HP: White Lord of Slytherin

Chapter 34: Head-on Clash with a Strong Enemy

At the Pure-Blood Club's event location, Pansy stood beside Draco and talked nonstop, while Crabbe and Goyle were concentrating on eating the desserts prepared by the members and didn't care about the content of the conversation at all.

"Draco, you haven't had a good chat with us for a long time. Fortunately, the seniors made an exception and allowed us all to join. Zabini and the others will be here soon."

Pansy knew that Zabini and Daphne also disliked Albert. Not only did he monopolize Draco, but he also looked down on them.

In response to Pansy's complaint, Draco said calmly: "I'm very busy, and I see her every day."

"Aren't you busy with that Albert?" Pansy said with a complaining tone, "We are friends who have known each other since childhood."

When Gloria was mentioned, the boy lost patience to listen to her nagging, "Lori and you had a conflict. You still had Zabini and the others with you, but she only had me."

Lori...

Draco had never called her by her nickname intimately, even though he knew that if he continued like this, Draco would only drift further and further away from them.

Pansy was so angry that she kept silent. If she continued talking, they would start quarreling. There were other people from pure-blood families here, and they treated Draco the best.

Zabini and Daphne came to the club with sullen faces. Theodore came in and sat down in a corner as usual, while the other people from the small pure-blood families quietly walked aside.

The sour expression was too obvious. When Draco saw people, he asked, "What's wrong with you? Did you meet people from other colleges again?"

"No," Zabini said, "I just had a few words with the proud Miss Alber."

They had never been belittled like this in their life, as if they were worthless, which made Albert disdain to pay any attention to them.

Draco naturally heard something was wrong, "Are you causing trouble for Lori?"

Daphne was almost so angry that she laughed, but she really didn't want to talk after her secrets were exposed. Before coming, Zabini had warned the people from other small families not to talk nonsense, and Theodore was always silent and didn't say much.

"She was the one who belittled us severely." Zabini said almost through gritting his teeth.

"You were the one who provoked me first." Draco had some understanding of Gloria's personality. He would never initiate a conversation with someone he didn't agree with. He was very familiar with the arrogance that came from the family's strength, because he was also such a person.

Zabini and the others were not recognized. Gloria saw that they just nodded at most, just for his sake.

It was indeed they who provoked first, but seeing Draco being so sympathetic to Gloria, the thought of breaking up the friendship flashed through his mind, but he couldn't do that because of the Malfoy family's reputation.

A group of people who had a good relationship in the first grade now looked at each other in silence.

Master Platinum was worried that Gloria had been bullied, so he was not as talkative as before in the club.

In the end, he left early without even calling Crabbe and Goyle.

The match ended quickly, and Harry and the others hurried to the bathroom to check on the potion, but they didn't want to meet Malfoy head-on.

Both sides stopped and Draco sneered first, "This is not the famous Potter." As long as Potter was present, he ignored the other two.

"Malfoy." Harry stood in front of Hermione and Ron.

"How do you feel about losing the game? Why didn't you go to watch the games of other colleges?" Draco didn't know that the game was over.

"The game is over!" Ron said directly.

Draco crossed his arms and snorted, "Oh? It's a pity that I retired with honor, otherwise I would have beaten you until you retired in disgrace!"

"You don't have that ability! You were just lucky last time!" Hermione couldn't bear to see Harry being ridiculed like this. The more she looked at Malfoy, the uglier he seemed to her. It was a pity that Gloria said he was handsome. It was simply...

"Go away Malfoy—" Harry was in no mood to argue.

Draco looked at Hermione coldly, "The monster in the Chamber of Secrets left by Salazar is eyeing clay figures like you. You will definitely be the next one!"

Ron pulled out his wand and said, "You filthy bug--!" He was about to cast a spell in excitement.

Harry and Hermione stopped him immediately, in the corridor in public.

But Draco was not stopped, and pointed his wand directly at Ron, "Rooting sprouting -"

A faint white light hit Ron's face, and then his nose grew longer and longer like a sprouting branch, and even grew leaves.

"Ah!" Hermione screamed, turning around to pull out her wand, "Faint!"

Malfoy raised his armour to block the spell, and another rooting spell hit Hermione. The brown-haired girl's nose sprouted like Ron's. She was at an age where she loved beauty, so she covered her nose with tears in her eyes.

Harry was so angry that his mind went blank. "Petrified!"

Draco, who was busy feeling proud, was hit without noticing. The petrification spell with strong emotions sent him flying for a distance. The vivid expression of fear on his face froze along with his body.

Draco, petrified by the spell, slid backwards until he came to a thin man, who was Filch.

"I knew it was you!" Filch stared at Harry angrily, then turned around and shouted, "Harry Potter petrified another student! Murderer!"

These shouts attracted Professor Snape and Professor McGonagall who were on patrol. Professor McGonagall thought that a student had really been petrified, so she quickly notified Headmaster Dumbledore to come over.

Filch puffed out his chest, as if he was sure that he had caught the Chamber of Secrets murderer.

The two professors saw Draco lying on the ground and walked over quickly to check.

Ron saw the gloomy Professor Snape and the serious Professor McGonagall, "We are finished--"

Hermione was sad about the effect of the spell on her nose, and she lowered her head and sobbed quietly. Harry stood in front of them and said to the two professors: "Malfoy used a spell on Ron and Hermione, and I just used Total Petrification on him."

Professor Snape's dark eyes swept over the three of them, and he waved his wand at Draco, removing the spell.

Just then, Headmaster Dumbledore showed up. Draco stood up with an angry look on his face and tried to rush to Harry and the others, but was grabbed by Professor Snape by the collar.

"They cast a spell on me first!" Draco pointed at the three people opposite.

Headmaster Dumbledore looked at the three of them, then glanced at Malfoy, "What happened? No spells are allowed in the corridors. You should all know this rule."

Ron stood in the front and pointed at his nose, "This is Malfoy's doing. Hermione was also cursed because of this Harry cursed him!"

"Weasley pointed his wand at me first, and I just fought back. Granger cast a spell on me and I blocked it, so I just fought back." His angry eyes fell on Harry.

Ron shouted angrily, "You lied. You said the next person the monster in the Chamber of Secrets would target was Hermione!"

They all looked at Draco, the boy was a little flustered, he only said it in anger.

"Do you know about the Monster of the Chamber of Secrets?" Dumbledore's blue eyes stared at the boy, and Draco felt like he was almost seen through.

"I don't know..." The boy lowered his head.

"It's just a dispute between students." Professor Snape said in a deep voice: "Three Gryffindor students against one Slytherin student. It was Mr. Weasley who started it first. Since Malfoy cast a curse, I will put him in detention for a week."

Professor McGonagall also understood that this was a farce among students. "You three will also be detained for a week."

No mention of deducting points was made this time, after all, what Malfoy said to Hermione was too much.

Headmaster Dumbledore lost his usual kindness at this time, and said seriously: "I hope Mr. Malfoy will not scare students with the Monster of the Chamber of Secrets anymore. I also hope that you all remember not to use spells in the corridor, let alone cast spells on your classmates."

The four people agreed honestly.
