Pokémon cross over into the real world

Wang Qiyi and Wang Lingqi took to the air together on a Pidgeot. This Pidgeot was just an ordinary flying Pokémon, not very fast, but it was gentle and easy to control. The Pokémon Cult had mobilized about 5000 human trainers, all riding Flying-type Pokémon, forming a vast aerial force.

As the 5000-strong aerial force swept towards Palu City, trainers on the ground felt an overwhelming pressure that blotted out the sky. Trainers with Flying-type Pokémon immediately dispatched their Flying-types to intercept them, escalating the battle once again.

In the early stages of this war among Pokémon trainers, it's a battle of Pokémon skills. Once the two sides collide, neither side can care about the other, and everyone fights for themselves. There will also be well-coordinated teams of trainers forming large-scale battles, but it's much more intense than real-world arena battles. At least there are no restrictions on the arena or the prohibition against harming trainers, and both sides will use any means necessary.

Although both sides tacitly refrained from using any firearms in this war, it didn't preclude the use of melee weapons. So, some trainers donned armor, wielding steel swords and blades, and charged into battle alongside their Pokémon. Of course, this was only in low-level matches; some low-level Pokémon couldn't even defeat fully armed humans wielding melee weapons. But in high-level matches, humans were utterly useless; a single tap from a Pokémon could kill a whole group.

Wang Qiyi rode his Pidgeot across the battlefield towards his mission objective: to assist Womi in destroying the signal tower in the city center. Meanwhile, the resistance had also discerned the Pokémon Cult's intentions and had deployed heavy forces to guard the area. At least five legendary trainers and no fewer than ten legendary Pokémon were gathered there. Fortunately, the legendary Zandso was temporarily held back by a school of legendary fish, Wishiwashi, arriving from the sea.

"Damn it! How come there are so many legendary trainers!" Womi circled in the air on his Pokémon and found himself unable to find a way to attack. The hundreds of holy warriors following him threw out Poké Balls and joined the battle, but their Pokémon were easily defeated by the dozen or so legendary Pokémon below. They couldn't organize an effective attack, let alone destroy the tower.

Womi has three legendary Pokémon, primarily Dark-type: Mightyena, Krookodile, and Feraligatr. He plans to take advantage of the ground resistance being tied down by other Pokémon, then approach the tower and unleash his own Pokémon. He believes that if all three legendary Pokémon unleash Hyper Beam at the tower together, they will surely destroy it.

Suddenly, a Vulpixel attacked from behind—it was the Pokémon of a legendary trainer below. The Vulpixel was relentlessly pursuing him, seemingly faster than his Pidgeot, and was about to be caught. Just as Womi was about to throw a Poké Ball, he heard a clap of thunder. Turning around, he saw the relentlessly pursuing Vulpixel crashing to the ground, its body charred black.

A yellow Pikachu, crackling with electricity, swept across the battlefield, leaving no room for resistance in its wake, tearing apart the rebel lines in an instant. A figure riding a Pidgeot swooped down, preceded by a Cinnamon. The Cinnamon had a strange device in its mouth, from which bullets rapidly fired, like those from a heavy machine gun on a fighter jet. Many Pokémon fell to the ground when hit, and some trainers were struck, their bodies pierced and spraying blood mist.

"It's him!" Womi realized. Wasn't this the talent Bishop Robin had sent? Truly remarkable. But was the Chinchilla's skill an Elf skill? It looked so much like a modern firearm!

He didn't care about anything else and charged straight towards the iron tower. Three Pokémon emerged from their Poké Balls one after another, and no one tried to stop them, as most Pokémon had been intercepted by Wang Qiyi's Pikachu and Cinnabar.

With a deafening roar, the towering iron tower was struck by the Hyper Beams unleashed by three Pokémon. Even with its exceptional sturdiness, the tower couldn't withstand the relentless bombardment from three legendary Pokémon. Once the foundation at its base was loosened, coupled with Krookodile's Earthquake move, the tower finally succumbed to gravity and collapsed.

