My Little Pony: Another World Adventure
Chapter 39 The First Red Devil King
Just fifteen minutes before warm snow began to drift from the sky.
Hogsmeade Village, a village with the same history as Hogwarts Castle, is said to have been founded by Hengis of Woodcroft more than a thousand years ago.
Unlike Diagon Alley, where many races live together, the villagers of Hogsmeade are only wizards. This is because in 1612, a goblin rebellion broke out near the village, resulting in a large number of wizards being brutally massacred and persecuted.
From then on, Hogsmeade village was forbidden to allow any non-human creatures with intelligence close to that of humans to live there. This was the only insurmountable ban.
But at this moment, facing Lucius Malfoy's confident smile, the current village head, Mrs. Paddiford, is seriously considering whether to add an additional ban: prohibiting any Muggle equipment from entering Hogsmeade.
Mrs. Puddiford is not only the village chief, she also runs a warm and lovely tea shop in Hogsmeade village. It is very popular among Hogwarts students, especially among couples. Her tea shop is simply a holy place for dating.
"I don't see why you have anything to complain about, ma'am." Lucius sat in a soft armchair, crossed his legs, and sipped the black tea in the bone china cup. "I have not only the title deed, but also all the legal documents you need, all signed by the Minister of Magic himself."
"Lucius, I'm not questioning the legal validity of the document, but..." Mrs. Puddiford hesitated. This middle-aged woman with a charming demeanor had a pair of bright gray-blue eyes. "The land you need is too large. Ambrosio of Honeydukes and Zonko of Zonko's Joke Shop both have opinions. And I really can't see what these Muggle devices can produce."
"What to make?"
Lucius laughed in silence, put the bone china cup on the small tea table beside him, and raised an index finger arrogantly: "The future, ma'am, these devices are creating the future!"
Mrs. Puddiford blinked her eyes in understanding, and then said, "I understand. But can the noise in your factory be reduced a little? And the smoke and dust emitted and the water needed every day-"
"Ma'am." Lucius leaned forward slightly, staring into her eyes without blinking, and spoke softly, almost whispering, "Are you planning to go back on your word? When I just circled the land a few days ago, you didn't have this attitude now."
"Let me put it plainly to you, Lucius."
Seeing the other party's tough attitude, Mrs. Puddiford gave up the idea of beating around the bush and said bluntly: "You bought the Shrieking Shack and the nearby land and used them for the right purpose, which is good. But you actually used it to build a Muggle factory, which the villagers cannot tolerate. The original intention of establishing Hogsmeade was to shelter wizards persecuted by Muggles. Your behavior has already offended the public!"
Lucius was silent for a moment. He picked up the silver-plated lotus leaf tray with the teapot and teacups on it from the small tea table with both hands. He lowered his eyes to admire the exquisite Baroque carvings on it and said softly, "It's so beautiful. Madam, do you know how long it takes to make a tray like this?"
Mrs. Pudiford frowned and suppressed her anger and said, "This is a precious collection passed down from my family, specially used to entertain distinguished guests like you. It takes three wizards a whole day to work on it, from forging to shaping and then carving the patterns on it. If you like, I can give it to you."
"Do you know how long it would take a Muggle to make a tray like this?" Lucius asked.
"I don't know. Maybe..." Mrs. Puddiford tried to guess as short a time as possible. "Three months? No less."
Lucius put the tray back on the small tea table and raised his index finger again.
"A month?" Mrs. Puddiford exclaimed. "Have Muggles become so skilled?"
"One second, ma'am. Muggles only need one second to make this tray." Lucius said lightly in front of Mrs. Puddiford's astonished eyes, "They have a machine called a stamping machine. You just put the metal plate in, and the machine moves up and down, and a tray is made."
"How...how is this possible?" Mrs. Puddiford's eyes widened in disbelief. "They are Muggles without magic!"
"Times have changed."
Lucius leaned on his cane with a silver handle carved into the shape of a snake's head, his expression complicated and a little disappointed: "Muggle technology is already the same as magic, and even more convenient than magic. If we wizards continue to stick to our old ways, we will be ruthlessly eliminated by the tide of the times."
Mrs. Puddiford was speechless for a moment. She took a deep breath, and her plump breasts almost burst her collar. "I still find it hard to imagine that Muggles have developed to this extent... But, Lucius, you are also a businessman. You should be very clear about the impact that a large number of goods entering the market will have."
"That will allow everyone to get high-quality and low-priced goods." Lucius remembered that he had asked the same question to Latan, and the young master had answered him in this way. "This is a good thing that benefits all wizards."
"This will put a lot of wizards out of work, Lucius!" Mrs. Puddiford raised her voice. "You are depriving them of job opportunities!"
