Became good friends with the Boy Who Lived
Chapter 28 Flying Lessons
Time passed quickly, and soon the little Gryffindors would be preparing for their first flying lesson.
Gryffindor and Slytherin had to take this flying class together, and Harry and Draco, two enemies, were like the positive and negative poles of a magnet. Whenever they met, they would always ridicule and quarrel with each other. This gave Aires, who didn't dislike Draco that much, a headache.
When talking about flying, we have to mention Quidditch, a ball game played in the air by riding on a broomstick in the wizarding world. Most people in the wizarding world love this sport so much that even these little wizards have been influenced.
Ron, for example, boasted that he had spent more than half of the past decade floating in the air on a broomstick; he even tried to chase a jet on it.
Aeris just said quietly: "If you can really fly to that height, and you don't fall off your broom due to suffocation, your life is really not ordinary."
Seeing Ron's ears begin to turn red, Aeris stopped complaining about him.
And then there is Draco, the arrogant boy who always brags about how well he can fly on his broom. Every story ends with him narrowly avoiding a helicopter.
It was the morning before the flight class. The students who were enjoying breakfast were startled by the flapping wings of the couriers. For a moment, everyone was opening letters and packages.
Eric also flew over, took some of Aris's bacon and ham, and then flew away. Aris could only shake his head helplessly.
An owl landed in front of Neville. Neville took a small package and the owl flew away impatiently.
Aeris and the others looked over curiously. Neville took out a transparent crystal ball from the package, which was several times larger than a baby's fist.
Hermione began to show off her knowledge again: "This is a memory ball. It can remind you that you have forgotten something. As long as the mist inside it turns red... it means you have forgotten something..."
Before Hermione finished her words, the mist in the ball had turned red. Neville asked in confusion: "But I can't remember what I forgot..."
Before he could finish his words, an arm reached out and snatched the ball away. Draco played with the memory ball and said jokingly, "Did you forget to bring your brain, Longbottom?"
Harry and Ron jumped up and were about to argue with Draco, but Edwards said quietly, "Brother, bullying your classmates only makes people think that you have poor education. If you really respect your father, don't always bring discredit to him." Edwards noticed that Draco's usually pale face was a little red, and he glared at Edwards fiercely.
"What are you doing here at breakfast time?" Professor McGonagall's serious voice sounded. Draco quickly returned the memory ball to Neville, muttered softly, "Just wait and see!" Then he left quickly with Crabbe and Goyle.
The weather was very good this morning, with almost no wind. It was a great day for practicing flying. When the Gryffindors arrived at the huge open lawn for learning flying, the Slytherins were already waiting there.
Mrs. Hooch, the professor of flying classes, walked over quickly. She had short, neat yellow hair and a pair of yellow eyes, and her gaze was as sharp as an eagle's.
There are now dozens of brooms neatly arranged on the grounds. These are the standard Hogwarts brooms. They are a bit old, with sparse branches sticking out.
"Good morning, students!" said Madam Hooch.
The young wizards answered in unison: "Good morning, Madam Hooch!"
"What are you all waiting for?" Madam Hooch shouted. "Everyone stand by a broom and yell: Come on up!"
There were continuous "come up" sounds. Harry's broom "jumped" into his hand. Hermione's broom kept rolling on the ground. Ron's broom hit his forehead with a "bang". Harry laughed. Archer said faintly, "It seems that your forehead needs to be harder to catch up with the jet."
Ron seemed a little exasperated: "Shut up, both of you!"
Aries did not shout "Come up". He hooked his toes upwards and grabbed the broom when it was suspended in the air. Madam Hooch walked over quickly and gave Aries a slap on the face. She shouted at Aries, "Mr. Grindelwald, this joke is not funny."
Aeris rubbed his ears, put down his broom, cleared his throat, and shouted solemnly: "Come up!"
The broom "jumped" up and was caught by Aries. Madam Hooch nodded with satisfaction and walked away to check on the progress of other students.
