HP: Let professors walk towards the light
Chapter 223 Hermalena Cannot Die
Then Bane took his torch back from Snape and walked first.
"Okay, let's go. Instead of being careful with your steps, it's better to get to your destination smoothly and quickly."
Ronan extended his hand gentlemanly, letting the two walk in the middle while he brought up the rear.
After about two or three minutes, the path in front of them turned into a vast snowy field. The snow here was obviously much thicker without the cover of the jungle.
Bane didn't walk very far, but stopped very close to the jungle. He stepped out of a big circle, and then he and Ronan pointed the torches in their hands at the circle. They exhaled from their chests, burned a dry area with fireworks, and finally placed the burning torches in the middle.
"Come sit here. Don't worry. The jungle is very clean."
Although he said this, Snape had already used his wand to transform a snow-covered branch not far away into a sofa and dragged it over.
Faced with such a slap in the face, Ronan did not get angry and continued with the previous topic.
"We've also noticed the unstable moonlight around you. This isn't a good omen. Since we've decided to participate, we hope to learn more about you. This might help Bane with his guidance."
Upon hearing this, Snape unconsciously tightened his grip on Reina's hand. He never liked to recall the past, the painful past. He hated himself for not being able to share her pain.
Reina also shook hands with him, but she did not avoid the question. She calmly told the story of how she changed from the established reality and kept moving towards death to restart her life. Although she did not tell every detail, it was still a rather long story. Fortunately, Bane and Ronan were just listening and did not interrupt.
This was the first time she had so readily introduced her miraculous experience to others, without the dizziness and discomfort that stirred her brain, the fear and panic that came with her plans falling apart, or the forced calmness that came with her lies being exposed.
She is very relaxed now.
Ronan seemed very empathetic, and he was so worried about what happened to Reina that he almost cried.
Bain also shook his head frequently, as if he was very dissatisfied with Lena.
After she finished speaking, Lena felt an inexplicable sense of relief. It was indeed the first time she had such a feeling, as if a thick quilt that had been pressing on her in winter was suddenly replaced with a thin velvet blanket.
"May the morning star bless you, Hermalena. You must be in great pain, but I am glad that you are willing to share this with us." Ronan rubbed his face and tried to cheer himself up.
"I'm sorry to hear about your unfortunate experiences. Everyone who fights alone has reasons that are difficult for ordinary people to understand. However, your efforts have not been in vain. At least now, even I have no choice but to help you."
Bain seemed to have lost his previous resistance. Today's centaurs strictly abide by God's will and stay out of the world, but for the safety of the tribe, he had to accept the behavior that he once regarded as a traitor. Now he understood why the chief warned him sternly and asked him to guide a wizard.
"So the root of the problem is indeed related to you." He looked at the black-robed wizard who only had two legs but had the same style as him.
"Human love is always so complicated. Unlike us centaurs, we will never abuse our emotions before we meet our destined person."
Bane cast a look of contempt at Snape without any concealment.
"That's really... congratulations." Snape didn't look kindly at the centaur because of the centaur's initial resistance.
"It's exactly as Hermalena said. The previous star trajectory was normal because we weren't part of it. But Bane's words also affect the future of the centaurs, which is why we noticed those sudden changes. I've observed Mr. Snape's constellation, and it's indeed a sign of resurrection from the dead. Hermalena's star point is very close to yours after the change, and your destinies have become entangled."
Ronan looked up at the sky. There were no stars tonight, just like that in the eyes of a wizard.
"But I'm glad you seem to have resolved a lot of the issues."
Bane is completely different from Ronan's compassionate heart. Although he is also rational, he has a strong personality. He said bluntly:
"The trajectory of the stars won't change forever for one person. That would go against destiny. But don't worry, heaven won't be too harsh on kind people. Although you won't be allowed to reenter the Destiny Star after death, you should be able to return to nature and become a part of it."
"You mean, if it's her... then there won't be any reincarnation after this?"
Snape was obviously not satisfied with such a price. Although he had never believed in these legends of monsters and demons in the past, he was actually worried about them now, worried about those mysterious things that he could not touch at all.
Bain raised his voice in disapproval, and said impatiently, "What you should be considering now is not whether she can be reincarnated, but the problems she is about to face!"
"That's right. This is a completely different situation from her parents. Think about it, her soul has been shattered. At that time, let alone reincarnation, even returning to nature will not be possible. Without a complete soul, she will directly disappear from this world." Ronan nodded in agreement.
"If you die, the situation will... become uncontrollable, just as the patriarch predicted. This is why I must guide you. The centaurs need peace."
He looked at Lena again, his expression extremely serious, and revealed the direction of the prophecy.
"If you have any abnormality, you must tell me. If you don't tell me, I won't be able to read your mind, understand your choices, or even clean up the mess."
These words reminded Lena of the night not long ago. She glanced at Snape almost reflexively, but the closure of her palms made her come to her senses and feel relieved.
"I don't know if this counts, but it seems I need to say it. I don't understand how much this has to do with the change in my state of mind. Regardless, I am now like a dark wizard who is unable to release my Patronus Beast. I just don't think I've reached that level yet."
Snape didn't expect that something really happened that he didn't know about, and the anxiety in his heart suddenly surged up.
"When did this happen?"
His mouth trembled, maybe he should ask "Why not tell him".
But this was just questioning why Reina was unwilling to trust him. He knew that she absolutely trusted him, and there was no need for such unrealistic doubts between them that would not solve any problems.
Then it was enough that he trusted her.
