HP: Let professors walk towards the light

Chapter 11: The Quidditch Professor Casts a Spell

?

Halloween passed very "ordinary". As November came, the weather became much colder. The area around Hogwarts was covered with snow, and the Black Lake was frozen. It looked like even Hagrid wouldn't have to worry about it collapsing if he stood on it. Every day on the way to class, you could see a layer of frost on the ground. Everyone wore thick sweaters under their wizard robes, stepped on boots, and wore scarves exclusive to the school.

The Hogwarts Quidditch match is also about to have its first match during this period, with Slytherin versus Gryffindor, which is destined to be a fierce battle.

Originally, Wood was going to train Harry as their secret weapon, but somehow, the news that Harry was Gryffindor's Seeker was leaked out, and many people were talking about it. Moreover, he had been running into Slytherins more and more frequently recently. If Wood still didn't believe that they were gathering information, then he would really become a "Wood".

However, Harry, who was the center of the topic, was not feeling so good. Recently, people were always pointing fingers at him, some supported him, and some said they would put a mattress under him to prevent him from falling to death. Wood also always forced him to hide and train, so that he did not have enough time to complete his homework.

But thankfully, since the troll incident, Hermione had become his and Ron's friend, so at least he had a job to do, and Hermione had even given him a Quidditch book, which was really fun to read.

And recently he occasionally saw Hermalena, who had helped him at the beginning of the school year. Although Ron always emphasized that she was a Slytherin, Harry now felt that Slytherins might not be as bad as Ron said. Not only did she help him last Halloween, she also saved Hermione.

Moreover, after listening to Hermione, he realized that if he and Ron had not locked the troll in without knowing that there were people inside, they could have escaped without being discovered by the professor. Although they both got extra points, they were still criticized in the end. He also heard that Hermalena seemed to have been put in detention by Snape, and Malfoy had troubled him for this.

At this moment, Draco in the Slytherin common room and Lena who was in detention sneezed at the same time.

"Really? It must be Reina who infected me. I didn't wear more clothes even though I had a cold. I was walking around everywhere and almost infected everyone in the lounge." Draco muttered to himself.

On the other side is the Potions Office.

Reina sniffed and continued to process the evening primrose roots in her hand, cutting them into the same size as Professor Snape required and supplementing the lesson preparation materials.

Snape, who was correcting homework not far away, noticed this and put down his pen.

Then Reina saw a bottle of potion placed on her desk. She looked up in confusion and saw Professor Snape still sitting at his desk. He said without raising his head, "Cold potion. Drink it if you don't want to infect your poor professor. You've infected everyone in the lounge. Don't show up in my office tomorrow after you deal with it. I don't want to endure the pain while teaching those trolls."

Reina's inner thoughts: How could I be the one who got infected? It was obviously because my temperature dropped too quickly. The professor is really merciless.

But she always felt that the professor was a little strange, as if he was different from before, which was specifically reflected in his behavior and attitude towards her. In the past, as long as she didn't want him to, he would not notice her in the first grade...

Quidditch match day

The entire Quidditch field was filled with people. Almost everyone in the school was there. After all, the match between these two colleges was the most exciting to watch.

Everyone held their own cheering items and binoculars. Across from the Gryffindor audience, there was a bed sheet with a picture of a lion and the words "Potter will win" written on it. The little Slytherin snakes were not to be outdone, shouting things like "Slytherin will win."

Reina was also waving a green flag, and next to her was Draco who was constantly complaining and belittling Potter.

"Okay, Draco, the game begins."

At the sound of a whistle, the red and green troops interweaved and rose into the air.

"The Quaffle was taken by Angelina Johnson of Gryffindor! She's a great Chaser and very beautiful—"

The narrator was Lee Jordan from Gryffindor. He seemed to like Miss Johnson very much. Even under Professor McGonagall's stern gaze, he would still bring up the topic of conversation with her from time to time.

