HP: Let professors walk towards the light

Chapter 12 Quirrell Leaves School Early

"Hermione, I can only say that sometimes eyes can deceive people. Even Quirrell was casting an evil curse on Harry's broom today. You are a smart girl, believe me or not, but I hope you can act cautiously. Recklessness will only hurt you." Rena said earnestly.

"Okay, I... I understand. I think I will pay attention to it, Lena. Thank you for your reminder and thank you for saving Harry." Hermione nodded heavily.

?

"It's Professor Quirrell who's hexing your broom! Harry, are you all right?" Hermione reunited with Harry and Ron and whispered to them.

"How is that possible! What was Snape doing just now?" Ron exclaimed.

"You mean Professor Quirrell wants to kill me? Why? I would be more willing to believe it if you said it was Snape." Harry asked with the same confusion.

"I don't know what Snape wanted to do, but he was indeed removing the curse from your broom just now. I wanted to burn his robes to stop him, but Reina stopped me in time and blew Professor Quirrell down, so Harry was fine. Harry, it was Snape and Reina who saved you!"

Harry had never expected that he had been on the verge of death several times for no reason, and now he didn't expect Snape to save him.

"Why is it that Slytherin again? Is it possible? I mean, what if she and Snape staged it themselves? She saved Hermione last time, and it's Harry again this time. Could it be me next time? This is very possible! I have to find a way to get something to save my life. What if they mess up?"

"Stop your delusions, Ron, don't be so self-indulgent, this is the fact! Reina is a good person, you can't deny this just because she is a Slytherin! Can you not be so narrow-minded when looking at people?"

Harry had now fully accepted that Ron's words could not be trusted completely.

"Well, why did Quirrell want to kill me? And I saw Snape being bitten by the three-headed dog. How do you explain this?"

"Perhaps we could ask Hagrid? Isn't he also a faculty member at Hogwarts? He might know something."

... Days passed, the weather became colder and colder, the surrounding mountains were covered with snow, the ice on the lake was hard, Hogwarts was also covered with snow, the lower grade children were crowded in the corridors to avoid struggling to walk through the more than a foot high snow to go to class. Peeves threw snowballs everywhere, and the students hated him even more.

The Weasley twins were punished for using magic to throw snowballs at Professor Quirrell's head, but they waved it off because they were having fun at the time.

In order to ensure that the Hogwarts owls have enough strength to deliver messages in the wind and snow, Hagrid is taking good care of them.

Harry and his two companions were investigating the clues they got from "Big Mouth" Hagrid every day - Nicolas Flamel - the thing guarded by the three-headed dog seemed to be related to Dumbledore and this person.

The Great Hall, Slytherin Table

An owl flew in, aimed at Reina and prepared to make an emergency landing. Reina quickly moved the things in front of her and reached out to hold it when it fell on the table.

Draco's eyes lit up when he saw the owl. It was a yellow and black owl with a few white feathers on its chest. Even its eyes and claws were yellow. It was not small in size. At this moment, it tilted its head and looked at Lena with its big round eyes.

"Cool! Reina, this is the first time I've seen your owl. It's quite handsome. What kind is it?"

"To be precise, it was a yellow-footed fishing owl. I followed my father to an Eastern country when I was very young, and I rescued it at the foot of the Himalayas. It was injured at the time, but after it recovered, I don't know how it secretly flew back with us. I don't know how it did it. Later, when my father was going to send it back, he scolded him. Yes, he has a bad temper. In order not to leave, he tried to get close to me. He was carried away and then pounced back, carried away and then pounced back. So my mother suggested that he stay and deliver letters to me."

Reina took a letter from the owl's feet and fed him a piece of meat.

"Wild animals can also deliver messages?" Draco was obviously interested.

"Of course... he was specially trained for a few years, but he is very smart and a good match for our family." Reina showed a proud expression.

"What's its name?"

"Owl boss, how about that? Pretty domineering, right? He really likes the name I gave him." Lena rubbed Owl boss and put the letter in her pocket.

