Positive little sun, magical girl, I am awesome

Chapter 2 Where is my golden finger?

Yes, Lilith, or the former Lily, has been slowly digesting and reviewing her memories every day recently. She used to be a well-known college student in China. Apart from attending classes, she would watch TV series and read novels every day. She was as ordinary as can be.

I still remember that at that time I was facing the deadline for my thesis, I only slept four hours a day, and worked tirelessly to create my own academic work. After handing in the assignment, I couldn't help but lie down in the quiet library and take a good nap.

She had no memory of anything after that. By the time she remembered these things from her past life, she had already lived as Lilith in this unknown world, in a country called the Gaia Empire, for twelve years.

She clearly has the memory of being Lilith, and all actions and memories are under her control. However, as Lily's memory, she also believes that it is not hysteria, but that she really lived in a world full of steel forests.

She firmly believed that Lily was the real her. She clearly remembered her friends, classmates, and most importantly, her mother, the kind-hearted mother who always put her taste first when cooking and doted on her.

But in this world, Lilith has no mother. Her biological mother died in childbirth. Because of this, Lilith's father, the noble gentleman, seemed unable to face this daughter who killed his wife, and sent Lilith to his deceased wife's hometown to live alone, out of sight and out of mind.

So Lilith firmly believes that Lily must be the real herself, and where her mother is is her home.

"So how can I get home?" Lilith muttered to herself in her mind with her eyes open.

"According to the nature of general stories, since I traveled through time, there must be a main story or something, right? Am I here to save the protagonist, the supporting characters, or the world? Am I here to be the villain? Is this a book or a different world? I can't just travel through time to be a small town girl. Shouldn't I be able to successfully return home and own a mansion and handsome men after completing some tasks? Eh? Where's my cheat code?"

Lily even had an idea and whispered "System?"

…………

Five minutes passed and there was no response except the crackling sound of rain outside the window.

"Aaaaaaaaa." Lily hugged the quilt and rolled over on the bed in embarrassment. "What! Time-travel novels are harmful to people!"

After venting her useless anger, Lilith numbly patted her face and continued to think about life. She was just a child who had just turned twelve years old. There was no NPC that came from nowhere to assign her tasks. She didn't even think about going home. The biggest problem now was how to survive in this strange world...

Yes, this strange world is somewhat different from what Lilith knew. It seems a bit... magical.

Lilith thought of the magical creatures she encountered when she was a child in the forest near the town. The noisy goblins who loved to bask in the sun, the shy mushroom people who always hid in the cracks of the stones, and the strange crow with a third eye on its forehead who liked shiny jewelry. All of these clearly showed Lilith that she had come to an extraordinary other world.

And it's not just these creatures that are strange, but also herself...

Before her memories were awakened, Lilith was a devout believer in the God of Light, and she even showed miraculous talents at an early age. When she was eight years old, during a choir practice, Lilith sang the hymns of the God of Light devoutly, and spots of light suddenly emerged from her body, shocking everyone in the church.

The pastor of the church, Mr. Aldington, was also very surprised and happily told her that this was a manifestation of God's favor. She must have an affinity with light elements and may become a great priest or even a saint in the future. Mary fainted on the spot with excitement. From then on, everyone in Shelley Town knew that Miss Lilith Fryer was a God's favored person who would enter the Church of Light in the future.

Lilith was very proud of this talent. She kept recalling the feeling she had in the choir, trying to recreate her ability. Gradually, she was able to steadily condense a ball of light in her hand. This ball of light could attract small creatures in the forest, and slowly Lilith became friends with them.

But... after Lilith gradually awakened her memories of her past life in the past few days, she was horrified to find that this magical ability had disappeared.

She could no longer condense the wonderful ball of light as she did instinctively, and the goblins and the gnomes who used to follow her up and down the forest no longer responded during this weekend's forest adventure, no matter how Lilith called and tempted them. Only when Lilith turned her head occasionally could she see them hiding in the dark, quietly observing her.

...Why is this happening? Is it related to her time travel? Lilith frowned and thought.

It was clear that the priests sent by the temple would come to Shelley Town to baptize her and take her to High Court soon. Why did she lose her magical power at this time? What should she do? Lilith covered her head in annoyance. If she was rejected at the last minute, Mary would be very sad.

However, the child's body could not survive the night. Even though Lilith was worried, she soon fell into a deep sleep to the sound of rain.
