Mo Chen and Li Xin were waiting for the elevator when they ran into Yi Ming.

"What a coincidence! I heard Yilin was hospitalized. How is she?" Li Xin asked, looking at Yiming.

"I'm much better these past few days." Yi Ming looked at Mo Chen. "Yilin said it's all thanks to your wife... Thank you."

Although Mo Chen didn't know what Rong Yue had done, he still smiled and said, "Thanks to you, otherwise Yi Lin wouldn't have known Rong Yue."

Yi Ming smiled knowingly.

"I heard that Yilin and Haotianqi had a huge fight a while ago, but they're fine now? Could Yilin have gotten sick because of him?" Li Xin looked at Yiming.

As they were talking, the elevator stopped on the first floor, and two middle-aged women got on.

Rongyue leaned against Yilin, in a semi-conscious state due to the pain, with blood mixed with amniotic fluid flowing all over the floor.

“…Help…me…” A nurse with one arm and one leg broken was leaning over the elevator door, reaching out for help. But she was covered in blood, and the bloody scene inside the elevator made everyone afraid to approach her.

Mo Chen embraced Rong Yue.

At the same time, Yiming hugged Yilin.

"Rongyue!" Mo Chen patted Rongyue's face, but Rongyue did not react at all.

Doctors and nurses surrounded Rongyue. Some cleaned the blood off her body and changed all her soiled clothes, while others examined her and the baby in her womb.

Mo Chen held Rong Yue's hand tightly, feeling the temperature of her palm slowly warming up from its initial coolness.

Mo Chen nodded.

"The mother is awake!" the nurse called out to the doctor after looking at Rongyue.

"You're fully dilated! The baby's heartbeat is okay, you can start delivery!" the midwife announced.

The doctor went to Rongyue's side and took her temperature, frowning, "Her temperature is still so high..."

Mo Chen gripped Rong Yue's hand tighter and looked at the doctor, "She said it hurts, is there any way to relieve it?"

"You're already fully dilated, so an epidural isn't an option," the doctor calmly told Mo Chen.

"Are you awake? Can you feel the contractions?" The doctor patted Rongyue.

Rongyue nodded.

"Your body temperature is rising. If your temperature gets too high, it will affect the baby in your belly if it goes on for too long. If the baby's heart rate is too fast, you will need a C-section. Can you try to deliver naturally now as the contractions start?"

Rongyue nodded.

"Okay! When the contractions come, push. You've given birth before, so you know how to push, right?"

Rongyue nodded.

Everyone waited for the instrument to give them a prompt.

Mo Chen watched as Rong Yue's expression grew increasingly painful. He couldn't bear to watch any longer and wanted the doctor to start the surgery immediately. Just then, he felt Rong Yue suddenly tighten her grip on his hand.

"Push! Use all your strength!" the nurse said.

Rongyue tried using long force.

The nurse pushed down on Rongyue's belly to help her give birth.
