

Hermione also sat down next to Narilean and said to Harry, "Don't worry, Harry. The book says that You-Know-Who is always afraid of Dumbledore. As long as Dumbledore is around, he won't cause trouble. As for that star, why should we believe what the centaurs say? They may not be right."

"Hmm," Harry's inner turmoil gradually subsided after Hermione's careful analysis.

His eyes swept over Nalilian's folded hands and he carefully pulled them back.

They couldn't be implicated, not if Voldemort was coming to kill him.
