The Romantic Life of a Goblin

Chapter 6 Daily Life of the Goblin Leader and His Servants

In the Force, the goblin can "see" on the ground outside the cave, tender green sprouts of flowers and plants breaking through the soil, branches and leaves stretching and growing, blooming and bearing fruits, then withering and decaying, and returning to the soil again to give birth to new life.

Rocks, rivers, sky, plants, animals, life, death, everything is connected in the grand and majestic Force, flowing slowly, balancing and circulating, bringing peace and tranquility. This is the bright side of the Force.

In the Force, the goblins also clearly "saw" the past of this cave, the rough rock walls, the dim and dirty dungeons, groups of crazy goblins howling, fighting, competing for food scraps, biting the corpses of prey, and violating the looted women.

Violence, anger, fear, excitement, desire and joy, strong emotions are entangled in every living thing, and the intense emotions rise and fall like flames.

The depths of the cave are shrouded in darkness. The shadows come from the slaves who were once violated. They are full of numbness and indifference, but darker than cruelty, like the despair of the abyss. This is the dark side of the Force.

Between them was a balance of warmth and cold, the Force, and within the goblins themselves was that same Force.

In his perception, the Force was like the ocean, surrounding Alan, fluctuating yet calm and peaceful.

He could feel that the Force did not always seem to be so smooth and slow.

Some places seem to be denser, like icebergs condensed together, while other places flow violently, rolling and colliding like whirlpools.

Alan knew that these were the nodes of the Force, and the nearest one was himself. The Force was wrapped around him like floating ice on the sea, but inside the crystal, there was a flame burning.

This is the Force, Alan learned this fact, and the Force is with him.

Alan felt that he could control the Force, just like the Jedi and Sith in the movies. Although he was not familiar with this power, it was finally a powerful golden finger that gave him the capital to survive in this alien world.

There was a noise coming from the cave entrance, and Alan realized that quite a bit of time had passed. It was already dawn outside, and the other cubs and the adult goblins who had gone out hunting and gathering food had all returned.

There were about thirteen or fourteen goblins in total. The adult goblins were slightly larger in size. The tallest one was the leader of the tribe. He was more sturdy than the other goblins, but was probably only about 1.5 meters tall.

Several goblins were carrying a huge musk deer, and the others also caught a few fish. It seemed like a big harvest. This deer alone was enough to feed a whole pack of goblins for three or four days.

The old goblin and the other cubs abandoned their slaves and gathered around their leader, making a lot of noise. They were all hungry after their exercise.

Then it was time for dinner. After skinning the deer, the leader used a stone axe to remove a deer leg and grilled it separately. The fish, insects, mushrooms and other things were stewed in a pot. The goblins began to scramble for food around the pottery pot around the fire.

Goblins like Allen, who had just reached adulthood, and the old goblins who were guarding the house, had no share of the barbecue. They only got a bowl of soup with a few bugs and chopped mushrooms floating in it.

The leader and several other strong goblins sat on the rocks inside and ate the roasted deer legs. They threw out the remaining bones, and the goblins below scrambled for them, tearing the remaining meat, tendons and marrow on the bones.

Alan did not join in the fun, but just followed the local custom and drank a bowl of soup. Perhaps it was because his sense of taste was different after his body turned into a goblin, he unexpectedly found that the mushroom, insect and fish soup tasted quite delicious.

He could try hard to control his desires, but he couldn't control his appetite, or at the moment there was no other food for him to choose from. If he didn't eat, he would starve to death, so he had to eat, and he could eat it, and it tasted pretty good.

After eating, several goblins rushed into the inner cave in a noisy manner, and the atmosphere in the cave became lively for a while.

……

Alan tried hard to control the influence of his blood instinct and suppress the strong impulse deep in his heart.

His reason told him that in this world full of danger and uncertainty, survival was more important than satisfying momentary desires.

Especially considering his current weak physical condition, ensuring his own safety is undoubtedly the top priority.

Time passed by minute by minute, and it seemed like a long time had passed. Allen Goblin quietly observed the lively scene around him, and couldn't help feeling a little sleepy.

He realized that such a life was too monotonous and boring. There was little to do every day except eating, playing poker with the slaves, and occasionally sleeping and daydreaming.

Just as he was lost in thought, the old goblin who had been offended by him suddenly came over with the goblin leader.

Without saying a word, they reached out to grab Allen.
