The Great Dream God

Chapter 7 Manly

Today, at an ordinary post station, behind the dilapidated wooden door, a chilling scene took place. Da Hu, the once mighty man, now curled up on the ground, trembling all over. His voice echoed in the empty yard, filled with endless fear and despair: "Don't kill me, don't kill me!"

His face, which was once as tough as a rock, was now distorted to the point where it was almost unrecognizable. The look of fear was like a ghost in the night, tightly wrapped in the depths of his eyes, making people shudder. His hands waved helplessly in the air, as if he wanted to grasp some kind of illusory salvation, but only the cold air responded to him.

Standing opposite him was his wife, the woman who was once as gentle as water. At this moment, a strange smile appeared on the corner of her mouth. The smile was so dazzling in the sunlight, like a sneer in the dark, which made people shudder. She spoke slowly, her voice was terribly calm: "How could I kill you, my husband? You are the most important person in my life, you are my husband!"

These words were more of a sarcasm than a comfort. Every word was like a sharp knife, piercing Da Hu's heart. He couldn't understand why there was such a deep chill in her smile, and why there was endless gloom in her words. Fear spread in his heart, and he began to doubt whether this embrace that once gave him warmth had already become his cage?

In this post station shrouded in fear, Da Hu's pleading and his wife's laughter intertwined to form a terrifying symphony. Time seemed to stop at this moment, leaving only the broken wooden door shaking in the wind, making a mournful creaking sound, as if telling the tragedy that this family was about to face.

Da Hu's body was like being electrocuted. He struggled violently, every muscle was cramping, as if resisting an invisible force. His limbs twisted wildly, as if trying to break free from an endless nightmare. His eyes, which were once full of wildness and vitality, were now filled with boundless fear, like a fawn caught in a pack of wolves, terrified and unable to control himself.

"Then don't lift me up!" His hoarse voice trembled in the air, and every word was a desperate plea, as if he was sending a final cry for help to the world. His voice echoed in the empty space, sounding particularly harsh and chilling. His words were full of fear of the unknown, as if Cui Er in front of him had become the embodiment of terror, and every move could bring fatal danger.

"I thought you were going to kill me!" These words seemed to come from the depths of his soul, full of pain and fear. His heart was full of doubts, not understanding why Cui Er's behavior suddenly became so terrible. The fear in his heart surged like a tide, drowning all his rationality, leaving only the instinctive desire to survive.

"This is all a misunderstanding, please let me go, Cui'er!" His voice was almost begging, with a faint hope that Cui'er could hear his fear and understand his helplessness. His eyes were fixed on Cui'er, full of desperate expectation, hoping that she could let him go and end this game that frightened him.

The air around seemed to freeze. Only Da Hu's breathing and the sound of his struggle echoed in his ears. An atmosphere of fear filled the air.

After hearing these words, Cui Er's mouth corners slightly raised, outlining a creepy smile. Her eyes flashed with a cunning light, like the eyes of a demon shining in the darkness. Suddenly, without any warning, her slender snake-like tentacles shot out like lightning and pierced directly into the tiger's open mouth.

Da Hu was horrified, his eyes widened like bells, and he tried to escape, but his body seemed to be bound by invisible shackles, and he could only watch the tentacle ruthlessly invade his mouth. The tentacle was cold and wet, with a texture that did not belong to the human world. It mercilessly penetrated Da Hu's throat, stirring his internal organs and causing waves of intense pain.

Cui'er's face was twisted into crazy joy at this moment. She laughed loudly, and the laughter was like the cry of a night owl, piercing the silent air and echoing in everyone's ears. "How does it feel! How does it feel!" She screamed hysterically, and every word was like a sharp blade, cutting Dahu's nerves and the fear of the people around him.

The tentacles tossed wildly in Da Hu's mouth, and every twist was accompanied by his uncontrollable screams. Cui'er's smile became more and more ferocious, as if she was drawing endless pleasure from Da Hu's pain. That twisted happiness made her forget everything else, and her laughter became louder and louder, more and more crazy, until the whole world was drowned by her laughter.

At this moment, Cui'er was no longer a person, but a horrible nightmare. Her tentacles were like claws in the darkness, ruthlessly tearing at Da Hu's defenses and making him struggle in endless fear and pain.

Under the dim moonlight, a huge tentacle slowly pulled out from the tiger's bloody mouth, like a greedy snake, with suffocating fear. The tiger's body was like being hit by a heavy hammer, and fell heavily on the hard ground, stirring up a cloud of dust. He lay on the ground in pain, a low roar came from his throat, his open mouth was full of dirt and blood, and he kept vomiting, trying to drive out the terror that invaded his body. His eyes rolled back, his eyeballs almost rolled out of his eye sockets, and his hands tightly covered his throat, as if some invisible giant hand was tightening there.

Cui Er was walking steadily towards Da Hu. Her steps were firm and cold, and every step seemed to be stepping on Da Hu's heart, making his breathing more difficult. Her words were particularly harsh in the quiet night, and every word was like a sharp knife, piercing deep into Da Hu's soul, "Don't think that your little tricks can be hidden from me, Da Hu. You have been using your eyes and gestures to convey messages to those two people, right? Do you want to escape? But you forgot that this place, this land, is your home, where you have a wife and children. Where can you escape to?"

The air around him seemed frozen, with only Da Hu's panting and Cui'er's cold questioning echoing in the air. In the darkness, the tentacle that had been pulled out of Da Hu's mouth seemed to be still stirring, adding a bit of weirdness to the atmosphere. Fear, doubt, and despair intertwined in Da Hu's heart. He knew that no matter what, he could not escape this familiar land, nor could he escape Cui'er's sharp eyes and ruthless questioning.

Da Hu's face was covered with snot and tears, like a sad painting. His eyes were wet, but he forced himself to look up at Cui'er. Cui'er stood in front of him. Her face looked extremely pale under the dim light, but the smile on her lips was chilling. That smile was like a ghost under the moonlight, cold and weird.

"It's just your illusion, wife," Dahu's voice was trembling, as if it came from the cold abyss, and every word was filled with despair. He tried to break the terrifying atmosphere with this sentence, but his eyes betrayed him, revealing deep fear.

Cui Er shook her head gently, the movement was elegant and decisive, like a sign before a cat playing with a mouse. "You underestimate women's intuition," she said in a terrifyingly calm voice, each word like a cold blade cutting through the air, "our sixth sense is sharp enough to penetrate the disguise of lies."

She looked directly at Da Hu, her deep eyes seemed to be able to see through his soul. "If," Cui Er paused, her deliberately elongated tone suffocating people, "if you dare to do this again next time, I will let you experience what real fear is." The power contained in her words made the air freeze instantly.

"I will put my tentacles," Cui'er's smile widened, but became more sinister, "directly into your stomach, and let you feel what true 'pleasure' is in endless pain!" Her voice echoed in the empty room, and every sound was like a heavy hammer, hitting Dahu's heart.

Da Hu's body trembled even more violently. He could not refute and could only let the fear entangle his heart like a poisonous snake. He knew that Cui Er was not joking. Her words were full of determination and coldness. That night, his world was shrouded by Cui Er's weird smile and terrifying threats. Everything became blurred, leaving only endless horror.
