Positive little sun, magical girl, I am awesome

Chapter 20 Mother's Love is Like a Mountain

After walking on the wide main road in the city for about 20 minutes, Lilith's team finally stopped.

After Bella helped Lilith down from the carriage, she couldn't help but stretch herself. She looked around. This was a very large circular square. There was a huge pool in the center of the square. A mermaid sculpture stood on the pool. The rootless water slowly flowed down the sculpture's tail fin, bringing a cool breeze. There was a simple table in front of the pool. An old man was throwing bread crumbs into the pool out of boredom behind the table.

Lilith looked at the Knight Commander inquiringly, and he nodded, indicating that this was the registration point for magic students.

Lilith walked forward, took out her acceptance letter from the small bag on her waist, placed it on the table, and coughed lightly.

The old man turned around and was startled by the huge team behind Lilith. Then he raised the letter, glanced at it and said perfunctorily, "Go inside."

Lilith: "..." Is this the admission procedure? Is that the end? Aren't they afraid of fake daughters, imposters, etc.?

However, before she could ask any questions, the stubborn Bella had already helped her to move forward. She sighed helplessly, but when she turned around, she saw another street corner on the right, where there were about a few hundred people standing densely, with colorful heads constantly surging. A man who looked like a teacher stood on the table next to her and shouted something at the top of his lungs. It seemed that he was directing order.

"Teacher, what kind of students are they accepting over there?" Lilith couldn't help but ask the old man. Why is it so much busier than here?

The old man glanced at Lilith and said, "Don't be curious, little girl. They are recruiting guardians there. It's too hard and not suitable for a noble lady like you."

——Guardian? Lilith tilted her head. It was another new word she had never heard of. But she was not in a hurry to get to the bottom of it. She still had many years to live in this city and had plenty of time to explore.

She took Bella's arm and strolled through the city, watching the boys and girls playing and laughing coming and going. She was infected by their happy mood and couldn't help but smile. Lilith was very happy. Although the process was a bit tortuous, she was pushed into the door of the magic world by the hand of fate. This world finally had some magical elements.

After walking for a while, she saw the iron gate in front of her, which was guarded by two huge mermaid sculptures. On both sides were iron railings that stretched to the end of the invisible road, covered with dense rose plants, making it impossible for people standing outside the wall to see the scenery inside the wall. Looking at the bustling crowd at the gate, Lilith realized that she had finally arrived at the main campus of Goletia.

Lilith was familiar with the following process, collecting textbooks, class schedules, and drawing dormitories. But Lilith didn't have time to familiarize herself with the campus, so she quickly asked the Knight Commander to find a house in the city. Because the person who managed the dormitory... um, that strange cat, got furry when Bella approached, and after a burst of squeaking, he knocked on the dormitory rules under his body. Lilith leaned over and saw: No servants are allowed, and those who hide servants in the dormitory will be expelled.

……

Fortunately, the "money" ability is very useful no matter where you are. The Knight Commander did not let Lilith wait too long, and came to pick her and Bella up with the house documents.

Lilith pinched Bella's little face and said, "Bella, you have to be nice to me. In order to have a place to accommodate you, I have to buy a house."

Honest Bella blushed and hugged the sword case tightly. "I won't be lazy, miss. I will always keep the house clean."

The knight who was leading the way also turned around and joined the conversation. "It's not bad to have a house, miss. At least this time, you have a place to put the luggage that your ladyship prepared for you." He pointed to the five freight carriages following behind.

Lilith sighed. This was the simplified version after she had always emphasized to Melissa that she didn't need to bring too much stuff, and that she could slowly add more stuff when she got there. In the end, several carriages were still filled. Fortunately, they had enough manpower, and the five carriages were unloaded in a short time.

The Knight Commander came in and checked every door and window to see if they were secure. He even checked the cellar carefully before returning to the living room to say goodbye to Lilith.

Lilith stood up and returned the greeting very seriously, expressing her sincere gratitude. "Thank you for your efforts this time. I will remember your hard work and the noble character of the Taylor Knights. Please send my blessings to my mother, and hope that she will be in good health." Although she wanted to do her best to be a good host and entertain these diligent knights, there were too many people. Although her new house was well located in a quiet alley only one street away from the campus, it was indeed a little small, just an ordinary two-story house with a small back garden. If she wanted to entertain the Knights, they might have to sit on the street.

