HP: Becoming a Maiden Heartthrob
Chapter 168 Light Colors
After class, Professor McGonagall mentioned going to Hogsmeade and reminded all the Gryffindor wizards to submit their application forms to her before Halloween.
The four little wizards, Nalilian, had already submitted their application forms in advance. This was all thanks to Hermione's reminder. She collected their forms and handed them to Professor McGonagall long ago.
The four little wizards didn't listen to Professor McGonagall. Hermione and Ron were arguing about the spell to turn a teapot into a turtle in the Transfiguration class. Ron conjured up a teapot with four turtle legs crawling around, wondering whether it was a turtle or a teapot.
Nalilian was collecting the teapot she had restored.
Harry moved closer to Narilean and saw her teapot.
After she successfully turned the teapot into a turtle in class, she began to change the turtle shell into various colors and patterns.
Harry saw patterns of starry sky, falling snow, mermaids, and Halloween bats and pumpkins. Only when he got closer could he see the original pattern on her teapot: pink flowers and tender green branches.
He remembered that the flower was called rose.
Does she like this kind of flower?
"Nallyllian," Harry couldn't help but speak.
He wanted to ask her if she would go to Hogsmeade with them this weekend.
"Sorry, Harry," Nalilian interrupted him awkwardly, "Let's talk later."
She looked out the classroom door, and Harry followed her gaze, seeing Cedric standing by the wall outside the door. He met his gaze and smiled at him, his eyes then falling on Narielian.
Many girls in the classroom had noticed him and kept looking towards the classroom door, but he didn't care and kept looking at Nalilian.
Harry was speechless for a moment. It was the first time that he had such a deep understanding of Nallylian and Senior Diggory being together. He had a momentary impulse to stand in front of Nallylian and block her gaze, but he didn't dare. He could only watch Nallylian pick up her schoolbag, say goodbye to him and leave.
I feel like there's a void in my heart.
He was in a daze throughout lunch. The joy he had felt in the morning about going to Hogsmeade had disappeared, and the prophecy that Lavender had said was mixed up in his mind, making him feel so uncomfortable that he wanted to feel sick.
"Senior Diggory is really nice to Lillian."
When he heard the name, he tilted his head to look over as if he had just heard a voice.
It was Parvati, who had sat down next to Hermione and was talking to her.
Lavender sat on the other side of Parvati, not watching them talk, obviously not yet forgiving Hermione.
"The meal that Senior Digory brought to Lillian the night before last seemed to have been cooked by him," said Parvati.
"No wonder I didn't wait until she had dinner, I thought she hadn't eaten dinner," said Hermione.
Harry then remembered the Quidditch training the day before yesterday. Narellean left early, and he trained as usual until eleven o'clock that day before going back. Ron couldn't help but go back to the dormitory and put the dinner left for him in the dormitory.
"The most important thing is that Senior Diggory personally cooked for Lillian. I really changed my mind, I feel that," said Parvati.
Hermione looked at her in surprise. Parvati had previously had a grudge against Senior Diggory.
Parvati said, "Have you ever seen a boy cook for a girl? It's hard for you to even teach those boys about cooking utensils."
Hermione glanced at Ron beside her.
Ron frowned and stuffed a chicken drumstick into his mouth, "My mom cooks at home."
He did not deny Parvati's words.
"Actually, I never felt the reality of them being together," Hermione said, "Isn't Lillian usually kept by Senior Diggory like that?"
"They're not even together yet," Lavender, who hadn't spoken much, said exaggeratedly, "Didn't you see that Senior Ende rarely hangs out with them?"
"Senior Ende should be busy with the publication of that book," Hermione said, her tone a little hard.
She hadn't quite forgiven Lavender yet.
"He's definitely trying to avoid suspicion," Lavender said. "And have you seen Lillian's new bracelet? That must be a gift from Senior Diggory."
"You mean the pink pearl bracelet?" Hermione asked, and Lavender nodded.
"I really envy Lillian," Lavender said, "her boyfriend is handsome and outstanding, and he cooks for her and spends money on her."
"And Senior Diggory is a light-skinned guy, they're destined to be a couple."
"Light colors?" Hermione was puzzled.
"Like Senior Diggory and that McMillan before," Parvati curled her lips unconsciously when Lavender mentioned the name. "They both have light hair, which suits Lillian very well. Lillian must have sensed it too."
"What's the principle behind this?" Hermione was even more confused.
"Because Lillian's hair and eyes are pure black," Parvati said, and Lavender rolled her eyes. "Forget it, don't tell her. She won't understand!"
"She doesn't even believe Professor Trelawney!"
Hermione really didn't understand and didn't believe it.
"We've studied Eastern divination, and they emphasize the fusion of black and white," Parvati said, drawing a circle and a horizontal line through the middle. "Black on top, white on the bottom, and it will be perfect."
"Like me, my skin is black. If I dye my hair white, like Madam Hooch, to neutralize my skin color, I will definitely have good luck."
"Lillian has black hair and eyes, so she's meant to be with guys with light hair and eyes. They'll get along better, just like this circle."
"But didn't Macmillan break up with Lillian?" Hermione questioned.
"Oh, I told you, but you don't understand," Lavender shook her head. "It's called 'out with the old, in with the new.' It's better that McMillan split up. Everything is for the better. Senior Diggory and Lillian are together."
Then she began to instill in Hermione the mysterious Eastern divination that she and Parvati had studied. Hermione glanced at Ron and decided to listen, but Harry didn't listen.
He felt that he was completely defeated by the fact that senior Digory could cook and that the other party was of light color. He actually didn't care much about cooking because he could cook too, but the most fatal thing was that he was not of light color.
He felt like he had no chance at all and was so miserable that he couldn't even eat.
This situation continued until Quidditch practice in the evening, when he was knocked off his broom by a Bludger hit by Fred.
Fortunately, George was quick enough to catch him and secure him back on the broom.
"What's the matter with you, our dear Seeker?"
"You look like you're going to die."
After training, the Weasley twins approached Harry. He was the key to the team and was about to play against Slytherin, so he couldn't make any mistakes.
"I have a friend," Harry decided to talk to them because of his inner distress.
Fred and George looked at each other.
There was no doubt that this friend must be referring to himself.
"Oh," Fred asked indulgently, putting his arm around his shoulder, "Well, what happened to this friend of yours?"
Harry then told Parvati about the black and white divination techniques. Since he hadn't listened carefully at the time, he didn't want to listen anymore when he heard that he wasn't light-colored and was not a good match for Narielian.
"My friend likes girls who wear black, and the best color for her is light," Harry said, looking forward to it.
Maybe Fred and George could find a way to make him lighter? Or could they just firmly tell him it was a joke and not believe it?
"Oh," Fred stroked his chin and asked seriously, "Is red hair considered a light color?"
Harry felt even more desperate.
