God's Gift

Chapter 552 Reunion (3)

Lu Keming nodded, sat down next to Yu Youyou, pulled her into his arms, and rested his chin on her shoulder.

“Anthony’s bloodline ended ten thousand years ago. Fang Zi’ang left no descendants. Godot…”

The warm yellow light shone on him and Yu Youyou, and the firewood in the fireplace crackled and popped. In the cozy room, Lu Keming told their story in detail, and Yu Youyou sat in his lap listening attentively.

After a long while, she turned to look at Lu Keming, reached out and touched his cheek, and whispered:

"Mingming, you must have been very lonely these past few years."

Lu Keming stopped speaking, looked down at Yu Youyou, his gaze unfocused, and his breathing gradually became heavy.

The next second, a kiss landed without warning.

He turned Yu Youyou around, holding her in his arms, and pushed her onto the soft bed. His wet kisses continued downwards, tinged with cowardly hesitation and panic.

His warm, rapid breaths landed on Yu Youyou's skin, raising goosebumps. Her body trembled, and she tried to move away, but Lu Keming pulled her back.

A slight pain enveloped Lu Keming. He gasped, reached out and wrapped his arms around Yu Youyou's waist, burying his head in her neck once more.

Her soft, warm skin pressed against him, as if repeating to him: she was real, not just a fantasy he had had countless times.

She was no longer the butterfly he could not catch in his dreams.

She really did return to his side.

This realization brought tears to Lu Keming's eyes as he trembled.

Yu Youyou bit his shoulder in pain, but the pain only made Lu Keming more aware of his surroundings. He cradled her head and whispered:

"Take a bigger bite, Yoyo."

Yu Youyou suddenly stopped what she was doing, and looked at Lu Keming while panting.

Lu Keming's eyes were misty with tears, which welled up from his reddened eyes and slid down his cheeks, each drop landing on her chest.

Yu Youyou sighed and raised her hands to hug Lu Keming tightly.

Everything was over, and Yu Youyou was so tired that she was about to fall asleep.

Lu Keming, however, was still wide awake. He leaned against her back, his fingers twirling her hair, and kissing her shoulder blades like a little fish.

Yu Youyou, driven by the incessant itching, moved to the other side of the bed, only to be gently pulled into Lu Keming's arms. Holding her, he pleaded softly:

"Right here, Youyou."

Yu Youyou, whose consciousness was already blurred, listened to his pleas and stopped moving again in a daze. She reached out and touched Lu Keming's chin, and then slowly shrank into his arms.

Lu Keming looked at Yu Youyou, who was nestled in his arms, his heart pounding, his consciousness floating as if about to take flight, and an indescribable sense of satisfaction filled him.

His body was extremely tired, but he still stubbornly stared at her, as if the treasure he had finally found would disappear if he closed his eyes.

"Go to sleep..." After Lu Keming stared intently at Yu Youyou for a long time, he reached out a hand to his back and gently stroked him.

Lu Keming reluctantly placed a kiss on Youyou's lips, then slowly closed his eyes and drifted into a sweet dream.

-

As dawn broke through the window, a chill seeped into the bed, and Lu Keming suddenly woke up, his gaze instinctively turning to the side.

The seat next to me was already cold and empty, just like always.

Lu Keming's heart sank. He quickly got up, put on his clothes, and left the bedroom.

He searched through the vast castle, but the deserted castle was as lifeless as ever. His heart sank deeper and deeper as he walked until he reached the main hall, where Yu Youyou's clear voice finally reached his ears.

"Ye Yucheng, how come you can't even hold a water glass? Sister Ali was already a force to be reckoned with at your age."

A boy's childish voice rang out, "Fairy sister, who exactly is this Sister Ali you're talking about? Why do you always compare me to her..."

Lu Keming stopped outside the hall, looking at Yu Youyou standing inside. His chest heaved again, and oxygen finally returned to his lungs.

Yu Youyou's voice kept going: "It's your ancestor!"

Ye Yucheng spoke again: "Fairy sister, you can say whatever you want, why are you scolding me!"

"Who insulted you? She really is your ancestor!" Yu Youyou rolled her eyes, watching the water glass fall from the sky again, and waved her hand in exasperation.

"Never mind, I'm tired."

Lu Keming stepped forward from behind and thoughtfully offered her a glass of warm water, saying, "No rush, Youyou."

When Ye Yucheng saw Lu Keming approaching, she stopped clinging to Yu Youyou like she had in the morning and quickly turned and slipped away.

"Fairy Sister, Divine Messenger, I suddenly remembered I have class soon. I have to go now, bye-bye!"

Yu Youyou rubbed her shoulders and complained, "He's nothing like Ali and Brother Minghua."

As she spoke, a deer appeared in the banquet hall: "Humans are generally more mischievous during their childhood, and you were even more mischievous than him in your early years."

"Forrest, why do you say that?" Yu Youyou looked at Forrest, her expression disagreeing: "I'm fine too."

Lu Keming's eyes crinkled as he thought of what Youyou had done when she was little, and he chuckled softly.

A bird perched on Youyou's head, its voice clear and melodious, like singing: "At least he won't eat the ship."

"Heaven knows how surprised I was when I first saw you devour the ship, but that's how your Oshi clan has always been."

Lu Keming then took a closer look at the bird. It looked like a parrot, about a meter long, with purplish-blue feathers that shimmered with a lustrous sheen.

Skye looked at Lu Keming, elegantly preened her tail feathers, and stepped on Yu Youyou's head with her foot:

"Oshi, aren't you going to introduce us to your lover?"
