Positive little sun, magical girl, I am awesome
Chapter 73: Practice more food
"Is it still like this, miss?" Bella lowered her head and skillfully bit off the cotton thread, then picked up the thing in her hand and showed it to Lilith who was practicing sword in the yard.
"Yeah, that's right! That's it, Bella, you're so awesome!" Lilith looked at the cute round-faced maid with starry eyes and praised her generously. Then she picked up the grain bag on the table and carefully poured the mung beans mixed with sand into the small grids that had not yet been sealed.
On a holiday afternoon, the black tea brewing on the small stove had begun to bubble, and the hot steam was slowly rising. Two little girls were sitting under the porch in the back garden, putting their little heads together and making sandbags.
"Your sandbags are getting heavier, miss." Bella sealed the openings of the bags tightly one by one, then picked them up and weighed them, feeling a little worried.
Lilith wrinkled her nose, a little distressed, "There's nothing I can do. Although I've caught up with the training progress in the past two months, I still feel that my strength is not enough and my endurance is also a little lacking, so I can only increase the amount of training myself."
Teacher Wolf now has strict requirements on Lilith, not allowing her to use magic during training except in magic defense class. As a result, when she occasionally meets Daniel in double training, it is always difficult for her to gain the upper hand, and each time the two of them end up in a mess.
She twisted her right arm quietly. Her arm was still sore and swollen from the impact when Daniel threw her to the ground during the fighting training yesterday. When she got up today and looked in the mirror, she saw that her entire back was bruised and purple, as expected.
If you are not good at it, practice more - Lilith remembered what she had said to Sean before. She didn't expect that the boomerang would hit her so soon. So she would get up early every morning to run around Mirror Lake a few times. On weekends, she would practice basic sword moves and steps repeatedly in her own yard, over and over again, without getting tired of it.
She picked up several sandbags that Bella had made and tested them on her legs and hands. "Fortunately, it's cold now, otherwise the sandbags would get bigger and bigger and wouldn't fit into my boots." Maybe I should consider replacing them with metal ones.
"...I think Count Taylor just wants you to be happy." The little maid was a little distressed. She had watched Miss Lilith come home with a bruised face every weekend, and she couldn't persuade her. She was always worried, not knowing whether Miss Lilith's decision was right or wrong.
"I'm very happy right now!" Lilith took the copper kettle of boiled black tea off the stove with a smile, preparing to pour it into the milk after it cooled down a little.
"Every day I feel myself getting stronger, and I know more and more spells. I gain something every day, isn't it worth being happy?" Lilith looked at the blue and pink hydrangeas in the garden and stretched her body. She cast a levitation spell and controlled the boiling copper kettle to pour black tea into cups of milk.
Bella opened her mouth, but finally compromised and skipped the topic: "...I want two candies, miss." Forget it, Miss Lilith must have her reasons for doing this.
When Bella finally finished her handicraft and Lilith finished her afternoon training, the two girls finally packed up and prepared to go out for dinner. Before going to the restaurant, they went to the tailor shop first.
Lilith's previous clothes were mostly made of soft and thin fabrics worn by aristocratic ladies, which could not withstand her daily falls. Many of them were worn and torn, so Lilith had been visiting the tailor shop frequently recently and ordered a lot of rough and thick clothes. Every time the owner of the tailor shop saw her, he would smile so hard that his eyes could not be seen.
"Look, Bella, I've really grown a little taller!" For a high-quality customer like her, the tailor would always measure her size again. The numbers on the paper recorded the changes in Lilith's body shape bit by bit. She looked at the tailor's records and showed them to Bella with a smile.
"Yes, but..." Bella hesitated, "Miss, you seem to be wearing only pants now." Miss Lilith's wardrobe is completely different from when she first came. Would Ram really not criticize her for taking care of Miss Lilith like this?
"You can't expect your lady to wrestle with others in a skirt." Lilith didn't care about all this. After measuring the sizes and putting the finished clothes into the ring, she took Bella out of the tailor shop.
"Eh? Miss, isn't that your classmate?" Just as she walked out of the store, the sharp-eyed Bella saw someone walking out of the store across the street and pointed it out to Lilith.
Lilith looked up and saw the eye-catching blue hair again. Lucas walked out of a shop with a very narrow door, stood at the bottom of the steps and turned around to talk to the owner. The man opposite was very mysterious. There was obviously not much daylight at this moment, but he still wore a hood, with only half of his chin exposed.
He raised his hand, revealing his old and shriveled skin, and slowly handed the blue-haired boy a bag of money and a bottle of potion, then returned to the store.
Lucas turned around and opened his purse impatiently, carefully checking whether there were enough coins in it.
"Have you found a new job, Lucas?" A familiar voice sounded in front of him. Lucas was so scared that he shuddered and almost dropped the potion bottle. He shook it several times with both hands before he finally caught it.
"Lilith! Please don't attack suddenly, it's scary." Lucas clenched the potion in both hands, breathed a sigh of relief with lingering fear, and then stuffed the purse and medicine bottle into the small bag on his waist.
"It's just a normal greeting, why do you feel so guilty?" Lilith raised her eyebrows. "Is he doing something deceptive again? I have to warn the owner."
"Oh, Miss Lilith, we are real classmates now. Can you please trust me more?" Lucas smiled again. "I have to go to work. See you next time." Then he left in a hurry.
Lilith curled her lips, didn't stop, and pulled Bella towards the reserved restaurant.
The small shop finally lit up with a dim candlelight, illuminating the notice posted on the glass in front of the door -
