Raindrops dripped down Si Yehan's hair, forming a small puddle at his feet. He stood in front of Gu Wan's apartment door, his finger hovering above the doorbell, but he finally chose a more violent method - slamming his fist against the door.

"Open the door!" His voice was low and dangerous, penetrating the silence of the rainy night.

Inside the apartment, Gu Wan suddenly woke up from her light sleep. She glanced at the alarm clock on the bedside table - 1:37 a.m. Who would come to see her at this time? She got out of bed quietly, grabbed a nightgown and put it on her shoulders.

"Uncle Zhou?" she asked tentatively, thinking that the old housekeeper of the Nangong family had a new plan. Since her identity was discovered by Si Yehan, she had not gone out for the past two days and had been in a state of high tension.

There was no response from the outside, only more urgent knocks.

Gu Wan looked through the peephole and instantly felt as if she had fallen into an icy cave. Si Yehan's sharp-edged face looked particularly gloomy under the dim light of the corridor, and the rain slid down his jawline, like a beast in the dark.

She took two steps back subconsciously, her heart beating wildly in her chest. Escape. She had to escape. But there was only one exit in the apartment, and Si Yehan was blocking it.

"Gu Wan, I know you're in there." Si Yehan's voice came through the door, carrying an irresistible command, "Open the door, or I'll wake up everyone in the building."

Gu Wan's fingers tightly grasped the belt of her nightgown, her knuckles turning white. She took a deep breath and forced herself to calm down. Perhaps, facing it was the only way out.

The sound of the door lock turning was particularly clear in the rainy night. As soon as the door opened a crack, Si Yehan pushed it open forcefully and the damp and cold air instantly filled the entire entrance.

"Si Yehan, you..." Gu Wan's words were cut off in her throat. Si Yehan grabbed her wrist with such force that he almost broke her bones. He closed the door with his backhand and pressed her hard against the wall.

"Six years." Si Yehan's voice was terribly low. "Six years ago you disappeared at the wedding, and now you're back with a fake identity. Gu Wan, what do you think of me?"

Gu Wan could smell the scent of rain and ambergris mixed on him, and the familiar smell instantly brought her back to six years ago. She forced herself to look directly into his eyes, even though the anger in his black eyes almost burned her.

"I..." she said with difficulty, her voice trembling slightly with fear.

Si Yehan sneered, and put his other hand on her cheek, his thumb roughly brushing her lips. "Tell me?" he taunted, "Like having a baby with another man?"

Gu Wan's pupils suddenly contracted, and the blood color faded from his face. "How could you--"

"How would I know?" Si Yehan interrupted her, jealousy burning in his eyes. "Do you think you can keep it a secret from me forever? Whose six-year-old child is that?"

Gu Wan's lips trembled, but she couldn't make a sound. Her thoughts, her thoughts. The thing she feared the most had happened.

Si Yehan took her silence as a tacit agreement, and his anger grew. He leaned forward, his nose almost touching hers. "Answer me!" he growled.

"It's not what you think..." Gu Wan tried to explain, but Si Yehan had already lost his patience.

He suddenly lifted her up and strode towards the bedroom. Gu Wan struggled in his arms, but to no avail. Si Yehan's strength was so great that it seemed as if he wanted to rub her into his bones and blood.

"Si Yehan! Let me go!" She punched his chest, but it was like hitting a solid wall.

Si Yehan threw her onto the soft mattress and then covered her. He untied her tie with one hand and threw it aside casually, while holding her wrist tightly with the other hand.

"You owe me for the past six years," he said hoarsely, "and tonight I'm going to get it back with interest."

Gu Wan watched in horror as he unbuttoned his shirt, revealing his muscular chest. She had never seen Si Yehan like this before—out of control, dangerous, and aggressive. He was completely different from the calm and composed man she remembered.

"Please, don't do this..." she begged, tears welling up in her eyes.

Si Yehan paused for a moment, a hint of hesitation flashed across his dark eyes, but was quickly replaced by anger. "What qualifications do you have to beg me?" He leaned over and whispered in her ear, his hot breath spraying on her sensitive earlobe, "When you were lying under another man, did you ever think of me?"

Without waiting for her to answer, he pressed his lips down fiercely. This kiss was full of punishment, rough and strong, almost taking away her breath. Gu Wan tried her best to turn her head to avoid it, but he grabbed the back of her head and forced her to endure this possessive kiss.

She tasted the rain and his unique scent, and a hint of blood - someone's lip was bitten. The memories that she had deliberately suppressed for six years came flooding back like a tide, the night she had spent with him, those intimate moments of skin-to-skin contact...

Si Yehan's hand reached into her nightgown and caressed her slender waist. Gu Wan shuddered, but her body betrayed her will and began to respond to his touch. She hated her own weakness and hated this body that still remembered every caress of his.

"You're still so sensitive." Si Yehan noticed her reaction, and his voice was filled with cruel satisfaction, "Can that man satisfy you?"

Gu Wan was filled with shame and anger, and finally burst into tears. "You..." she choked.

Si Yehan ignored her and continued to torture her with his words and hands. He tore open her nightgown and lingered on her neck with his lips and teeth, leaving distinct marks one after another, as if claiming sovereignty.

"You are mine, Gu Wan," he whispered, "forever."

Gu Wan bit her lower lip, trying to resist her body's instinctive reaction, but the desire she had accumulated over the past six years burst at this moment. When Si Yehan merged with her, she finally gave up resistance and dug her nails deep into his back muscles.

This night was destined to be full of anger and pain, but also mixed with undeniable passion. Gu Wan hovered on the edge of pain and pleasure, and was finally brought to the top by Si Yehan. She trembled and sobbed under him, and her soul seemed to be torn apart and reassembled.

When everything was over, Si Yehan turned over and lay on his side, his chest heaving violently.

Silence stretched between the two of them, filled only by the sound of rain hitting the window.

Si Yehan suddenly sat up, his eyes falling on a scar on Gu Wan's abdomen - it was the mark left by a caesarean section. His expression froze.

"That child..." His voice suddenly became uncertain, "When was he born?"

Seeing that Gu Wan remained silent, Si Yehan grabbed the phone on the bedside table and easily cracked the password - it was the same one she used six years ago.

The album was full of photos of the same girl: from infancy to present day, with a bright smile and eyes... so much like his. His hands began to shake.

“What’s her…birthday?”

Gu Wan knew that she couldn't hide it anymore, so she answered softly, "I just turned six last month."

Si Yehan was struck by lightning, and his phone slipped from his fingers. He looked at Gu Wan, and the anger in his eyes was replaced by shock. "She is... mine?!"
