Hogwarts: The Savior's Strong Cousin
Chapter 381 The Whole Truth
"Harry, are you okay?" Hermione asked concernedly.
Harry managed a forced smile, "I'm just a little tired. Are we really over this?"
Ron patted him on the shoulder. "We've done a great job, Harry. You have to believe that we will find a solution."
Harry nodded, though his doubts still lingered in his heart. Suddenly, Dumbledore's owl flew into the common room with an urgent letter.
Harry opened the envelope and read the contents of the letter: "Harry, please come to my office immediately. There is something important to discuss." It was signed by Dumbledore.
The three of them set off immediately, their hearts filled with doubt and uneasiness. When they arrived at Dumbledore's office, the headmaster's expression was more serious than before.
"Harry, I have something important to give you," Dumbledore said, "This is an ancient and powerful Hallow. It was once considered priceless by Voldemort. I hope you can make good use of it."
Harry's heart beat faster, he knew Dumbledore would never easily give such a secret weapon to others. Dumbledore took out an old wooden box from behind his desk and opened it gently. Inside was an amulet emitting a light blue light.
"This is the Amulet of Light," Dumbledore explained, "It enhances the magical powers of the wearer and protects you from the Dark Arts. But its power is also double-edged. Use it with extreme caution."
Harry carefully took the amulet and felt the warmth and power it radiated. He felt a surge of power from the amulet into his body, and it seemed that all his tiredness and uneasiness disappeared in an instant.
"Thank you, Professor," Harry said solemnly, "I will treasure this Hallow."
After coming out of Dumbledore's office, Harry felt that the responsibility on his shoulders was heavier. He knew that this amulet was not only a symbol of power, but also a manifestation of trust in him.
In the following days, Harry, Hermione and Ron continued their investigation. Using the power of the amulet, they solved one mystery after another and gradually uncovered the true intentions of the dark forces.
One night, Harry had another strange dream. He dreamed that he was standing in a desolate land, surrounded by endless darkness. In the darkness, a deep voice echoed in his ears: "You will never escape our pursuit, Harry Potter."
Harry woke up suddenly, sweating. He knew that this dream was not just a dream, but a warning from the dark forces. He took a deep breath and decided not to retreat, but to face the challenge.
Over the next few weeks, Harry and his friends discovered some important clues. They found some ancient scrolls that detailed the origins of the dark forces and their ultimate goals. Hermione flipped through the scrolls with excitement in her eyes.
"Harry, I found it!" she said excitedly, "These scrolls say that the power of the dark forces comes from a lost black magic stone. If we can find and destroy it, perhaps we can end this crisis once and for all."
Harry nodded, feeling hope rising again. "We must find the Stone," he said, "whatever the cost."
They decided to head deep into the forbidden forest, where it was said that many ancient secrets and dangers were hidden. While walking through the dense forest, Harry constantly felt the power and comfort brought by the amulet, which made him more determined in facing the fear of the unknown.
They finally arrived at an ancient ruin, filled with a suffocating dark atmosphere. Harry felt the amulet begin to heat up, as if reminding him of the danger here.
"We have to be careful," Hermione whispered, "everything here is fraught with danger."
They searched slowly and carefully in the ruins, and finally found a huge black stone in a hidden corner. The surface of the stone was covered with complex runes, emitting an evil power.
"That's the Dark Stone we're looking for," Ron whispered, his voice full of awe and fear.
Harry took a deep breath, raised his wand, and prepared to cast a spell to destroy the stone. However, at this moment, a gust of wind blew up, and a dark figure emerged from the shadows.
"You think you can stop us like this?" The shadow sneered, "Your efforts are in vain."
Harry felt a strong sense of oppression, but he did not retreat. He raised the amulet, releasing a dazzling light, forcing the shadow back a few steps.
"We won't let you succeed," Harry said firmly.
The shadow roared angrily and pounced on Harry. They started a fierce battle. Harry used the power of the amulet to fight the shadow to death. Hermione and Ron protected him from the shadow's sneak attack.
At the most intense moment of the battle, Harry suddenly felt an unprecedented power surging from the amulet. He concentrated all his will and directed this power to the shadow, which let out a shrill scream and disappeared into the darkness.
Harry gasped for air, feeling the strength draining from his body. He looked toward the Dark Stone, realizing that this was their last chance. He raised his wand, focused all his magic, and cast a powerful spell.
A dazzling light flashed, and the Black Magic Stone was completely destroyed. As the stone shattered, the dark atmosphere in the ruins also dissipated, and the entire forbidden forest seemed to have regained its vitality.
Harry, Hermione and Ron stood in the ruins, feeling an unprecedented sense of relief and ease. They knew that this victory was not only theirs, but also the victory of the entire Hogwarts.
After destroying the Dark Stone, Harry, Hermione and Ron returned to Hogwarts, and everyone was happy about their victory. However, Harry was full of doubts and uneasiness. Whenever he was alone, he would think over and over what he had experienced, and he felt more and more that things were not so simple.
One night, Harry was flipping through a book about ancient magic in the library, trying to find more clues about the Black Philosopher's Stone. Suddenly, a familiar voice interrupted his thoughts.
"Harry, why do you look so worried?" Hermione asked softly.
Harry looked up and saw Hermione and Ron standing in front of him. He hesitated for a moment, then decided to speak out his doubts. "I don't know how to put it," he whispered, "but I always feel that Dumbledore is not telling us the whole truth."
