Positive little sun, magical girl, I am awesome

Chapter 22: The Bishop Family Crest

"Miss, do I have to raise magical creatures to learn magic?" Bella asked pleadingly, her eyes full of tears as she grabbed Lilith's arm. She didn't want to help the young lady raise mice and cockroaches. Would the young lady dislike her for being useless?

"Probably... not necessary..." Lilith ran to the main street in one breath and stopped to catch her breath. "I suddenly feel that raising you alone is enough, Bella."

"Ms. Lilith..." Bella was very moved. The master and servant held hands and looked at each other in tears on the street. Lilith opened her mouth and thought this was a good opportunity to persuade Bella to rebel. She was about to brainwash Bella to forget Ram's instructions, but was suddenly pushed to the side of the road by the crowd. She held Bella tightly to prevent them from being dispersed, and looked at the street in confusion on tiptoe.

A team of cavalrymen in black armor appeared silently on the main road of Goletia, splitting the crowd on the street like a sharp blade and forcing them to the sides of the road. A young man nearby was also pushed over by the crowd and stepped on several times along the way. He grabbed his hair in frustration and complained to his companions, "What's wrong this year? Why are there always people showing off like this? Who are they trying to show off to by making such a big scene?"

After hearing this, Lilith looked at Bella guiltily. It seemed that her previous team was also quite large.

The boy was grabbed by his companion's neck and scolded, "Shut up, are you blind? Don't you recognize this?" He grabbed the boy's head and looked at the flag raised by the knight in front. The boy took a look and actually shut up. Lilith looked in the direction of the flag. On the black flag, a golden towering tree was printed on it. When the flag fluttered in the wind, it seemed as if its branches were stretching in the air. Lilith was very familiar with this symbol. It was printed on her almost worn-out copy of "A Brief History of Gaia".

It is the family crest of the Bishop family.

Lilith looked at the slowly passing carriage and realized that the person sitting inside was the current princess, Catherine Bishop. The future lord of the empire had really come to Goletia to report...

Seeing that the line of people was endless, Lilith decided that they could not walk along the main street. Fearing a stampede, she pulled Bella close to the wall and slid into an alley, heading to another street. There were many people in the alley who wanted to avoid the crowds like them. Lilith walked slowly, listening quietly to the discussions of the people around her.

"What are the people from the Bishop family doing here? Goletia is a free city-state and is not under the jurisdiction of the Gaia Empire." A female voice came from behind Lilith's ear.

"Who knows? I heard that Duke Bishop's wife was once Gloria's teacher before she got married. Maybe that lady came back to visit an old friend." Another young man behind her answered casually, seemingly a friend who was traveling with the girl.

"I've seen quite a few aristocratic young masters and young ladies acting pretentiously when the new students reported in these few days. I don't know what's going on this year." The girl said with disdain.

"Alas... it was the same when the Guardian reported in here. Several young masters asked us where the rooms for the grooms and maids were located." The young man replied with a sigh, triggering tacit laughter from the people around him.

"Has the Church of Light raised the admission standards? Otherwise, why would these noble young masters and young ladies condescend to come to Gloria?" the girl asked doubtfully.

"Who knows? I just hope there are no activities for freshmen this year. Otherwise, we will be the ones in trouble." The two stopped dwelling on this topic and started discussing where to go for dinner in the evening.

Lilith walked in silence, deeply feeling the huge information gap between the common people and the nobles. Even though the princess is now struggling in High Court, many nobles inside and outside High Court have heard the news and want to bet on both sides, secretly sending their children to the princess to gamble on that little possibility. And these children around them don't even know that Catherine is going to school in Goletia. Now think about it, she grew up in Shelley Town without knowing anything, and it's not her fault. Information is a precious resource, and in this era, it is all firmly in the hands of the nobles.

She thought of the boxes of Philosopher's Stone at home. Hoffman had introduced them to her during their travels. Philosopher's Stone was very hard and could easily cut glass and gemstones. Therefore, the mining process was very complicated. It needed to be heated to extremely high temperatures and cracked with special techniques. Naturally, the annual output was not very high. The ones in Lilith's house would probably account for a large proportion of the annual output. It was impossible for her father, James Fryer, to not know that such an astonishing number of Philosopher's Stones were sent to her. It was even possible that it was his instruction. Even her father, who hated her, couldn't help but want to try her out on her, hoping to gain the credit of becoming king...

Humph--

The bad party will never give in! Catherine is a person who looks like a heroine. If someone with ulterior motives gets close to her, she might be crushed by the heroine's halo. The safest way is to stay away from her, so as to ensure that her passerby character does not fall. Even Melissa, who treats her so well, did not think of relying on her to get close to Catherine, but her cheap father dreamed of it, wishful thinking! Lilith pouted in disgust.

Finally, they walked out of the alley and entered another street in the city. There didn't seem to be any special magic shops here. Lilith and Bella went into every shop aimlessly and bought a lot of daily necessities. They returned home with a full load at sunset.

"Huh - finally home, sweet home -" Lilith cheered with a red face, finally put down the goods that hurt her hands, and turned back to take the various pots and pans in Bella's hands. Bella was very embarrassed, "Miss, I should go back to drive the carriage, you have more things than me..."

Lilith wiped the sweat off her forehead indifferently, shook her head and said, "That's such a waste of time. Besides, I've been strong since I was young, isn't it normal for me to take more?" She piled all the things on the floor of the hallway and fanned the air. "It's almost September and it's still so hot. I have to take a shower. You don't have to cook tonight. Let's go to the store we went to for lunch." Seeing Bella nod happily, Lilith also smiled and went to her bathroom upstairs.

After entering the bathroom, Lilith took care of her personal problems first, then stood up, turned on the faucet and washed her hands - huh???

Lilith froze for a minute and took a few steps back. If she was not mistaken, these two things seemed to be called toilet and faucet... Lilith rubbed her eyes fiercely. What was going on? Did I wear it back? She took a breath and suddenly opened the door of the bathroom. The corridor on the second floor was silent... Still in her own small building, she could vaguely hear the crisp sound of Bella sorting out the porcelain downstairs...

Lilith closed the door silently and sat on the toilet to relieve her dizziness. She had just completed the set of movements purely by muscle memory when she entered the room, and only realized something was wrong when she was washing her hands.

She looked at the shower pipe exposed behind the shower curtain and was speechless. She had never seen such a thing in either Shelley Town or Tanding County. How come Gloria chose a set of technology trees on her own and kept it a secret? ?

Even if you have come to an imaginary world, you guys are playing too wildly!

wrong--

She took a deep breath. With the amount of novels she had read, she could boldly guess that this place... was likely to have a senior who had traveled through time!!
