Snape picked up Reina and placed her on the sofa in his office. He turned and walked towards Lockhart. He said coldly, "Fortunately, she just fainted. You'd better pray that you are not involved. I will keep an eye on you."

Lockhart felt an inexplicable sense of oppression and swallowed unconsciously.

"But my cat was killed! She's dead!" Filch collapsed in his chair and cried in pain.

Dumbledore put the cat on the table and was leaning over Norris to observe it carefully. McGonagall was also bending over to check. Harry and Ron were sitting next to the candlestick, Hermione was sitting near Rena, and Snape also walked forward, looking at Harry, staring at Lockhart, and glancing at Rena from time to time.

Lockhart walked up to Mrs. Norris and expressed his views, trying to divert Snape's attention. He talked a lot, but no one seemed to listen.

Dumbledore straightened up and whispered, "It's not dead yet, Filch."

Only then did Lockhart stop.

"Not dead? But she's completely stiff and cold." Filch stopped crying.

"It's petrified." ("Ha! I knew it!" Lockhart's background voice) Dumbledore pushed up his glasses. "As for why, I'm afraid..."

"Ask him!" screamed Filch, pointing at Harry.

"It's impossible for a second-year student to do this. It requires the most advanced dark magic." Dumbledore said affirmatively.

"Look at what he wrote on the wall!" Filch spat excitedly. "He...he knows I'm a Squib!"

"I've never touched Mrs. Norris! And I don't know what a Squib is!" Harry stood up suddenly.

Filch: "Nonsense!"

"Please allow me to say something." Snape stood in the shadows and his expression could not be seen clearly.

"Maybe they were just in the wrong place at the wrong time, like Talros who didn't show up at the party but fainted in Professor Lockhart's office?" he said contemptuously.

"So that means we should look for those suspicious places. For example, why are you in the corridor?" He took two steps forward and walked out of the shadows, still with no expression on his face.

So Harry, Ron and Hermione all told about Nick's Deathday party, and the ghost there could testify for them.

"Then why don't you go back to the banquet in the first floor lobby?"

"Because—because we want to go back to bed."

"Not eating? Ghost banquets shouldn't provide human food, right?"

"We're not hungry!" Ron said loudly, but his stomach growled and slapped him in the face.

"Headmaster, I don't think Potter has been honest. Perhaps he should pay a little price."

"Really, Professor Snape?" McGonagall retorted, "But there is absolutely no evidence that he did anything wrong."

"Ugh—" A groaning sound came from the sofa, and Reina woke up. She rubbed her head and stood up to sit up.

"Reina!" Hermione walked forward and helped Reina up.

"Are you all right, child?" Dumbledore asked.

"Why did you faint?" Hermione also looked at Lena worriedly.

"I...I don't know, I feel very tired now." Reina said in a daze.

"Oh, poor child, you must have been exhausted from cleaning my office, that's why you fainted." Lockhart walked forward and looked into Reyna's eyes.

Reina looked at the people in the room, a little confused, and asked: "Ah - yes, yes, please tell me, what happened?"

"Nothing, just a little thing—"

"Why don't you tell her, Professor Lockhart? The whole school knows about it. This is no small matter." Snape interrupted Lockhart.

"Filch's cat was petrified and was found hanging downstairs. Talros, did you notice anything strange before you fainted?" he continued.

"A strange place?" Lena frowned, recalling what happened in the afternoon.

"I was... cleaning the office, and Lockhart left, and... and then I heard a noise... and then... and then... I'm sorry. I can't remember."

"Sound! What did you hear?" Harry asked anxiously. He didn't say what he heard just now because Ron and Hermione didn't hear it, and now maybe he was not the only one who could hear it.

"It seems like the rooster is crowing." Lena said.

"We heard it, too!" Ron shouted.

"Yes, we heard the sound of a rooster and followed it all the way here," Hermione explained quickly.

"Why didn't you say it just now?" Snape asked.

"because--"

"Because there is no rooster in the school. Hagrid's rooster was killed by wild beasts at the beginning of the month. All of them died. There is no way that there will be a rooster in the school, so we... have been wondering if we heard it wrong." Hermione interrupted Harry.

"We can't give out false information, can we?" Hermione said, looking at Snape.

"That's a good idea, but you can express it even if it's just speculation," said Dumbledore.

"So, Reina, you heard the rooster too?" Hermione asked.

"The sound was very small. If I heard it correctly, I think it was a rooster."

"Okay, leave this to us. You guys can go back first. However, I think Miss Tallos, you should go to Madam Pomfrey. Snape, since she is a student in your house, please take her there."

"He can't leave, my cat is petrified!" Filch grabbed Harry, his eyes wide, "I want him to be punished!"

"We can treat your cat, Filch."

Dumbledore said patiently, "Professor Sprague is currently working on a Mandrake. When she is finished, I will take a portion to revive Madam Norris."

"I can, I can do it!" interrupted Lockhart. "I must have done it a hundred times, and I can make a glyph resurrection potion in my sleep -"

"I'm so sorry--" Snape interrupted him, saying in a bad tone, "But I believe I am the Potions teacher at Hogwarts."

There was an awkward silence...

"Okay, let's go." Dumbledore broke the silence.

Harry, Ron and Hermione ran out quickly.

Snape walked over to the sofa, "Let's go to the hospital wing and check on the condition of your body with zero defense."

Reina nodded and stood up, but before her body could fully recover, her vision suddenly went dark and she staggered and was about to fall.

At this moment, a hand reached out and hugged her, and Reina's hands grasped the man's robe tightly.

"Tsk, really." Snape's voice came from above his head. He straightened Reina, held her wrist with one hand and walked out the door.

Reina followed silently, being led by the hand.

"Next time you are alone, remember to tell Draco. I don't want to have to go from room to room looking for someone."

Snape's voice came from the front.

"Lockhart, has he done anything to you?"

“Probably, no…” Reina answered in a low voice.

"Can't remember again?" Snape stopped and turned to look at her.

Reina shook her head.

"I understand." Snape continued to pull Lena towards the medical wing.
