"The Avengers? What are they doing here?"

Hiding behind the tree, Icarus's eyes flickered; the sudden appearance of the Avengers had interrupted his plans.

Christine was completely unaware that someone was hiding behind her, and was intently examining Ajax's injuries.

"Damn it! This woman is badly injured! I need to get her to the hospital right away!"

After briefly checking her breathing and heartbeat, Christine immediately knew that the woman was about to die.

Hearing her mutterings from behind the tree, Icarus frowned slightly. He couldn't let Ajak live, or he would be exposed.

His people are likely to join Ajak's efforts to prevent the birth of Tiamuto.

Thinking of this, a hint of ferocity appeared in his gaze as he looked at Christine.

Natasha and Strange were unaware of the situation on the cliff; they were focused on facing the mutants closing in on them.

Several mutants formed a circle, glaring at them menacingly, while Kro, after being hit by a hammer, screamed and ran back into the cave to begin adapting to Ajak's energy.

Where did these guys come from?

Inside the Sky Sword Bureau, the man with the bald head stared intently at the images displayed on the satellite.

"They need backup! Where are the others?"

Hill checked his watch.

"I've already contacted Sam and Barton. Once they've gathered, Christine will open a portal and send them there!"

“Okay!” The bald-headed man nodded and continued watching the big screen.

The battle has already begun in the scene.

One of the mutants charged at Natasha, who was standing on the ground.

"Do you think I'm an easy target?" Natasha sneered, brandishing her Mjolnir, dodging the attack, and then sending the charging mutant flying far away with a single blow.

The mutant crashed heavily to the ground, rolling more than ten meters before stopping. It wobbled for a while before finally managing to get up.

Seeing this, the other mutants immediately realized that the human in front of them was not someone to be trifled with, and decisively shifted their attention to Strange, who was floating in mid-air.

Strange was dumbfounded. The levitation cloak carried him away from a mutated creature's lunge, and a magical longsword materialized in his hand.

"Looks like I've become the easy target! Well, let's give it a try!"

"Keep your distance, Stephen! Don't let your guard down! These guys are no ordinary people!"

Strange was about to attack when Natasha stopped him, her eyes serious.

Hearing this, he had no choice but to float even higher, conjuring a magic array in his hand and saying, "Then I'll cover you!"

“Okay!” Natasha nodded, then raised the Meow Hammer high, and a bolt of lightning descended from the sky, striking the hammer.

Once the lightning energy was fully charged, Natasha unleashed a massive amount of lightning at a mutant in front of her.

"Ouch~~"

Accompanied by the aroma of meat, the mutated creature that had been attacked screamed in agony, and the other mutated creatures rushed toward Natasha in unison.

Natasha decisively swung her hammer off the ground to avoid being surrounded, then swooped down towards another mutant on the ground.

The mutant was smashed to the ground by Natasha's hammer.

She then threw her hammer, sending another mutant that was turning back to charge at her flying into the cave.

Strange used his magic shield to block the attack from the other side.

After dodging the attack from the last remaining mutant, she raised her hand and recalled the Meow Hammer.

However, he didn't catch it. Instead, he turned to the side and let the flying hammer hit the face of the mutant who was returning.

Mjolnir's power pressed down on its head, causing it to lie on the ground unable to get up.

After dealing with it, Natasha certainly didn't forget the leader, Crow, whom she had initially defeated.

She was carrying the Meow Hammer and was about to enter the cave when she heard Kro's roar coming from inside.

"Tap... tap..."

With the sound of footsteps, Kro, having absorbed the energy of Ajak, finally emerged from the cave, accompanied by the mutated creature that Natasha had just knocked into the cave.

By this time, it had been healed by Kro and even strengthened, becoming much stronger.

Strange flew to Natasha's side, frowning as he looked at Crocodile and his minions, whose shapes had changed somewhat.

"These guys have changed strangely. Why? Is it because of that woman from earlier?"

Although it was only a glance, Strange clearly saw a glint of light in the tentacles that Crowe had pierced into Ajax.

After that, Crowe changed. Anyone could tell that the two were definitely related, but now was not the time to go find that woman. They had to deal with the monster in front of them first.

"I'll handle the big one, you deal with the small one!"

After Natasha finished speaking, she swung her hammer and went straight for Crowe, smashing it into the ground and forcing them apart.

“Okay!” Strange conjured a magical shield in his hand, and then a gust of Vatum wind, carrying biting cold ice, bombarded the mutant repeatedly, forcing it to retreat.

Natasha wielded her Meow Meow Hammer, focusing intently on dealing with Crow. She struck Crow squarely on the jaw from below.

Kro was sent flying by her attack, and several of his fangs were knocked out.

But it quickly got back up, and thanks to Ajax's healing abilities, its injuries healed rapidly.

“This guy…”

Natasha frowned as she watched Crow, who had been bleeding profusely, recover from his injuries in just a few seconds.

"Drink!!!" She didn't have time to think too much. After dodging Kro's pounce, she summoned a bolt of lightning that struck it from the sky.

The powerful lightning caused Kro to scream in pain, but it was quickly healed.

'I need an even fiercer attack!'

A sudden realization dawned on Natasha: a protracted battle with this monster would be disadvantageous for her; she had to finish the fight quickly!

While the man and the beast were facing off, Strange was not idle either. He used the residual power of Natasha's summoning of lightning to gather the scattered lightning energy in the air between his palms.

With a bolt of lightning shooting out, Bosat's Lightning struck the mutated creature head-on, blasting its head apart.

Seeing the monster lying motionless on the ground, Strange breathed a sigh of relief and turned to look at Natasha.

The two then surrounded Crowe.

Kro was highly intelligent and immediately realized that the situation was not good for him, so he turned around and tried to run away.

Strange decisively used the Mirror Dimension, enveloping the two people and the beast within it.

Meanwhile, inside the Sky Sword Bureau, Hill couldn't get through to Christine's phone and sensed something was wrong.

"Sir! She's not answering!"
