Chapter 96 Buying Shoes

"What are you doing?" Tang Xin looked at him, her voice choked with surprise.

Jin Taize lowered his head and scooped up a spoonful of porridge. His tone was so calm that no emotion could be heard. "It's too annoying."

Too? Troublesome?

Bro, can we please get rid of you? You are the boss of the school, you can hang up on anyone you want, that's because you are paying them salaries.

She was different. As long as she didn't resign, she would have to rely on others for support. She hung up the principal's phone, as if she didn't want to do this anymore.

"You hung up on me." Tang Xin spread her hands and reminded him loudly.

The ringtone rang again. Jin Taize glanced at the caller ID, picked up the phone, and pressed the power button. He glanced at Tang Xin again and said, "Let's eat."

Tang Xin was helpless to see Jin Taize's indifference to the world. She sighed and decided to explain everything in the afternoon when he went to work.

After breakfast and cleaning up, Jin Taize went to the bedroom to change his clothes. He told Tang Xin to look around the room and wait for him.

Tang Xin went to bed early last night. She was angry with Jin Taize and didn't take a good look at such a big house and how so many rooms were arranged. It was a rare opportunity for her to take this opportunity to appreciate what the mansion looked like.

Across from the living room was a spacious fitness room equipped with a variety of exercise equipment. Across from the room, Tang Xin couldn't help but gasp as she opened the door. The audio-visual room was decorated in a low-key yet luxurious style, its tranquil colors evoking a concert hall. Further in was the study, where a variety of books were neatly arranged on the shelves, with photography books and magazines predominating.

Tang Xin subconsciously glanced around the study and noticed the numerous photographs hanging on the walls. She was drawn in, admiring each one: tranquil, natural countryside scenes, visually striking urban landscapes, and vibrant, colorful scenic spots.

The study door was pushed open, and a man in a suit walked in while adjusting his tie. He saw the girl whose back curves were more distinct because her hands were hooked behind her back. She looked like a middle school student. The morning sunlight shone through her from one side, casting a circle of warm golden edges on her body.

"Let's go." Jin Taize stood not far from the door.

Tang Xin turned around, said "oh", and followed Jin Taize out.

After getting in the car, Jin Taize looked ahead and said, "Let's go buy shoes first."

Tang Xin looked down at her feet nestled in their slippers, pouted, and wiggled her toes. There was nothing she could do; strolling around the streets in slippers didn't look good, so she decided to let Jin Taize drive her away.

The sky after the rain is as clear as if it had been washed. The roadside green belts have been planted with seasonal flowers. Their delicate and juicy appearance adds a bit of natural beauty to the city of steel and concrete.

Tang Xin tilted her head and thought of the photography she had just seen in the study. She turned around and asked, "Do you like photography?"

Jin Taize nodded and said, "I used to like taking pictures when I wasn't busy."

Although Tang Xin is not an expert, she feels based on her intuition that the photos are able to reflect the vitality and interest of nature. The beautiful pictures make her feel longing, so they must be well taken.

"You took great photos." Tang Xin said sincerely.

Jin Taize glanced at her and asked, "Are you doing any research?"

"No, I just went by my feeling." Tang Xin smiled shyly and shook her head. She added, "You only took pictures of landscapes."

Jin Taize turned the steering wheel and reversed into the parking space, "Yes."

“Aren’t you taking photos of people?”

Jin Taize's hands paused before he straightened the steering wheel, studying Tang Xin for a moment. Tang Xin, believing she had said something wrong, stared at him with a puzzled look before uttering a few words, "I hardly ever film."

Tang Xin couldn't understand his sudden abnormality, but after thinking about it, it was normal. She looked at the man who opened the door and went down, and curled her lips.

Jin Taize chose a sports and leisure brand shoe store. The salesgirl was very enthusiastic when she saw the customer who came early in the morning.

Tang Xin was choosing in the women's shoes section when Jin Taize stood beside him. The saleswoman glanced at Jin Taize, stunned for a moment, then walked over and asked, "Is this for a young lady?"

Tang Xin turned around and said, "Yes, I'll wear it."

The saleswoman came over and picked up a pair of eye-catching women's shoes from a nearby store. She said with a smile, "This pair is new and sells very well."

Although the shoes looked nice, new models were bound to be expensive. Tang Xin thought it would be better to buy a discounted model that would last her a while. However, it would be a bit rude to refuse the shoes when they were offered to her, so she politely accepted them, thinking of a random excuse to refuse them.

"These two are a bit..." Tang Xin pretended to frown and study them, dragging out the last syllable.

The man took the shoes from her hand, fiddled with them for a while and said, "This pair is size 35, try it on."

Tang Xin, who was also staring at the shoes, suddenly raised her head to look at Jin Taize.

The salesgirl also took the opportunity to add, "Yes, you try it. Many customers like this style as soon as they try it on." As she spoke, she looked at Jin Taize again intentionally or unintentionally.
