HP: White Lord of Slytherin

Chapter 61 Draco's Warning

Draco was very happy to receive the chocolates made by Gloria. He put them in his pocket as if they were treasures, and the smile on his face never disappeared throughout the day.

A few days later, Gloria discovered that Harry's soul was still normal and he did not show the same weak behavior as Ginny. She was reluctant to say anything about the strangeness of the diary.

One day, on the way back from the library, I happened to meet Hagrid, who was carrying a dead chicken.

"Oh Hagrid, what's going on?" Gloria took the initiative to greet him.

"Gloria." Hagrid was very nice to Harry's friends and didn't get upset with her because she was a Slytherin. "Another chicken died. The chickens in the coop have been attacked since Halloween last year."

Gloria blinked twice. It was Halloween. It must be because of Bagillisk. He hated the sound of chickens crowing.

"Really? Where are you going now?"

Hagrid shook the dead chicken in his hand. "I asked Headmaster Dumbledore to add protective magic to the chicken coop. Now it seems that we need to add another layer."

Gloria could only nod silently. She was sure in her heart that the chicken was not killed by Bagilisk. With his size, he could crush the entire chicken coop. There was no need to leave the chicken's body intact.

"Oh, I haven't seen you ask in person before. Did you really release a poisonous snake before Christmas?" Hagrid gestured with the dead chicken. "They say that the snake was so long--"

It had been such a long time, but Hagrid still remembered it.

"Yes." Gloria lied without changing her expression, "Maybe for some special reason, magical animals and I are very close."

In fact, as long as she has some magic gems in her pocket, any magical animal will be friendly to her.

Hagrid's black beetle-like eyes sparkled with envy, "This is amazing. I have always hoped that I could have this ability. But I also have the patience to get along with them slowly."

Gloria knew that he loved all kinds of monsters. "I only admire you for a special reason. I know that in the first grade, the three-headed dog you raised protected the Philosopher's Stone very well, and our dean suffered."

She couldn't teach others how to be friendly with magical creatures, only people like Hagrid and Newt could.

"Fluvia is actually very well behaved..." The tall Hagrid smiled like a child, "You are the friendliest Slytherin I have ever met. Harry and the others are right. You are different."

Gloria accepted it with a smile. Rather than being friendly, it would be more accurate to say that she was only friendly to wizards.

"Hagrid?"

Harry's voice sounded from behind, and beside him stood Hermione and Ron as always.

"Hi, everyone." Gloria waved to them.

But the trio, who usually greeted Hagrid enthusiastically, now looked a little awkward.

Hermione said, "You're here too, Gloria."

"I'm about to leave." Gloria said, "You guys chat slowly."

But I dare not stay too long. If Draco suddenly appears from nowhere, I will have the headache of watching them fight each other.

But I haven’t seen him since lunch. Where did he go?

the other side--

In the bathroom on the third floor of Hogwarts Castle, Crabbe and Goyle were holding a boy's shoulders on each side. Draco was holding the greeting card he had snatched from the dwarfs a few days ago and comparing it with the parchment he had found in the boy's schoolbag. The handwriting was the same.

"Humph--"

The young man sneered and looked up at the boy, a third-year Slytherin student, of pure-blood origin, but his family's strength was average.

"Do you know why I'm looking for you?"

He asked even though he knew the answer. What could this boy not understand when he saw the greeting card?

"Yes... because of the greeting card."

On Valentine's Day, the news that Gloria received a greeting card spread everywhere. The boys also knew how ugly Malfoy's face was at that time, but they didn't expect that the other party could really find him.

“The Rhodes family, with such a weak origin, dares to write a greeting card to Lori!”

Draco's tone was fierce. Even though Rhodes was a year older than him, he didn't dare to refute a word. The surname Malfoy could instantly crush his family, so he could only remain silent.

The boy's gray-blue eyes carried a strong warning, "If I find out that you still dare to covet Lori, believe me, I will definitely make you pay!"

Rhodes nodded hurriedly. In fact, he had just acted on impulse on Valentine's Day and regretted it after sending it, but the dwarfs did not give him a chance to regret.

Draco poured out everything in his bag, crushed everything that could be crushed, and finally tore up the greeting card, straightened his collar, restored his usual noble appearance, and walked out of the bathroom.

Crabbe and Goyle let go, bumping into him as they passed.

Master Platinum returned to the common room and saw Gloria sitting on the sofa.

"Where have you been? Come here!"

The boy smiled gently, "Just dealing with some troubles, here I come——"

·

There has been no unusual situation with Harry, and Gloria wondered if the diary had been dealt with. After all, Ginny was able to get rid of it.

Everything was normal at Hogwarts Castle, and no petrification incidents occurred again.

In the greenhouse, each student was given a bucket of jumping agarics. The grayish-white mushrooms jumped back and forth, as if they wanted to jump out of the bucket.

Since Professor Snape had to go to St. Mungo's today, Hufflepuff simply attended the Herbology class early and mixed in with them.

Professor Sprout waved his hand. "Today we will learn how to place jumping toadstools on a pile of pebbles. This requires some skills. You must be gentle when moving them. Don't let them run away. It will be troublesome to catch them."

Draco was a little disgusted and moved the bucket away, fearing that the mushrooms would jump onto his face.

Gloria looked for a few seconds and then looked away, ready to see how Professor Sprout operated. Then she saw Ernie MacMillan reaching out to Harry and asking him to help hand him a bucket of jumping toadstools.

She remembered clearly how Ernie pointed at Harry with a pale face and said that if he was caught on the spot, everything would be fine?

"Looking at Scarhead again?" a somewhat annoyed voice said to her.

Gloria looked back and saw Draco frowning. She pointed over there and said, "Look, that Hufflepuff and Harry got back together. How long has it been?"

"That's not surprising." The boy said with a mocking tone: "A bunch of Hufflepuffs who have never learned their lesson. They were convinced that Potter was the heir of Slytherin."

Gloria was used to his sharp tongue. Professor Sprout gently grabbed a toadstool and kneaded the stem. "You have to turn it very gently. The toadstool will feel dizzy. Take this opportunity to put it in the dug pit and place three pebbles in the middle of its stem. This way it won't jump."

Seeing those jumping toadstools, Gloria didn't know how to start.

A group of Gryffindor students across the street were laughing at something, and suddenly there was an explosion. Seamus Finnigan kept holding his wand, and the bucket in his hand was blown over, and the mushrooms fell to the ground. Everyone realized how amazing their bouncing ability was.

The jumping mushrooms hit the ceiling of the greenhouse one by one, and the impacted mushrooms exploded with something like gray dust.

Professor Sprout sighed, "Some are busy now. Hurry up and pick up the water bottles next to you and spray. The mushrooms have released spores. It will be uncomfortable if you inhale them. Water can stick to these spores and make them fall to the ground."

Everyone quickly picked up the kettle to spray. Gloria sprayed water mist into the sky, and when she turned around, she accidentally affected Draco.

The young man touched the side of his face, said nothing, raised his hand and pointed the kettle at her.

Influenced by their playful atmosphere, other students also began to "attack" each other, and the herbal medicine class turned into a play time.

Professor Sprout stood with his hands on his hips and shook his head helplessly.
