HP: Let professors walk towards the light
Chapter 104 Reina's Rebirth 10
Reina passed the Apparition test in April with ease.
In Reina's opinion, Professor Snape's Defense Against the Dark Arts class was the most knowledge-rich class she had ever taken, even surpassing Professor Lupin's class (but Professor Lupin's class was the easiest because he didn't assign such long essay assignments).
That day, Lena climbed to the eighth floor. On the way, she heard people talking about Potter, saying that he was covered in blood and might have gone on an adventure somewhere again.
However, she caught a glimpse of water flowing out of the bathroom at the end, so she walked forward cautiously to check.
"Is there anyone in there?" Lena stood at the door and shouted inside. This was the men's washroom, but the water pipe inside was probably broken and water was constantly flowing out. Few people passed by here.
Reina took out her wand and walked in.
"what happened?"
It was obvious that there had been a fierce fight here, with broken mirrors, destroyed water tanks, and cracked floors...
The floor was covered in blood and large patches of water were dyed light red. Even though water continued to spurt out of the cracked pipe, it was still obvious that the man was bleeding heavily.
"Merlin's beard--" Reina was shocked. This level of situation was definitely not a simple fight, it had escalated to the level of murder.
Who on earth would have such great malice to hurt other students?
“The signs are repeating.”
Reina cast a range spell, and the entire bathroom returned to normal in an instant.
The door opened and then closed again, the faucet in front of the mirror was turned on and water kept running, then someone else walked in, and then the afterimage of a spell hit the wall near the door, shattering the lamp on the wall.
The latter also fired a spell but was blocked, and the two sides fought back and forth. Water tanks, pipes, and reservoirs were broken one after another, and the ripples on the ground could clearly see the movements of the two people.
Then, the person near the door seemed to fall to the ground, splashing a lot of water, but immediately afterwards, the water not far in front of where Reina was standing suddenly turned bright red and spread to the surroundings.
The door was pushed open suddenly, and another person walked in on water, probably taking the injured student out - patches of blood slowly extended towards the door.
Then, the illusion created by the magic dissipated, and everything around returned to the way it was when Reina first came in.
This was the first time that Lena discovered the convenience of repeating the spell. At least, she finally found the right environment to use it.
She waved her wand again, cleaned the entire bathroom back to normal, and walked out quietly, pretending she had never been there.
The boy was seriously injured and should be sent to the medical wing, and this matter will definitely ferment.
Reyna walked towards the hospital wing and she found Madam Pomfrey.
"Madam Pomfrey, please—"
"Oh, child, I'm sorry about this. You can visit, but only five... ten minutes at most." The Pomfrey woman was tidying up the cabinet marked blood replenisher.
Before Reina even had the chance to say her excuse, she had already received permission from Madam Pomfrey to visit, which forced Reina to be more cautious.
When they walked into the medical wing, it was empty except for a bed with a curtain drawn. Reina walked over quietly and slowly lifted the curtain.
Draco was lying on the hospital bed, his bare upper body wrapped in bandages and the scars on his face from the knife cuts had not completely healed.
He saw that it was Reina who pulled open the curtain, and said helplessly: "I didn't expect that the first person to come to see me would be you. By the way, did the news spread so quickly? Was Potter fired?"
"I don't know. I just discovered you... the scene after the duel, so I came to see who was so unlucky. I have to admit that you looked really scared. Can I understand that you were almost killed by Potter?" Lena took out a stool from under the bed and sat on Draco's bed. She picked up white moss from the drawer beside the bed and slowly applied it to the scar on Draco's face.
"I was saved by Snape."
Reina's hand paused slightly, then continued her movements as if nothing had happened. Draco frowned and said, "I've already used it."
"It would be a shame if such a handsome face was left with a scar." Reina smiled gently.
"Potter, why do you do this to you?" she continued.
"He eavesdropped on my conversation with Myrtle, and I was the first to take action... I didn't expect that he would be even more vicious than me. At that moment, I really thought I was going to... die in that dirty men's restroom." Draco stared blankly at the ceiling.
"That's such a pity. Hogwarts has lost a handsome ghost - the crying dragon." Reina said jokingly.
"Why didn't I notice you were so presumptuous before? Was that you who shouted?" Draco pursed his lips and rolled his eyes at Lena.
"Yes, yes, I know I was wrong, Master Malfoy." Reina lowered her head and sat upright, making a gesture of admitting her mistake and begging for mercy.
Draco snorted.
"Maybe, can I help you with something?" Lena looked at him and asked tentatively.
"No, this has nothing to do with you."
"If you need it, I can help you a little."
"Why?" Draco also looked at Reina, and the two looked at each other, one high and one low. "Do you have any reason to help me? Don't you want to be a Death Eater?"
"Concern from friends?"
"You are quite good at making excuses for yourself. I don't seem to have allowed you to be my friend."
"I think you're quite interesting. I know you. You hate Potter so much and even bully him repeatedly because he refused your request to be your friend." Lena played with her hair and looked at Draco with a smirk.
"Oh, what are you talking about? It's so stupid. Do you believe that? I really-"
"Draco." Lena interrupted his speech and Draco looked at her with confusion.
"If your father wasn't in Azkaban, if your last name wasn't Malfoy, would you want to do these missions?"
Draco was a little confused at first, then slowly turned his head and looked at the white curtain on the other side, silent.
For a long time, the hospital wing was unusually quiet. It felt like a very long time had passed. Reina just sat there, looking at Draco's platinum hair, his wounded body, and the crystal tears in Draco's eyes disappearing along his tilted head. It was not until Madam Pomfrey knocked on the door, reminding Reina that the visiting time was up, that she slowly stood up, put the white moss back on the drawer at the head of the bed, and left the hospital wing.