"This is bad!" Seeing the tall iron tower in the distance completely collapse and crush the surrounding buildings, Zandso knew something was wrong. "Gillfish Dragon, I'll leave this place to you. I'll go to the iron tower to provide support!" With that, he rode his mount, the Great King Swallow, and flew towards the iron tower.

The Gilldra is currently engaged in a fierce battle with a massive school of Wishiwashi. It would be no match for the Gilldra alone, as it is surrounded by over ten legendary Pokémon providing support and buffs, while some of the Wishiwashi are engaging in skirmishes to distract it. The two have been battling for over an hour, both sides suffering significant fatigue.

Once a Pokémon on the rebel side loses its ability to fight, it retreats to recover, and reinforcements immediately take its place. In this way, defeating the swarm of Wishiwashi is only a matter of time. However, Zando has now left, taking several of his main Pokémon with him, and the battle has once again reached a stalemate.

"Retreat! Mission accomplished! Retreat immediately!" Bishop Womi shouted. He knew that the collapse of the iron tower would attract the attention of the entire battlefield, and all the rebels would rush towards them. If they were surrounded, they would truly have no way to escape. The giant iron tower base station was not completely destroyed; they would still be repairing it. As long as the Elven Church launched another attack before they finished repairing it, they believed that the city of Palu would be captured soon.

“Bishop Womi, do you think that person is the legendary trainer Zandso?” Wang Qiyi flew to Womi’s side and asked.

Womi nodded: "It's him, let's retreat."

“Bishop, why not take him down now? His trump card, the Gillfish Dragon, is currently being held back by the dominant Weasel Dragon and is not by his side.”

“Besides his ace, the ichthyosaur, he also has three near-legendary specimens. We are no match for him.”

“Bishop, let me lead the charge. I'll hold off his Pokémon while you launch a surprise attack on him. Once you capture the trainer alive, his Pokémon will be useless.”

"I already told you he has three near-legendary trainers. No matter how strong your Pokémon are, they're no match for near-legendary ones. There are also more than ten legendary trainers around. Once we're surrounded, we won't be able to escape!" Bishop Womi shouted. He really wanted to slap him. How could anyone disobey orders in a war? The commander-in-chief ordered a retreat, but the soldiers shouted to charge. Regardless of whether that person was talented or not, they would definitely be court-martialed when they got back!

"The spirit god will protect us!" Wang Qiyi said, riding his Pidgeot to meet them, displaying the complete devotion of a fanatical believer. Womi ignored him, turned around, mounted his Pidgeot, and rode away; this guy was probably going to be captured by the rebels.

Just as he was piloting his Pidgeot high into the sky, thinking he had escaped the encirclement, he glanced back and was immediately dumbfounded. There stood Wang Qiyi's two Pokémon, Pikachu and Cinnabar, along with Wang Lingqi's Gengar, the three Pokémon holding their own against Zandso's three main forces.

Starmie, Dewprika, and Steelix face off against Pikachu, Cinnamoroll, and Gengar, respectively. Gengar is the weakest of the three, but it doesn't engage in direct combat; instead, it stays on the periphery, providing support and using Hypnosis Pulse and Spectral Beam to disrupt its opponent.

Pikachu is incredibly fast, making it impossible for its opponents to hit it, and its Electric-type moves are super effective against the three opposing Pokémon. Given Pikachu's strength, a single Electric Shot could easily defeat all three. However, Wang Qiyi had instructed it to hold back and not reveal its full power, which is why it had been stalling for so long. But Pikachu's relaxed demeanor clearly shows it wasn't using its full strength; its acting deserves a low rating.

Cinnamo was a better actor and didn't appear as relaxed, but its Grass-type move Seed Bomb was super effective against its opponents, causing the three opposing Pokémon to flee in terror. Zandso hadn't expected these seemingly ordinary Pokémon to be so powerful, and his three main fighters were being held back. Fortunately, several legendary trainers were on their way, and once they formed an encirclement, the Pokémon Cult followers would have no chance of escape.

"Bishop Womi, should we retreat or go down to rescue them!" A holy warrior asked, seeing Bishop Womi suddenly stop in mid-air and look down at Wang Qiyi and Wang Lingqi, who were gradually being surrounded.
