Rift: Countdown to Doomsday

With the collapse of the villain forces, the other world finally ushered in a brief peace. The protagonist and his companions began the reconstruction work and worked hard to create a brand new world.

"We must rebuild this land and let the people here live a stable life." Ling Feng stood on a high place, overlooking the ruined village, and said to his companions beside him.

"That's right. We need to gather all our manpower and restore this place as soon as possible." Irene responded firmly.

"I will contact those businessmen and see if I can get some supplies and support from them." Lan Ya said.

"Okay, then we will split up. Everyone be careful, although the villain forces have been defeated, the remnants may still pose a threat to us." Ling Feng explained solemnly.

The companions nodded and took action immediately. Ling Feng took a few companions to visit various villages to understand the local conditions and coordinate the reconstruction work.

In an abandoned village, Ling Feng met several villagers who were hiding. They looked haggard, ragged, and very weak.

"Don't be afraid, we are here to help you." Ling Feng said gently, trying to ease the villagers' tension.

An elderly villager stepped forward and asked in a trembling voice, "Are you really here to help us? Will those evil people never come back?"

"Yes, they have been defeated by us. Now, we will help you rebuild your homes." Ling Feng answered firmly.

The villagers finally showed their long-lost smiles, and they looked at Ling Feng and his companions with gratitude.

At the same time, Lan Ya and Lie Yan were searching and rescuing in another ruin. They found some trapped villagers and quickly rescued them.

"Lan Ya, there are injured people here and we need emergency treatment!" Lie Yan shouted loudly.

"I have contacted the medical team and they will be here soon. Let's perform simple bandaging first and try to stabilize the condition of the injured." Lan Ya gave instructions while personally treating the wounded.

Soon after, the medical team arrived and the wounded received timely treatment. Lan Ya and Lie Yan continued to search in the ruins to find as many survivors as possible.

Meanwhile, Irene and Xuewu were organizing the villagers to clean up the area in the village square. They coordinated the division of labor and restored the basic living facilities in the village as soon as possible.

"Everyone follow the assigned tasks and clear the debris from the roads and houses as quickly as possible. We need a clean environment for reconstruction." Irene said loudly.

Xuewu is responsible for calming the villagers' emotions and ensuring that everyone gets enough rest and food while working.

In the evening, Ling Feng and his companions gathered together to share the progress of the day.

"Today we rescued a lot of villagers and started rebuilding some infrastructure," said Lan Ya.

"The medical team has also treated a number of wounded people, and the situation is gradually improving," Lieyan added.

"The villagers' emotions have stabilized and they have begun to actively participate in the reconstruction work," Irene said with a smile.