The Knight Commander nodded, put on his helmet, and turned around to go out and form a team without delay. Lilith stood on the stone steps at the door, watched them leave, and then turned back to the house.

Bella was already busy. Perhaps Lilith's teasing words had put a lot of pressure on her. She had already picked up her rag and started to scrub from top to bottom in the living room. Lilith smiled helplessly and said, "Bella, take a break. I was just teasing you. I will definitely buy a house regardless of whether there are dormitory rules or not." This was true. When she was in Shelley Town, she lived in the Shelley family's house, and in Tanding County, she lived in the Friar family's house. She always wanted to have a house of her own, which was a small obsession.

She looked around the house. The wallpaper was a little patchy, and it didn't match the new furniture. The grass in the backyard had grown taller than her calves. There were a lot of details that needed to be fixed. But fortunately, she had a home, her own home. She believed that if she took care of it slowly, it would become a warm and sweet haven.

"I'm so hungry! Stop busying myself. I'll go change my clothes and prepare to go out to eat with your lady." Lilith went upstairs with her skirt. She thought there would be a formal entrance ceremony, so she dressed extra formally today. But the academic staff only saw an old man and a cat throughout the whole process. It made her outfit look a little ridiculous. She thought of the boys and girls on the street who were dressed casually and simply, and decided to find a pair of light pants to wear.

The layout of the second floor was very simple. Lilith's master bedroom took up a large proportion, and the study and guest bedroom were squeezed into the corner. There was also a very spacious cloakroom hidden in the master bedroom. The knights put most of the boxes here so that she could pack them up later.

Lilith opened the first box and looked through it. Hmm, skirts, skirts, and skirts. She opened the second box and found cloaks, fox furs, and deerskin boots. This box seemed to be full of winter clothes. She opened the third box and—“Pop!”

Lilith instantly closed the box again. She blinked, wondering if she was dazzled. She took a deep breath and opened the top of the box again.

The room was full of light. Lilith was not mistaken, this was a whole box of blue or green magic stones.

Lilith stood up silently and continued to unpack, one box, two boxes, three boxes... After finally unpacking another box of clothes, Lilith fell down in the halo of light created by the reflection of the magic stones and took a deep breath. The fifteen boxes of magic stones, refracted repeatedly by the mirrors in the cloakroom, created a blue and green dreamy atmosphere in the entire cloakroom, making Lilith feel as if she was in an underwater world.

"Miss, do you need help?" Bella wiped her hands and came up to see if Lilith needed help, but she saw her mistress slumped in the middle of a pile of boxes filled with stones. She hurried over to help her up. "Miss, what's wrong with you? Are you suffering from heatstroke?"

Lilith still hadn't recovered. She held Bella's hand and said sincerely, "Bella, I don't want to struggle anymore." She didn't have to be a magician. She immediately had the urge to pack up these boxes and return to Shelley Town to start her retirement life.

Bella was a little panicked. She looked at the boxes of strangely colored stones and was sweating with anxiety. "Miss, our luggage has been replaced by someone? Don't be afraid. I will go and catch up with the Knight Commander to investigate." She stood up and prepared to go out.

Lilith quickly grasped Bella's hand and waved her fingers in front of her eyes in confusion, "Stone? Bella, can't you see the light?" Anyone with a little common sense should be able to see the extraordinaryness of these glittering magic stones. Could Bella be blue-green color blind?

"There is no light, miss. You must have heatstroke. I'll go get you a glass of water." Bella touched Lilith's forehead and wanted to pull her up from the ground.

Lilith realized belatedly, "Oh, you can't see it..." She finally realized that these lights might be the product of the overflow of magical elements, and Bella, as an ordinary person, could not see it.

"I'm fine! Bella, these are not stones, they are all my treasures~" Lilith smiled like a kitten who had successfully stolen some fish. She stood up with the help of Bella, and hugged the cute maid, "Please help me find a light top and pants, I'll go to the study to check." She remembered that some boxes were still placed there.

There were a dozen boxes placed in the corner of the study. Lilith opened them one by one with great joy. There were only two boxes containing magic stones, and the others were coins, gold and silver. She grabbed a handful and couldn't help but sigh. So this is how Melissa thought of simplifying the gift. Woohoo, mother's love is like a mountain. She likes it so much!
