Xu Yingying, who had figured out what Xu Xiaofeng said, suddenly felt so hungry that she could eat a cow. She touched her stomach and thought, "Strange, I wasn't very hungry just now, why am I so hungry all of a sudden?"

Xu Yingying thought about it and realized that it might be because her brain had just consumed too much energy, which caused her to be so hungry. Thinking of this, she couldn't help but laugh and said to herself: "It seems that thinking about problems is also a physical activity!"

Xu Yingying looked up at the barely touched dishes on the table, and a sense of guilt welled up in her heart. She realized that because she had been immersed in her own world and had not eaten seriously, Xu Xiaofeng seemed to have been waiting for her to eat together.

So, Xu Yingying picked up the chopsticks, picked up a piece of meat and put it in Xu Xiaofeng's bowl, and said gently: "Auntie, you eat this."

Xu Xiaofeng quickly waved her hand and said politely, "Eat it yourself, auntie will pick it up herself."

Xu Yingying blinked, showing an innocent smile, and said: "Auntie, I know you will pick it up. But this is for you. It is my love for you."

After hearing this, Xu Xiaofeng couldn't help laughing and said jokingly: "You are a child who changes from time to time."

Xu Yingying pouted and said in a wronged tone, "Auntie, please don't be like this. I just want to express my feelings."

Xu Xiaofeng shook her head helplessly and said with a smile: "Okay, okay, auntie knows."

Xu Yingying smiled complacently and continued to pick up food for Xu Xiaofeng, muttering, "Auntie, eat more, you are too thin."

Xu Xiaofeng looked at the increasing amount of food in the bowl and said with a smile: "Eat your own food and don't give me any more."

Xu Yingying stuck out her tongue playfully and said, "No, I'm going to give it to you."

Looking at Xu Yingying, who was so talkative, Xu Xiaofeng was really powerless to resist. She didn't even know how to deal with such a situation.

In this war without gunpowder, both of them finally ate too much. Xu Yingying was the first to speak: "I feel so satisfied!"

Xu Xiaofeng helplessly rubbed her stomach, which was obviously overfed, and then sighed softly: "You kid, don't give me food next time."

Xu Yingying smiled mischievously and said, "Haha, Auntie, you're such a polite person." Xu Xiaofeng was overwhelmed by Xu Yingying's sudden change of character. She felt as if she understood her niece less and less. So, she quickly cleared the table and hurried into the kitchen to wash the dishes, trying to avoid Xu Yingying.

Xu Yingying watched Xu Xiaofeng's departing back, a smile playing on her lips. She realized that she seemed to have found a way to get along with Xu Xiaofeng. This feeling made her feel very happy, as if life had become more interesting. Unconsciously, Xu Yingying gradually became more alive in this mission world. She began to enjoy this new experience and looked forward to more surprises and challenges in the future.

After Xu Xiaofeng took care of all the dishwashing work, Xu Yingying rested in the hall for a while, took a shower, and then returned to her room.

Lying in bed, I recalled the two dreams I had today and the conversation I had with Aunt Xu during dinner.

For the first time, I felt that everything that happened in my previous dream was led by me. Thinking back to Aunt Xu’s reminder just now, not being led by the nose, wasn’t I being led by the nose by the dream?

When Xu Yingying believes she's entering a dream in an attempt to recover lost memories, she doesn't realize it might be a trap. Though she doesn't know who set her up, each dream seems to be feeding her a message. She remains a passive recipient in her dreams, perceiving them as real. However, perhaps they're merely fantasies, deep within her heart.

After all, dreams are inherently imaginary, and the truth of what happens within them is difficult to discern. Even in real life, we are often deceived by illusions, let alone dreams. Therefore, determining the authenticity of dreams presents a difficult problem. They could be replays of past experiences or subconscious imaginations.

Xu Yingying began to doubt her interpretation of the dream. She realized that those so-called "memories" might just be wishful thinking she had given to the dream. The true truth might be hidden deeper, requiring her to explore and discover.

Maybe next time I enter a dream, I should observe it more carefully. Have I been deceived all this time without realizing it?

As she was thinking, Xu Yingying fell into a dream again.

This time, she felt as if she was in a dark world, surrounded by thick fog, which made her feel a little depressed and uneasy. Xu Yingying tried hard to see the surrounding environment clearly, but there was only a blurry scene in front of her.

At that moment, Xu Yingying heard a clear, melodious laugh, like the sound of nature, and it drew her toward the source. As the distance closed in, Xu Yingying finally saw the source of the laughter—a cute little boy riding a small, exquisite bicycle, his face brimming with happiness. This boy looked very similar to the previous child, but she knew it wasn't the same person because the previous child's expression had never been so vivid.

Looking at the scene in front of her, Xu Yingying felt an inexplicable emotion in her heart, and she couldn't help but reach out and want to touch the child. However, when Xu Yingying's hand was about to touch the child, the scene suddenly changed dramatically.

The joyous scene suddenly turned eerie and terrifying. The lovely child vanished, replaced by a monster with a distorted face and a ferocious expression. It rode on a worn-out bicycle and rushed towards Xu Yingying at high speed, emitting a sharp, piercing cry.

Xu Yingying was frightened by this sudden change and panicked. She retreated desperately, trying to escape this terrible place. However, no matter how hard she tried, she could not escape the monster's pursuit. Finally, she collapsed to the ground in despair, watching the monster getting closer and closer, her heart filled with fear.

At this moment, she found herself transformed into a hoarse person, shouting at the monster: "Don't hurt me! Don't hurt my child!"

Her voice echoed in the air, filled with endless pain and despair. The monster seemed enraged by her cry and pounced on her even more frantically...
