HP: Becoming a Maiden Heartthrob

Chapter 28 The Current Situation of the Four Houses at Hogwarts

Slytherin conspiracy?!

This statement startled the Gryffindors, made the Ravenclaws who were watching the show squint their eyes, and made the Hufflepuffs who were still eating look confused.

Make the Slytherins, who have no idea what conspiracy is, smile calmly so that others will think that the conspiracy was done by them.

No matter what conspiracy it is, no matter who set it up, as long as it can harm Gryffindor, it is a good conspiracy, a conspiracy worthy of Slytherin's recognition.

"What do you mean?"

The senior Gryffindor student couldn't help but slow down her tone and ask, as she didn't dare to be careless when it came to matters concerning her old rival.

Lavender sighed regretfully and began to explain, "Slytherin wants us to completely offend Granger and Potter, so that we can lose the Quidditch game and Granger will no longer score for our house."

"That's the conspiracy they're playing!"

"Is that right?"

The Gryffindors whispered to each other, having actually already believed most of it.

The Ravenclaws were skeptical and would not accept it without evidence.

Some of the Hufflepuffs didn't understand, and some were still eating.

The Slytherins looked annoyed at being accidentally exposed, thinking to themselves that this conspiracy was really great, but it was a pity that it was seen through by the stupid Gryffindors.

Thinking this, the people from the four houses turned their eyes to Hermione.

Hermione, who was sitting between Lavender and Parvati, had a dazed look on her face.

What...conspiracy?

"How did you know this?"

The senior Gryffindor girl continued to ask with an ugly look on her face, not wanting to admit that she had been fooled by the Slytherin.

Lavender said, "It was Narilean who discovered it. She said her brother and Senior Cedric had already suspected it."

Everyone turned their attention to Nariel, who was sitting between Kerston and Cedric at the Hufflepuff table.

She was staring down at her plate while Kerston cut her steak.

Feeling everyone's gaze on Nalilian, Kerston looked up and gave them a cold look, causing them to look away from the siblings and look at Cedric, who was friendly and kind.

Cedric nodded lightly with a heavy expression, indicating that what Lavender said was true.

"So Hufflepuff already knew about it, that's why they didn't target Hermione and the others!"

With Cedric's support, Lavender felt emboldened and added in a firm tone.

This made the Gryffindors completely believe it. It was well-reasoned and well-founded, especially since both Keston and Cedric thought so, it was very convincing.

The Ravenclaws looked at the Hufflepuffs unwillingly, as they actually knew it earlier than them.

The Hufflepuffs looked stunned. Did they not target Potter and the others because they knew about this?

Isn't it because Potter and Narielian are good friends that he did that?

The Slytherins maintained their mysterious smiles, secretly cursing the Hufflepuffs for being so despicable for having seen through their plot in advance.

They seemed to have already accepted that this conspiracy could only be thought up by their great Slytherin.

But who was behind this conspiracy?

"Then do you know who did it?" The senior Gryffindor student asked this question on behalf of the confused crowd.

"It was Malfoy!" Parvati added indignantly, "He mocked Narilean with this plot! We all saw it!"

"what?"

Draco, who had been following the Slytherins with a reserved demeanor, panicked when he heard his name being mentioned and quickly looked at Narilian.

She actually used him!

Meeting his gaze, Nalilian hid beside Kerston.

Without hesitation, Kersten protected her behind him and looked at Draco with a cold and angry expression, scaring the other party so much that he quickly looked away.

Draco dodged and felt embarrassed again. He turned his head to see if others noticed his embarrassment.

But he was met with admiring expressions of "So it was you who did it, you're worthy of being Malfoy", and he became confident again for a moment.

"sorry."

After knowing the truth, the senior Gryffindor girl stood up and apologized to Hermione openly.

"sorry!"

The other Gryffindors also stood up and apologized to Hermione.

Hermione's eyes turned red and she looked at Narilian. Needless to say, she knew it was her who did it.

What she said about being friends for life was true.

She should never have doubted hers.

After the meal, Hermione was surrounded by the Gryffindors to explain and apologize, while Narilean was taken out of the cafeteria by Kston and Cedric, pulled to a corner, and had her face pinched by Kston.

He asked, "How come I didn't know that Cedric and I had figured out that this was Malfoy's conspiracy?"

Nalilian flattered, "Brother is so smart, he must have guessed it a long time ago, but he just didn't say it out loud, and I just said it for him!"

Hearing her words, Cedric laughed and said, "Lillian can also read minds, that's amazing."

He was angry, and Nalilian heard it. She shrank her neck, closed her eyes, and skillfully admitted her mistake, "I was wrong. Don't hit me, I will change!"

"Okay," Kersten let go of her, touched her head, and said helplessly, "Well done."

Nalilian opened her eyes and carefully looked at Kston's expression, but met Kston's softened eyes. She paused and smiled, "Yeah."

"But why is Malfoy looking for Lillian?"

Before Nalilian could be happy for too long, Cedric gently pointed out what Nalilian wanted to hide.

Nalilian froze, looking at Cedric with tears in her eyes. Couldn't she get away with it just this once?

Kersten also said sternly, "You must tell me this. What does that thing want from you?"

Narilean had no choice but to explain everything in detail, including the dragon Norbert that Hagrid raised and then sent away.

Fortunately, the two boys didn't say anything to her. After listening to her, they sent her back to the lounge.

As soon as she entered the common room, Narilean heard a boiling apology and saw Harry and his friends, who looked confused, surrounded by Gryffindors.

As soon as Harry and Ron returned from the hospital wing, they were surrounded by everyone in the Gryffindor common room and asked to apologize, as if the world had changed. They were clearly being excluded and ignored before dinner.

This scared them so much that they thought they had walked into the wrong place or that they had eaten something they shouldn't have in the medical wing and were hallucinating.

However, they soon heard the truth from the Gryffindors and understood what had happened.

"So this is all Malfoy's conspiracy."

When they found Nallylian, Hermione had already reunited with her. After asking her, she learned the truth that this was a lie made up by Nallylian. She held her hand and thanked her.

Ron, who had just learned about this, ran over and said to them in shock, as if he had become one of the countless fish caught by Nalilian.

Hermione looked at Narilian, who was trying not to laugh, and shook her head to indicate that she shouldn't say anything, so she nodded.

Harry saw this and bit back his urge to agree with Ron.

I always feel like I'll be considered a fool if I say it out loud.

"Actually, I had this guess."

Ron seemed to realize that what he said was a bit silly and quickly added, which made Nalilian couldn't help laughing.

Hermione had to explain that this was a story made up by Nallylian to help them get out of the predicament of being looked down upon, which made Ron blush.

Fishing is really a technical job. If you are not careful, even your friends will be caught.

"Thank you, Nariel," Harry thanked sincerely after knowing the truth. It was not pleasant to be ignored by others, but it was very difficult to change the situation.

I didn't expect she could do it.

She didn't seem to be the girl who needed to be protected all the time as he thought.

Nalilian smiled and shook her head, "You're welcome, Harry, we're friends."

When they were ignored, they wanted her to stay away from them so that she wouldn't be implicated.

Since she was not affected by them, she naturally wanted to help them get out of that situation.

This is what a friend is.
