HP: Becoming a Maiden Heartthrob
Chapter 174 Not Going to Quidditch
When Nalilian woke up, she still felt dizzy and weak, but at least she was conscious. She sat up and saw Cedric sleeping on the side of the bed.
It was a very beautiful scene. The light from the bedside lamp shone on Seide, giving his long eyelashes a golden edge, making him look like an elf, very beautiful.
But the memories of yesterday gradually flooded into her mind, and Nalilian covered her face, feeling extremely helpless.
What she did.
He played memes, shouted about becoming an immortal, teased Ced, and most importantly, pointed at Snape and called him Professor Lupin.
She knew that she would get a little crazy when she had a cold or drank alcohol, but the madness was not this fatal.
Nalilian wants to die.
"Lillian?"
When Cedric opened his eyes, he saw Nalilian buried her face in her knees, and his heart froze.
Are you crying?
"Ced," Narellean said in a desperate voice, "I called Snape Professor Lupin and asked him why he dyed his hair."
"I am done."
So that's how it is. Cedric smiled helplessly and comforted her, "Lillian, you are sick, it's not intentional."
But the other party didn't know that she was sick, and Nalilian wailed in her heart.
He must have thought she did it on purpose.
"Want something to eat, Lillian?" Cedric stood up, rubbed his thighs which were a little stiff from sitting, and checked the time.
It's one o'clock in the middle of the night.
It was curfew at this time, so Lillian couldn't be sent back.
Cedric was worried about how this would affect Lillian.
Would her roommates be worried or gossipy if she stayed the night alone with him?
"I want some juice," said Nalilian, her throat was dry.
"I remember there are some oranges left," Cedric went to get some to juice.
Only then did Nalilian have the leisure to observe the place. She must have been brought to his prefect's dormitory by Seth.
She had previously asked Seth if she could visit his dormitory. In fact, her original words were that she wanted to admire his privileges, but he refused. Unexpectedly, when he was sick this time, Seth brought her in himself.
It looks very luxurious.
Not only is the single room equipped with a sofa, coffee table, desk, bookshelf, carpet, and a single bathroom. The overall yellow and black tones are very harmonious.
On the bookshelf, she saw densely packed books, just like Kerston's bookshelf. There were also some small parts scattered on the desk, as well as something that looked like a socket.
But that socket had no wires connected to it. Instead, it led to a round glass ball with colorful lights flashing inside it like lightning.
Nalilian stared at this magical device, and a vague guess emerged in her mind.
Until Cedric put the washed oranges in the juicer, put the plug in the socket, and started the juicer. The juicer made a buzzing sound and mashed the oranges inside.
Sure enough, Narilla thought, Said used electricity, he used the electrical appliances of the Muggle world.
"Ced," she cried out.
"What's wrong, Lillian?" Cedric looked at her and asked gently.
This would be a groundbreaking magic prop, just like Edison invented the light bulb, Nalilian wanted to say so, but then she realized that this might be something that Kston asked Sede to make, just like the computer that Kston could use without connecting to wires last time.
She was even more aware that such things were illegal in the wizarding world.
The Ministry of Magic has an Office for the Misuse of Muggle Artifacts, which prohibits wizards from performing magic on objects used by Muggles.
Nalilian thought about it, but still didn't speak, because the word "future" was too far away from her.
"It seems like I haven't seen Kersten in ages," she said, changing the subject.
Come to think of it, she had indeed seen very little of Kerston in the past month, and had even received very few letters from him.
"He sent me a letter, coaching the Irish team," Cedric said with a smile, "and he said if you miss him, he will send you the exercises he just wrote."
"I don't miss him!" Nalilian shook her head.
Cedric's smile deepened. When the juicer stopped, he poured out the juice, brought it to the bedside, and handed it to Nalilian.
"It's delicious!" Nalilian took a sip and praised it highly.
I don’t know what Sede put in it, but the juice has a light tea flavor, like fruit tea, refreshing and sweet.
Cedric smiled broadly. "It's not easy to get your approval, Lillian."
"How could that be?" Nalilian cried aggrievedly. She was very supportive of Said and never hesitated to praise him for every meal he cooked for her.
"Who made you such a picky eater?" Cedric said, sitting on the edge of the bed and watching her drink the juice.
Lillian drank slowly, but there was no resistance on her face, and it seemed that she really liked it.
He smiled and said, "If possible, I will open a dessert shop in Hogsmeade to support you."
Nalilian paused.
after……
"I asked Madam Puddifoot, and she thinks Hogsmeade is the best place to stay. You can see little wizards here every week, and it's very lively."
Cedric continued to speak, but Nalilian was already having trouble holding the glass.
"What's your style, Lillian?" Cedric asked.
Nalilian was unable to answer for a moment.
She couldn't tell Said that she had no intention of being involved in his future.
She had already decided to leave after ensuring he survived the Goblet of Fire match in her fourth year.
The sudden silence let the sound of rain outside the window into the house, making it feel a little cold.
Cedric noticed something was wrong when Nalilian didn't answer for a long time. He looked at her with a worried look on his face. "Lillian?"
Why does she look so pale?
"According to your idea, Seder," Nalilian said, "I have always had a terrible sense of taste."
"What's wrong, Lillian?" Cedric realized something was wrong and reached out to hold her shoulders.
She is trembling.
Nalilian grabbed his arm, and emotions rushed into her like a tide. She couldn't help but want to tell Sede, to tell him her biggest secret.
She actually didn't want to leave them, the people who loved her and whom she also loved.
But no.
Cold rationality quickly spread through her drowsy brain, driving away her remaining greed.
She has no right to occupy this body.
Nalilian leaned against Ced's neck so that he couldn't see her expression. "I just think I'm too selfish, Ced."
She murmured weakly.
"I haven't even thought about how to take good care of you in the future," she said, "yet you've made plans for me."
"I'm really selfish."
So that's how it was. Cedric breathed a sigh of relief, not knowing whether to laugh or cry. He restrained himself and gently patted her back, saying in a gentle voice, "This is my responsibility."
Let her live a better, happier and carefree life.
Nalilian said nothing and grabbed his sleeve.
"However," Cedric paused, patting her hands, "since Lillian realizes that she is wrong, can you promise me one thing?"
"What's wrong, Ced?"
"Not going to the Quidditch match today."
"Eh?"
