HP: Becoming a Maiden Heartthrob

Chapter 169 Girl’s Heart

Hogsmeade, a village inhabited entirely by wizards, consists of thatched-roof cottages and shops. Magic candles are lit on the trees along the street, and after the snow falls in late October, it looks like a picture on a Christmas card.

Nalilian, wearing a scarf and thick velvet gloves, was walking on the street hand in hand with Cedric, looking around curiously.

This is another commercial street for wizards besides Diagon Alley, and it looks very nice.

"Well, it's snowing."

As she looked around, snow fell on her head. Nalilian reached out and touched it, feeling small snowflakes.

"Are you cold?" Cedric asked, squeezing her fingers.

Nalilian looked at him. His skin was white and shiny from the wind, his brown hair covered his thick eyebrows, and his light brown eyes reflected the broken light, making him look even more handsome.

She responded jealously, "Cold."

"Then wear my scarf. I've put a warming charm on it." Cedric untied his scarf and put it on Narilla's shoulders, but his scarf was too big and covered her entire face.

Nalilian had to squint her eyes because of the fluff on the scarf. Now she couldn't see anything. She felt like she was surrounded by the warmth and smell of Ced, and she had to reach out and grab Ced next to her.

"Don't be impatient, Lillian." Seeing that she was like a little blind person, Cedric laughed and reached out to hook the cloth covering her eyes. After Lillian's eyes were exposed, she glared at him. Cedric smiled even more brightly and reached out to touch her ear. "We need to tidy this up a little bit."

He tucked the scarf under her ears and tucked the loose hair behind her ears.

Nalilian sensed something else. She looked down and saw that Ced's scarf was too long and had fallen on her toes. She raised her toes and kicked the scarf to signal him, "Ced."

Cedric lowered his head and saw it too. He reached out to roll up the scarf that was longer than his head and said in a distressed voice, "But Lillian, your shoulders can no longer fit it. Do you want to wrap it up like a wizard robe?" There was a smile in his voice.

Nalilian kicked him. Don't think she didn't hear he was laughing at her small size.

The final solution was to put the extra scarf in his pocket, and he also put her hand in his pocket and held it so that she could be closer to him.

"Where are we going?" Nalilian asked dizzily, half leaning on Seth, feeling warm in his scarf.

"In front," Cedric led her further into the street.

They passed by the Three Broomsticks pub, which had a triangle made of three broomsticks hanging outside it. Narilean heard a lively discussion inside mixed with the sound of Quidditch. She looked over and paused, because she saw a large dynamic poster outside the pub. The poster showed Harry holding the "Advanced Interpretation Guide to Quidditch".

"Hmm," Cedric commented, following her gaze and also seeing the poster, "Harry is really handsome."

"You're so handsome, do you also want to be printed on the poster?" Nalilian asked him.

"No," Cedric said with a gentle smile.

"You're so hypocritical, Sede," Nalilian accused.

"What about Lillian?" Cedric asked her.

"I don't want to," Nalilian shook her head righteously.

Cedric laughed out loud.

"I guess Harry doesn't want to either," Narilean said again.

"Kirsten asked Harry, and he had no objection," Cedric said. "Kirsten then wrote to Sirius to inquire. After all, he is Harry's godfather, and he is very happy that his godson can have a personal poster. He also hopes to set a maximum size for the poster."

Now it was Nalilian's turn to laugh.

"It seems that neither of us is cut out for fame," she said after she finished laughing.

"Yes," Cedric replied with a smile, reaching out to brush some of the falling snow away from her head.

If I dissolve it inside the house later, it will wet my hair.

I should have worn a hat. Cedric thought about this and felt a little annoyed that he had not done so.

It has always been Kston who has taken Lillian's hat. Lillian's mother would knit a cute hat and scarf for her every year, and in the past, they would be sent to Kston. This year, Kston told him that it was sent to Lillian. This time, Lillian forgot to wear it, and he didn't have the habit of wearing a hat, which led to the current situation.

Maybe it's time to buy a smaller knit hat.

After he cleaned it up, he put the hood of Lillian's wizard robe over her head and said, "Let's go, Lillian. It's going to snow hard soon."

The top was blocked, and Nalilian's vision became narrower. There was only a gap left for her to see the road. She could only lean on Seid and follow him to an unknown destination. Seid held her hand tightly.

After stopping for a while, she heard the jingle of the doorbell, the smell of heating and tea in the shop, and then the hood she was wearing was taken off. Under the warm yellow light, she saw a tea room decorated with lace and filled with small round tables covered with lace.

Nalilian: "Wow."

It’s such a girly place.

Has she never grown up in the eyes of Sid and Kersten?

At this time, a fat golden angel flew over and stuffed a pink candy into her hand.

She held the candy in her hand and said in a soulless voice: "It's so beautiful here, Sede, haha."

"Madam Puddifoot's Tea House, the tea here is very good, you won't want to miss it," Cedric said, leading her to an empty seat. The two of them attracted a lot of attention. Cedric blocked Nalilian's figure and let her sit in the corner by the window.

The windows here were decorated with roses and red heart candlesticks, surrounded by a circle of pink lace. Nalilian rubbed her eyes; she was almost blinded by the red and pink colors here.

Cedric got up and went to the teahouse owner, Mrs. Puddifoot, to order food. She was a plump lady with black hair tied up in a bun. The wizard robe she wore was covered with layers of lace, very much in the style of a cake dress.

Not long after, Cedric came back with a tray and placed a pink cupcake with wings on it in front of her.

"Mrs. Puddifoot's husband gave me a cupcake, one of their upcoming new products," he explained, putting down the saucer and pouring tea from the teapot, which was also decorated with an exaggerated pattern of large red roses, vines, and pink wings.

"She's married?" Nalilian asked in surprise.

"Yes, her husband is in the kitchen preparing tea," Cedric said, placing the poured tea in front of her, "Let it cool for a moment, it's still hot."

Nalilian looked at the petal teacup in front of her and remembered someone had told her before that this style was just a poor imitation of the Rococo style.

However, she gathered the cupcakes together and realized that the owner of such a style was a girl who had always been protected in a happy life and had a girlish heart.

An enviable girl.

Nalilian was distracted by the teacup when a jewelry box was handed to her. Inside was a lace-lace gem flower tree brooch. Compared with the pink heart-shaped tablecloth on the table, it looked a little fresh and small.

She felt a stir in her heart and reached out to touch the intricate jeweled flower on the pendant.

"Do you like it?" Seth's gentle voice came to her ears.

"I like it very much," she replied, looking up and meeting Cedric's slightly nervous eyes. She suddenly realized that the boy in front of her was also using his own strength to protect her hypocritical and beautiful girlish heart.