Angelina scored a good start for Gryffindor, and then Slytherin followed suit. Harry had been staying away from the battlefield according to the instructions of captain Wood, waiting to make a move after seeing the Golden Snitch, but the opponent seemed to be well prepared. One of Slytherin's beaters kept staring at him and hit the Bludger towards Harry, so that Harry had to be distracted and dodge.

Harry spotted the Snitch and dived down immediately. Terence Higgs, the Slytherin Seeker, also dived down with Harry. For a moment, everyone's attention was on the two of them. Even the other players on the field were hovering in the air, watching their contest. As Harry's speed increased and he was about to catch the Snitch, Marcus Flint, the Slytherin captain and a Chaser, flew directly over and hit Harry. Harry had to hold on to his broom to steady himself.

The Gryffindors off the field burst into angry curses, and the commentator Jordan also accused Flint of inappropriate behavior. However, Flint would not be sent off like in a Muggle game, and all he got in return was a free throw from Gryffindor.

Lena took the telescope, said something to Draco who was looking smug beside her, and left the audience.

The game continues.

Just as Harry narrowly avoided the Bludger thrown by his opponent, something went wrong with his broom! He began to lose control of the broom and could only hold it tightly with his knees, while his Nimbus 2000 tried to throw him off like crazy. No one noticed the abnormality at first, until he was thrown off by the violent tumbling of the broom and could only hold the broom handle with one hand, and everyone finally realized that something was wrong.

The Weasley twins hovered below Harry, trying to catch him as he fell, while Flint on the other side took his chance to score a goal without anyone noticing him.

"I guessed it! It's Snape, look!" In the Gryffindor audience seats, Hermione handed the telescope she had snatched from Hagrid to Ron.

Ron grabbed the telescope and looked at the teachers' seats in the stands opposite them. Snape was sitting in the middle of the stands. His eyes seemed to be fixed on Harry, and he was muttering something.

"He's hexing Harry!" Hermione clenched her fists.

“But what can we do?”

"Let me do it." After saying that, Hermione immediately left the audience and ran to the opposite stands through the aisle.

Ron turned to look at Harry and prayed, "Hurry up, Hermione."

Hermione squeezed through the passage and came to the back of the teacher's seat. She squatted down and raised her wand towards Snape, chanting a spell. A bright flame flew out from the wand and pounced on Snape's black robe.

"Spell Block!"

The small tongue of fire was instantly offset by an invisible wall. Hermione turned around in shock and found that Rena was standing one or two steps away from her.

Hermione was picked up from the ground by Reina. Before she could say anything, she saw Reina pointing her wand in front of her again. That was Professor Quirrell's position!

"The wind swirls suddenly."

The light tone of voice summoned a gust of wind that blew towards the teachers' seats, and then Quirrell's headscarf was blown away, and he was blown to one side. He grabbed the headscarf to cover his head in panic, and curled up in his seat to steady his body.

Lena saw Harry climb back onto the broom in the distance and pulled Hermione's arm away.

"Wait...wait, Reina..." Hermione was pulled out of the crowd. She tried to stop Reina. "Stop first, Herma Reina!"

Lena took her to a corner with few people and waved her wand to cast an ear-blocking spell.

"What were you trying to do just now, burn the professor's clothes? You don't think that Professor Snape is framing Harry, Hermione Granger, I think you should know what the consequences will be if the spell is interrupted and the evil curse continues."

"What? Remove...remove the curse?! You mean Snape was removing the curse from Harry just now, then Professor Quirrell..." Hermione seemed to have heard something that made her worldview collapse, and said in shock, "That's impossible, Snape obviously hates Harry so much!"

"It's the professor! Hermione, don't be so stubborn. You saw it, it was Quirrell who did it."

"But Harry said before that he saw Snape... Professor wanted to steal something on the fourth floor that was guarded by a three-headed dog, and he was bitten. Harry said that thing was very important. Professor Quirrell is so timid that he won't..."

For a moment, Hermione didn't know what to say. She did see Quirrell casting a spell, and Harry was fine because Reina interrupted him. In other words, if Reina hadn't stopped him, she would have almost indirectly killed Harry.