Lucius stood up with the help of his cane, nodded with a smile and said, "My factory welcomes unemployed people to join us at any time. Thank you for the tea, ma'am, I have said enough. If you have any more questions, I don't mind paying a little more to buy your teahouse."
He left Mrs. Puddiford, who had a complicated expression, behind him and strode out of the teahouse. The warm sunshine poured down, making the head of the Malfoy family, who had just returned from the freezing cold of Russia, smile faintly.
It's a really nice weather today.
I happened to have no social engagements in the afternoon, so I stopped by to see how the factory construction was progressing.
This is the first mission assigned to him by the Dark Lord's chosen successor, and he must complete it beautifully no matter what.
"Good afternoon, Mr. Malfoy." Two voices said in unison.
Lucius turned his head and saw two dazzling bald heads. They were the twin brothers Davis and Bans who ran the "Davis-Bans Magical Equipment Repair Shop". When he was studying at Hogwarts, he was a senior three years higher than the brothers.
"Good afternoon, Davis. Good afternoon, Bans." Lucius stopped. The sunny weather made him in a good mood. He didn't mind wasting a little time on small talk. "How is your business recently?"
Davis was tall and fat, with a thick reddish-brown beard under his sideburns, and his chin and lips were clean-shaven. "Not bad, Mr. Malfoy."
Bans was tall and fat, with his sideburns clean-shaven, except for his chin and lips covered by a brown-red beard: "Mr. Malfoy, is your factory going to open?"
"It's just in these few days, Bans." Lucius said with a smile, "Are you going to apply for the job? I very much welcome outstanding craftsmen like you."
Davis said gruffly, "You've got to be kidding me, sir."
Bans said in a gruff voice, "Sir, we just want to know what your factory plans to produce?"
Davis added: “Maybe we can form a partnership.”
Bans continued, "That means we are the only ones who can repair the products you make."
"I also want to tell you right now." Lucius played with his cane with a distant smile on his face, "But unfortunately, I am just a shareholder of the factory and did not announce it in advance-"
White particles passing by in front of their eyes interrupted his words. The head of the Malfoy family and the twin brothers looked up in surprise, looking at the dense snow falling from the cloudless sky.
"It's snowing?" Davis caught a few snowflakes in surprise. "It's such a warm day, how could it be..."
"Let me see." Bans pinched the slightly warm snow grains with his fingers and put his fingertips under his nose to sniff. "There is no peculiar smell, it won't melt, and it's not cold at all. What on earth is this... cough cough cough cough... what on earth is this... cough cough cough!!!"
Bans suddenly started coughing violently, and his whole body curled up like a shrimp, as if his lungs were about to burst out of his throat!
"Merlin's beard! What's wrong with you?!"
Davis was about to reach out to help his brother when Lucius suddenly pulled his wand out of his cane and yelled, "Back off!"
Almost at the same time, Bans raised his face covered with purple veins, his eyes burst into a terrifying red light, his grinning mouth was full of dense fangs, and he bit his twin brother's neck fiercely!
"All petrified!"
Lucius's wand emitted a pale flash, and Bans, whose body was deformed, fell stiffly like a statue in Davis' arms. The magic equipment repairman looked at his brother's ugly beast-like face and screamed, "What's going on?!"
"There's something wrong with this snow, don't breathe it in!" Lucius covered his mouth and nose with his sleeves and turned to look at the streets of Hogsmeade. In the peaceful village just a moment ago, many people were twitching in pain in the flying snow. Their teeth fell out, but then they grew sharp fangs again, and their eyes were shining with bloodthirsty light.
A mother eats her son's flesh and blood, a customer eats the store manager's heart alive, a man digs out his own eyes, and his nails become longer than a sickle!
There were wailing everywhere, blood everywhere, and people dying everywhere. It was simply purgatory on earth!
"Leave him alone!" Lucius yelled at Davis who was trying to pick up Bans, "Go back to your shop, close the doors and windows, and don't let the snow in!"
After saying that, he abandoned the helpless Davis and ran towards the Hogwarts Castle, while firing petrification spells at all the snow-infected people who rushed towards him, and roared: "Don't block my way!"
He was going to find someone, the person he cared about the most in this world, his only son!
To achieve this goal, Lucius is not afraid of any danger!
When passing by the Owl Post Office, a girl infected by the fine snow got on all fours, holding the remains of an owl in her mouth. Her flesh was corroded beyond recognition by purple blood vessels, and she pounced towards him like a wild beast!
Lucius had a fierce look on his face, his long blond hair was disheveled, and he raised his wand high: "Avada Kedavra!"
