Marvel: Spider-Man Begins Spoilers

Chapter 800: Avengers: Infinity War Easter Egg

Captain America turned Vision's body over, looking at the hole in his forehead; his entire body had turned gray.

Natasha rushed over, and when she saw Vision's body, she froze, her face filled with grief.

Captain America slumped helplessly to the ground, forced to accept their defeat.

Rhodes took two steps forward. "What's going on? What exactly happened?"

He turned to look at Thor, and saw that it was Thor fighting Thanos at the very end.

But Thor couldn't answer that either. Nobody knew the answer; they didn't know exactly what Thanos did with the Infinity Stones, so nobody could answer his question.

Captain America, panting heavily, realized something. "Oh God!"

The scene shifts to a scenic spot where a house stands nestled in the mountains.

Thanos was seen walking unsteadily, the Infinity Stones having inflicted heavy damage on him, leaving him quite weak.

He stumbled and sat down on the house steps, watching the sunset. A smile crept across his face; in his eyes, he had finally accomplished his great task.

"Where is he? Is this where he's retired?" Tony squinted and turned to Gamora, hoping to get some information from her.

Gamora frowned.

"He did say many times that he would retire after completing the project, but he never told me where this place was, but I'm sure it must be a remote planet."

"Come on! This is like finding a needle in a haystack. There's no way we can find his planet in the vast universe." Rocket shrugged. How could we possibly find it!

“Alright! What do you think Thanos will do now? After seeing his plan succeed!” Strange raised his head.

"Speed up the collection of the Infinity Stones! He attacked Xandar, and now every civilization in the universe must be living in fear, afraid that he will complete his plan!"

Captain America turned to Gamora. "Gamora, can you take us to Vormir?"

"Why? The fewer people who know about that place, the better!" Gamora was puzzled. In her opinion, it was best if no one went there!

Rhodes explained, "Because the captain is worried that Thanos might find that place! Don't forget how you found that map; Thanos can naturally find some clues too!"

“Yeah! Of course, if my father can find it, it means that others can too!” Thor agreed with Rhodes’s idea.

Gamora took a deep breath. "Okay! I'll take you! But you'd better be prepared!"

Tony nodded.

"Yeah! But we can't all go. We'll stick to the old method: leave some people on Earth! I'll still take the Cosmic Orb as a last resort!"

Tony doesn't keep the Power Stone on his armor all the time, because the Mark 17 can't withstand the Power Stone's energy for long, since Wanda's enchantments will wear off as the Power Stone erodes them.

Therefore, to prevent the armor from being overloaded too early, Tony would return the Power Stone to the Orb after each battle.

The same applies to the Mark 18, except that its carrying time is longer and its upper limit is higher than that of the Mark 17.

Still can't get in touch with Stark?

"No! Still can't get in touch! We've used every satellite in the world, but to no avail!"

Nick Fury was driving, talking to Sylvia in the passenger seat.

[At that moment, Hill's phone rang.]

[The man with the bald head asked, "What happened?"]

Hill replied to the message, "Multiple warships have appeared over Wakanda!"

"Is it the same scale as the one in New York?"

"It's ten times more than that time!"

[Upon hearing this, the man with the bald head frowned. "Notify Agent Clinton that we'll rendezvous with him..."]

"Nick! Nick!!!"

Before the man with the bald head could finish speaking, a vehicle traveling in the opposite direction suddenly lost control and crashed into a parked car.

Hill shouted anxiously, and the bald-headed man slammed on the brakes, narrowly avoiding a collision.

The two got off the motorcycle, which was now in chaos. The rider had vanished, leaving only the motorcycle overturned on its side.

Hill walked up to check on the car in front of him, only to find the driver's seat empty.

"Are they alright?"

"There's no one in the car!"

[Just then, the sound of a helicopter came from the sky behind them. The man with the bald head turned to look and saw a helicopter, billowing smoke, crash out of control into a building, causing a violent explosion.]

The people fled in panic.

Seeing this horrific scene, Nick Fury, without turning his head, ordered Hill, "Call control! Red alert!"

But then Hill realized something was wrong with her body. "Nick!"

[The bald-headed man turned to look at her and saw her body drifting away in the wind. "Hill?!"]

[Soon Hill turned to dust before his eyes. The bald-headed man immediately realized what had happened to the others, rushed to the back seat, and pulled out his last lifeline—Captain Marvel's pager—from his bag.]

He had just pressed the switch when he noticed his left hand was also dissipating. Realizing something was terribly wrong, he cried out, "Oh no! Damn it..."

Before he could finish speaking, he vanished, leaving only the pager lying on the ground.

The words "Transferring" were clearly displayed above.

"So Fury notified Carol at the last minute, and she rushed back from space to help us complete the plan and defeat Thanos?" Banner rubbed his chin.

Captain America said, "It's not impossible, but even with Carol, it's not easy to defeat Thanos who has all six Infinity Stones. After all, with the Space Stone, he can move freely throughout the universe! It will be very difficult for us to find him!"

Tony clapped his hands to bring everyone's attention back.

"Okay! We've finished watching this episode, time to get ready to go! Our mission objective is to ensure the safety of the Soul Gem!"

"I wish you a safe return!" Natasha, who remained on Earth, tilted her head.

“We’ll be back soon! Contact us immediately if anything happens!” Captain Marvel nodded to her.

"I hope you don't run into Thanos!" Rhodes shrugged.

"Please, don't jinx it, okay?" Sam rolled his eyes.

Thor instructed Natasha, "Keep an eye on my sister."

Natasha nodded and said, "Don't worry! I'll be staying here for a while! Peter's on vacation too, so I can have May bring him to stay with me."

"Okay!" Thor nodded, and then left Earth via the Rainbow Bridge. They would first go to Asgard, and then quickly reach the vicinity of Vormir via the Rainbow Bridge.
