HP: Becoming a Maiden Heartthrob

Chapter 19: The Sober Spell Casting Scene

After that day, the Weasley twins were punished.

Because of the magic they had cast on Snowball, he was chasing Professor Quirrell, the new Defence Against the Dark Arts professor, around and hitting his turban.

This time it was Nalilian's turn to make faces at them and laugh at them at the dinner table, and they made faces back without giving in.

Christmas is coming soon, and there will be more than ten days of holiday.

Nalilian must go back with Kersten to see the Enders, as this is the British Spring Festival.

Hermione would go back too.

But Harry and Ron wouldn't go back.

This made Nalilian feel sympathy for them.

Harry certainly didn't want to go back to the Dursleys' house. After all, that place wasn't their home at all. They just treated Harry like a house-elf.

Ron and his Weasley twins also stayed behind because their parents were visiting Charlie, his middle brother, in Romania.

Nallylian felt guilty at the thought of this, because she had begun to dislike the food at Hogwarts, but it was food that the two little boys cherished very much.

In contrast, Malfoy laughed at Harry and Ron for not going home in the Potions class on Christmas Day. His bad behavior was not surprising.

After class, they met Hagrid, who was carrying a fir tree to the restaurant for the Christmas tree decorations.

Every time Nalilian saw this, she felt that Hogwarts was particularly great.

Because the principal and professors are willing to create a festive atmosphere for the little wizards, while in the Chinese school she attended, the most they would do during the holidays was play a sleep-inducing program like the "Mid-Autumn Festival Gala" in the class meeting.

They made way for Hagrid, and Harry and Ron tried to go and help him.

But Draco, who was walking behind them, went straight ahead with his two followers.

He ignored Narielian because it was a dark history, so he ignored Hermione as well.

He walked up to Harry and Ron, who were helping Hagrid hold onto the fir tree, and said coldly, "Get out of the way, okay? Oh, it's Weasley. You're so eager to help Hagrid, are you thinking of being a gamekeeper at the game farm? After all, isn't Hagrid's hut much more luxurious than your home?"

Hearing this, Nalilian wanted to call him "the peerless onmyoji".

Although Ron didn't understand what yin and yang were, he knew that Malfoy was insulting his family.

He rushed towards Draco angrily and was caught by Snape just as he grabbed his collar.

Hagrid explained that it was Malfoy who insulted Ron's family, but Snape still deducted points from Ron.

Draco snorted smugly and turned his head to find Narilian, indicating that her spell was a joke.

He loved showing off to her after giving Harry or the little wizards in Gryffindor a hard time.

Nalilian smiled at him quietly and said, "Wait for death, you bastard. She will definitely make you regret it."

"Lillian!" Cedric waved to her from a distance in the corridor, with Kersten standing beside her.

Narelle said goodbye to Hermione. Now that Hermione could be with Harry and Ron, she felt more at ease.

She ran towards Kerston and Cedric, and Kerston took her hand.

Harry was very envious when he saw this scene from afar. Just looking at how much Narileen's brother doted on her, he knew how wonderful Narileen's family was.

But Harry wouldn't have thought so if he knew Kxton's bad temper.

After picking up Nalilian, Kersten kept nagging her in her ear about what to bring home for Christmas, fearing that she would forget something.

Nalilian looked at Cedric for help, but he just smiled at her, looking a little gloating.

When we got to the Great Hall, Professor McGonagall and Professor Flitwick were busy decorating the Christmas tree.

There are already twelve Christmas trees here, some with icicles, some with candles, and some with golden bubbles, which is very Christmassy.

Nalilian stared intently.

Like her, many young wizards were amazed by the decoration of the hall.

Although the senior students were no longer surprised, their tone and voices were higher than usual.

The festive atmosphere is still very contagious.

"Don't we prepare a Christmas tree at home every year?" Kersten brought her back to her senses.

His tone was helpless and amusing, "You have never been short of gifts."

Nalilian wanted to retort that she had never celebrated Christmas before, but when she met Kersten's gaze, she came to her senses, felt disappointed, and nodded obediently without showing it.

Kersten touched her head, which made Nalilian more panicked.

She was not his sister, and never had been. This time spent being doted on by him felt like it was stolen, and she felt guilty.

She needs to gain heart points faster.

When getting along with ordinary friends, raising the favorability value to thirty becomes a bottleneck. To raise it to fifty and gain heart value, you still need to have in-depth contact.

She now set her sights on Harry and Ron, both of whom required ten hearts, and wanted to gain their hearts first.

On the day of the holiday, Kirsten and Cedric took their luggage and boarded the Hogwarts Express.

Hermione didn't want to go with them, she wanted to go sit with Neville.

Nalilian wanted to go with her, but Kersten wouldn't allow it.

The reason he gave was that he was afraid that Narelle would fall asleep on the train. What if something happened? After all, Malfoy was also on the train.

I always feel that Master Malfoy is described as a pest by him.

Nalilian couldn't persuade him and had to follow him.

The train was moving steadily, but she still felt sleepy.

She fell asleep on Kston's shoulder in a daze. When she woke up, Kston was holding her in his arms. It was almost time to arrive at the station. Cedric smiled and said that she slept on time.