"You are quite good at naming." Draco raised his eyebrows and reached out his hand to touch Obos, but the other party just called out to him twice and flew away.

“……”Draco was speechless.

"Ha..." Reina tried to hold back her laughter.

?

The Christmas holidays are coming soon, and the students of Hogwarts are counting the days to class. Finally, there is only one day left before they can go home!

"I feel so bad for some of the people who have to stay at Hogwarts because their families won't let them go back for Christmas."

In Potions class, Draco taunted, looking at Harry as he spoke, while Crabbe and Goyle snickered beside him.

Harry ignored him. After all, he signed up to stay in school for the holiday because he didn't want to go back. Besides, Ron and his brothers were also in school - their parents went to Romania to visit Charlie. He had already regarded Hogwarts as his home, so he might as well stay here instead of going back to Privet Drive.

Draco felt a little bored when he saw Potter had no reaction at all. After class, he saw them and the half-blood giant blocking the aisle and started to mock them again.

Ron couldn't help it and rushed up to him and grabbed his collar, which happened to be seen by Snape. Well, Gryffindor was deducted five points again. Hagrid tried to speak for them but it was useless because Snape didn't want to listen to the explanation.

The three Malfoys squeezed past the Christmas tree that Hagrid had brought, and needles fell everywhere. Snape turned around and prepared to leave.

"Please wait a moment, Professor Snape." Hermione called him quickly.

Ron looked at Hermione in surprise as she left behind this plague god.

"Do you have any other...instructions? Miss Granger." Snape turned slowly and squeezed out a few words.

"I'm sorry to bother you, but I haven't seen Hermalena in the past few days, and she didn't come to class today. Perhaps I can know what happened, what happened to her?" Hermione tried her best to be polite, hoping it would work with Snape.

"What does this have to do with you, Miss Gryffindor?" Snape narrowed his eyes and looked at Hermione.

"Oh no, I... I just... I mean she saved me once. Yes, we actually have a... okay relationship, and... and her Potions notes are still with me. I want to return them to her but I can't find her. Others are unwilling to tell me, so I can only ask you, Professor."

"In that case, I'm afraid you'll only be able to see Talros again after school starts. She's applied to leave early, but you should really take a good look at her notes. If your mind isn't already filled with splendor, think about why your potions aren't as perfect as Talros's."

Snape snorted, lifted his robes and left.

"With this attitude, I still can't believe that Snape saved me. I still hate him and Malfoy." Harry said.

"Leaving school early? Why? I remember she is also an orphan?" Ron was very confused.

"That's not something you can know. Okay, kids, come with me to the auditorium. It's amazing there." Hagrid picked up the Christmas tree and walked towards the auditorium with the three carrot heads.

"Actually, I was planning to ask Reina about Nicolas Flamel. I think she might know some clues." Hermione whispered to Harry and Ron. After all, Hermione was a noble and the people she knew must know more than them.

Ten days ago, in the Potions Office.

"Applying to leave school early for Christmas?" Snape looked at Hermalena in front of him: "What's the reason?"

Reina handed over the letter she received that afternoon.

"Perhaps you know that, after all, in addition to going to school, I also have to prevent the family businesses at home from going bankrupt in my hands. This is a letter from the house-elf. There is a small problem abroad. A guest is on the way to visit my home. I need to go abroad with him."

Snape took a look at the letter. It was not in a font he recognized. The letter said that a small-scale riot of dark wizards had occurred in Egypt. Although it was quickly suppressed, it just so happened that several commercial streets that were bombed included businesses of the Talros family. The butler happened to be injured, and his apprentice was a little flustered. He also mentioned that someone would visit Talros Manor tomorrow.

"I didn't know there were such big names among my students. I am really ashamed of myself." Snape glanced at her and said, "Approved. But I advise you to arrive on time when the new year starts, and don't forget to make up your homework. I will conduct a random check on the night you return to school. No matter how impressive you are outside, if the test results do not satisfy me, you will know the consequences."
