Chapter 450: Nar's Weakness!

Chapter 450: Nar’s Weakness!

Super-Human Strength: Gnar is powerful enough to decapitate an entire Celestial with a single blow, and single-handedly slaughtered an entire army of gods enhanced by the Uni-Power. Gnar's immense strength comes, at least in part, from the necromancy sword All-Black that he wields and his symbiote armor, which provided him with the power of the first Celestial he killed.

Despite Norrin having used up most of his cosmic energy, and after Knull easily subdued the Sentry - billed as one of Earth's Mightiest Heroes - and ripped him in half with little effort, Knull was able to easily handle the Silver Surfer.

Even after Valkyrie severed his metaphysical connection to the Headless Celestials, Gnull was still powerful enough to defeat Thor Odinson, who possessed the powers of the All-Father, with relative ease. Gnull's symbiote-created incarnation possessed only a fraction of his true power, but Eddie Brock was easily defeated by Gnull's symbiote despite being bonded to both the Venom and T-Rex symbiotes.

Superhuman stamina; despite his gaunt appearance, Knull was able to withstand blows from the Celestials; while fighting another god, he was unharmed when he fell through space into a planet's atmosphere, but lost consciousness after being pierced through the head.

Although the Silver Surfer's cosmic energy was able to cause Knull to bleed, and Ego's psionic beam shots caused him pain, he was not seriously injured. Knull was also able to withstand being immersed in stellar plasma without permanent damage, although it caused him severe pain.

His endurance was limited, as a full-force blow from Thor the All-Father of the Gods with Mjolnir was enough to rip Gnar's jaw apart, but that was all the damage Gnar suffered.

Dark Energy Manipulation: Knull is able to summon purple energy in the form of flames; purple energy can form a halo around himself and All Black, fire purple energy beams from his hands powerful enough to incapacitate the Silver Surfer, and can be fired as anti-aircraft and homing rounds from artillery structures manifested in the Symbiote Throne world. He has also been shown to be able to fire red energy from his hands.

Immortal; Knull is purportedly unable to be truly killed, and has existed for 137 billion years, before the seventh iteration of the universe began.

However, he can be injured to the point of being incapacitated: after being impaled on the head and falling from space to a planet's surface, it took him centuries to fully recover. Even after his body was completely disintegrated by Eddie Brock using the power of the God of Light, Knull attempted to possess Dylan Brock, but was thwarted by Eddie and seemingly completely destroyed.

However, despite this, he cannot truly die, as he is the embodiment of Oblivion. Self-Sustaining Knull is able to survive independently in the vacuum of space, seemingly requiring no food, water, or sleep to survive.

Shapeshifting; Knull is able to transform his mouth into a fanged maw with a prehensile, serpentine tongue, a trait he inherited from the symbiote. When really enraged, Knull's entire face changes to one more "symbiote-like", with his nose, lips, and cheeks completely featureless.

Regenerative Healing Factor: Despite his immense stamina, Gnar can still be incapacitated by injuries. However, he is able to not only survive injuries that would kill other gods, but he is also able to eventually recover from them.

After Thor blew a hole in his hand, Knull regenerated in seconds, though his missing jaw necessitated the creation of a prosthetic.

Flight; Gnar can manifest a pair of dragon-like wings, allowing him to fly.

Time manipulation; Knull was able to travel forward through the time stream to resurrect the God-Mr. E and create a barrier of the Living Abyss around the sun; also traveled through time to communicate with the God-Mr. E, restoring his full powers in an attempt to free his past self from Klyntar prematurely using the Ebony Blade.

Gnar's past self could sense the barrier being destroyed, briefly awakening him from his captive sleep.

Expert Combatant: Despite having no formal training, Knull is a wicked warrior with billions of years of combat experience, capable of single-handedly slaughtering entire armies of the gods enhanced by the Uni-Power.

Weaknesses: Light: Despite his immense endurance, Gnar is particularly susceptible to a force he calls "Light", which was created with the Big Bang and originally spread into the Abyss by the Celestials. "Light" refers not only to the literal light of stars and other celestial bodies, but also to various forces used by cosmic entities and deities - forces that, when used offensively, can cause pain to Gnar or even harm him; concepts such as honor, benevolence, mercy, and nobility that disrupt his control over the symbiotes, causing them to resent him; and life itself.

Knull attempted to destroy and disrupt the Light with his army of symbiotes, but his control over them was severed when the symbiote dragon within him was blasted by Thor's divine lightning. Centuries later, the Totemic incarnation Miles Morales was temporarily damaged by a blast of bioelectric Venom as well as sonic and energy grenades.

Telecontrol: When Gnull is telecontrolling a symbiote, any damage done to the symbiote is also done to him - such as when Thor blew a hole in the symbiote's hand during Gnull's attack on Dylan Brock, causing a corresponding wound to appear on Gnull's hand until he regenerated.

Hive Mind Infiltration: When a human or metaphysical manifestation of the Codex has freedom within Knull's hive mind, they can work against the symbiote under his control, and also cause him pain if not careful.

Celestial Connection: The vast majority of Knull's overwhelming power was provided by the Headless Celestial through the All-Black Symbiote, whose corpse was used to forge his Necromancer. Knull was unaware of this until Valkyrie severed the connection, thus stripping him of most of his powers.

Despite this, Gnull was still powerful enough to defeat an enhanced Thor Odinson in combat with relative ease.

Jiang Bai was stunned when he encountered such a terrifying existence, and immediately prepared to run away. This person could even tear apart a sentinel.

The Sentinel was still in his prime, so terrifying that even if he knew its weakness, he had no confidence that he could defeat him.