A flash of green light hit the girl right in the chest. The girl was blasted back by the spell and slammed heavily on the counter of the Owl Post Office, splashing countless flying feathers and making a crisp sound of breaking inside her body.
It looks like the spine or something is broken.
Just as Lucius was about to step away, he heard a creepy sound of bones rubbing against each other. He saw that the girl who was hit by the killing curse stood up again, her legs twisted on the ground, her upper body tilted back exaggeratedly, and her hideous face stared coldly at the man with light golden hair from between her legs.
The killing curse is ineffective against the infected!
No, it should be said that from the moment they were infected, they had turned into living corpses!
How can something that is already dead be killed again?
Seeing the girl crawling towards him like a giant spider, Lucius quickly waved his wand and shouted incoherently from his sleeves: "Thunder Explosion!"
A pale beam of light shot out from the tip of the staff, and the infected girl was blown into pieces of flying flesh on the spot. But just because she was delayed for such a few seconds, the other infected people in the village rushed over screaming, slammed into Lucius's back, and pushed him to the ground!
Lucius let out a roar mixed with fear and anger, turned over desperately and elbowed the infected on his back. As more and more infected fell on him, the huge weight made him unable to move.
The robe made of precious material was torn into tatters by the infected. Lucius watched helplessly as the deformed, slender nails cut cracks on his pampered skin, and the infected's ferocious teeth bit deeply into his flesh.
At this critical moment, Lucius only had one clear thought in his mind:
My son...Draco...you must live...
Suddenly, a voice with a thick accent came from far away, even drowning out the roar of the infected: "Dawali, don't be afraid! Hula!!!"
Arms thicker than logs swung forward, and the infected flew in all directions like bowling pins hit by a bowling ball. Shoulders broader and thicker than a city wall stood in front of the head of the Malfoy family, full of a reassuring sense of security.
Lucius, covered in blood, looked at the highly educated technical talent he hired from Russia, who was also the strongest wrestler in the former Soviet Union, and said weakly, "Zangief..."
"It's me!" The Mohawk-haired burly man from the former Soviet Union laughed heartily. His extremely heroic aura made it impossible for the flying snow to get close to him, as if it was wrapped in a thin protective shield.
Zangief (he has a very high level of education)
This is the embodiment of applying the knowledge of aerodynamics in fighting. As a doctor from Romanosov Moscow State University, Zangief has integrated the knowledge in his mind with fighting skills!
The reason why he followed Lucius to Britain was that he was extremely disappointed with Gorbachev (also known as the map head) and Yeltsin, and he was also attracted by the red idea proposed by Latan that "power should be decentralized from the government to the people", and he wanted to let the red flag fly over Great Britain!
Lucius was picked up from the ground by Zangief like a chicken. The pride of a pure-blood noble did not allow him to be so embarrassed. He said weakly: "You are just a Muggle. Let me deal with these things."
"Before that, you might as well listen to what Comrade Magnus wants to tell you." Zangief stared at the infected people who were eyeing him with his bear-like eyes, and at the same time stuffed a radio walkie-talkie with parchment fixed with sealing wax into Lucius' arms, pushing him to stagger.
Picking up the intercom, Lucius pressed the answer button. After a brief electrical noise, the voice of the third generation Dark Lord - or should I say - the first Red Lord came out: "Mr. Malfoy, I hope you are still alive..."
----
Latan stood among the corpses of centaurs infected by the fine snow. He gestured to the centaur leader, Falaniel, to put on gas masks like the other centaurs. He said to Lucius on the other end of the radio: "...I ask you to do your best to gather the survivors and gather everyone in the factory of the magic armor factory. There are a batch of magic guns I made there. Please feel free to use them."
Lucius on the radio was silent for a moment, then said cautiously, "Lord...General, is my son still in school?"
"Draco's safety is up to me." Latan warned the High Priest Tongen, who was unwilling to wear a human-made gas mask, with his eyes. "Once things are settled here, I will take you to see him immediately."
Lucius took a deep breath, his voice firm, and said, "I understand, General."
After hanging up the radio, Latan said to Flannel, "Burn the bodies of the infected to prevent the snow from mutating them again. Close the doors and windows, keep an eye on your cubs, and never let the snow come into contact with your mucous membranes."
Flannel looked at Latan, who was unprotected in the snow, and said with a worried look, shaking his horse's tail: "General, what about you?"
"…I'll be fine."
Latan looked at his hands in disgust and whispered, "Because, I am God."
Just at this moment, a burst of earth-shaking dog barking came from the direction of Hagrid's hut, accompanied by the half-giant's roar mixed with pain and sorrow, which made Latan's face solemn in an instant.
It's Fang, and it attacks Hagrid!