After getting off the train, they took their luggage, said goodbye to Cedric on the platform, walked out of Platform 3 and 4/, and met Mr. Ender outside.

It was already dark by then. Mr. Ender took their luggage and took them to the car. While driving, he asked them what they thought of the magical world.

Mr. Ender was mainly asking about Nallylian, but Kerston answered most of it.

But the two of them tacitly did not mention the "Mudblood" matter, as they did not want to worry their parents.

Nallian believes that less is more, and what's more, the Enders are both Muggles. Even if they are rich in the Muggle world, it does not mean that they can handle the affairs of the wizarding world.

And they were very worried about "Na Lilian". It would be bad if the situation ended up causing her to drop out of school.

Kerston thought it was his responsibility. He was the first wizard in the family and he should take good care of Narillian. However, he caused Narillian to be "bullied" out of anger and he always blamed himself for it.

But he will take responsibility.

When they got home, Mrs. Ender had already prepared dinner. There was no Christmas tree at home, which made Nalilian a little disappointed.

But the next day they were busy, and Mr. Ender went to move the Christmas tree.

He ordered it from a company that specializes in selling Christmas trees, and took them to buy gifts for their classmates and family.

Kersten told Nalilian to make a list so she wouldn't miss any friends.

Nalilian did as she was told.

Then Kerston was surprised to find that his sister had more people to give gifts to than he had imagined.

Needless to say, there were few people from Gryffindor that Kxton knew.

But why are there so many Hufflepuffs?

Are those guys who like to mess up Nalilian's hair worthy of gifts?

Kersten read the list with his nose pinched, but he didn't say anything, because giving gifts can enhance friendship, and it would be best to spend a little money to make Narelle have more friends at Hogwarts.

Sitting in the car driven by Mr. Ende and being taken by Mr. Ende to buy gifts, Nalilian looked at the appearance of Britain in 91 outside the window with a stunned expression.

They should have come to the center of London, where the streets were wide, cars were passing by, and people were coming and going. It was almost the same as the London where she studied abroad, making her feel like she had returned to her original world.

But no, Mr. Ender, who was in the driver's seat, reminded them to make a shopping list, and Kersten carefully looked through the gift list she wrote, bringing her back to reality.

The car stopped quickly and after getting off, Mr. Ende took them into LIBERTY Department Store. It was a department store, but it had a classic and elegant style.

Nalilian was enlightened by the wealth of her cheap father, Mr. Ende.

Here a silk scarf costs 150 pounds, but Mr. Ende told her to pick any gift she wants.

She sighed in her heart that this thing was made of gold, and then gave up buying anything here.

"What's the matter, Lillian? Nothing you like?" asked Mr. Ender, noticing her empty hands.

Nalilian lowered her eyes, hesitated for a moment, and finally said, "I want to go to the gift shop on the side of the road."

It was the kind of place with a Christmas tree in front of the door and colorful lights hanging on it. She knew that the things inside were cheaper and more suitable for giving as gifts.

"I'll take her," Kersten said.

He had no interest in this place either, but Mr. Ende needed to pick out some gifts for his subordinates and had no time to accompany them.

Mr. Ender responded with understanding, "Okay, be safe and use the money in here." He slipped a credit card to Kersten.

Kersten took Nalilian out of the department store, bought her a crepe at a roadside fast food restaurant, and then took her into a Christmas gift shop while she was eating the crepe.

This place is similar to the boutiques in Chinese shopping malls, selling cups, stationery, hats, dolls, decorations and the like.

At first, Nalilian was just curious about the products, but then she lost her patience and even thought that buying a large package of Christmas cards wholesale online would be a good idea.

So at the end of the shopping trip, it was Kerston who held Nalilian's gift list. He diligently helped her choose the gifts and also asked in detail about Nalilian's relationship with them.

After Nalilian answered them one by one, she felt a headache when she thought about having to copy so many greeting cards.

The brother and sister walked out of the boutique carrying a large bag filled with gifts.

Mr. Ender had already bought the things and parked his car outside to wait for them. Seeing the big bag in their hands, he teased them that the white owl Kane might be exhausted by them.

Nalilian felt a little guilty because most of the things were hers, but Kersten thought it was Kane's job.

After buying the gifts, Mr. Ender took the two of them to have lunch at a Spanish restaurant next to the mall. The seaweed cod and cheese balls there were delicious.

After eating, they went to pick up the Christmas tree they had ordered, a fir tree and decorations, before returning home.

Mrs. Ende is preparing delicious food at home for Christmas tomorrow and has asked her two children to help.

But Nallylian was so tired after walking all day that her body began to doze off automatically. While helping Mrs. Ender mix flour, she almost fell into the flour basin and was driven to sleep by Kerston.

But she slept so soundly that she not only missed dinner, but also failed to wake up at twelve o'clock to watch the fireworks to celebrate the arrival of Christmas and see the fireworks.

According to Kerston's description, the whole family called her name, but she responded with her mouth and refused to open her eyes.

They had no choice but to pull her to her bedside and sing "Aulde Lang Syne" together, a traditional song sung in the UK at Christmas, until she fell asleep.

Nalilian felt extremely ashamed after hearing this.
