HP: White Lord of Slytherin

Chapter 27 Dobby's Reminder

Draco couldn't fall asleep. He was reading the travel notes given by Gloria, but soon he heard the voices of Headmaster Dumbledore and Professor McGonagall, telling Madam Pomfrey that a student had been petrified.

Hearing this, he immediately became nervous, afraid that they would say Gloria's name.

Finally, Gloria discovered the petrified students and breathed a sigh of relief.

Soon, Headmaster Dumbledore sent Gloria away, and Professor McGonagall stayed. At around 9:30, all the professors came to the medical wing and decided to make a patrol list for the weekend.

It was almost ten o'clock when all the professors left. Madam Pomfrey dragged some things and whispered something, but he didn't hear it clearly.

At eleven o'clock in the evening, after making sure there was no sound, Draco carefully opened the bed curtains.

He first went to Harry's bed, but he was sleeping so soundly that he couldn't be woken up. He was sweating all over. He let go of his hand in disgust and went to Colin's bed himself.

The bed was blocked by a circle of screens. He carefully crawled in and saw Colin, who was petrified, like a statue.

Draco took a step back in shock and bumped into the screen, but luckily the noise was not loud.

I returned to my bed, and kept thanking my luck that Gloria had only discovered it. But last time it was the cat that was petrified, and this time it was the students. Is Hogwarts really safe?

Then I remembered what the principal said about asking professors to patrol. It should be... safe, right?

Draco gradually fell asleep with his mind wandering.

At some point in the early morning, Harry woke up, his arm still aching, but the house-elf named Dobby who had harassed and framed him that summer appeared.

From what Dobby said, they knew that the Bludger was his doing. It was a pity that they had always suspected Slytherin of using dirty tricks.

The elf seemed to have been severely tortured, with several fingers injured and large burns on his ears and chest.

"Dobby hurt Mr. Harry Potter, and - and... Dobby can't tell!" he screamed in a low voice.

Harry was afraid that Draco would be woken up, so he asked him to speak softly, "You keep asking me to go home, why, do you know something?"

Dobby kept shaking his head. "Dobby can't say that. Harry Potter must go home. Something terrible is happening in Hogwarts. History will repeat itself..."

Harry grabbed his pillow and covered his clothes excitedly, "History repeats itself? You mean the Chamber of Secrets has been opened before! You must know something, tell me Dobby."

Dobby's ears twitched twice, "Dobby must go, ... wake up, Harry Potter must leave Hogwarts."

With a snap of his fingers, Dobby disappeared.

The curtains of Draco's bed were drawn open. "Scarhead?" He had just been woken up. Harry was still grabbing Dobby. Draco frowned. "What are you doing?"

Harry immediately withdrew his hand, "It's nothing, it just hurts so much that I need to distract myself."

Draco looked at him like he was a freak, but that wasn't the point. "Something's wrong."

Then Harry saw Colin who was petrified, "What happened?" He took the potion and fell asleep only now, so he had no idea what was going on.

Draco briefly explained the situation. "Fortunately, Rory is fine. You don't have any spell that brings bad luck to people. Nothing good has ever happened around you."

"Lori?" It was the first time Harry heard the name.

The pride in Draco's eyes almost overflowed, "Gloria's nickname, only I can call her!" He glared at Harry with a warning look.

"I see... Headmaster Dumbledore only said that the Chamber of Secrets has been opened. Didn't he say anything else?"

Draco gave him a weird look, "Why should I tell you, Scarhead!"

After saying that, he returned to his bed and wanted to continue reading the travel notes, but found that it was already past two in the morning and he could not open it until six in the morning.

Harry hesitated for a while and decided to wait for Hermione's plan to succeed, and then ask Malfoy to be safe.

In the morning, Draco and Harry were both declared recovered by Madam Pomfrey, who allowed them to have breakfast and leave.

But Gloria came faster, carrying two boxes, both of which were meals prepared early in the morning.

"Lori!" Draco ran to her quickly, carefully observing her and letting her go after finding that she was not injured. "Are you okay last night?"

Gloria knew he had heard it, "It's okay, I just found Creevey, Harry are you okay."

Harry nodded stiffly, his eyes occasionally glancing towards Colin's bed.

Gloria opened the box and found two different meals, each of which was what they liked to eat.

"Besides picking you up today, I have something else to tell you about."

The two boys looked at her.

"Headmaster Dumbledore said that he hopes you won't spread the news of Creevey being petrified before Monday. He hopes that the students can have a peaceful weekend, and he has already started arranging patrols. The professors didn't show up in the hall this morning, so they must be discussing this matter."

Draco felt sorry for it and planned to go back to the dormitory today, taking advantage of the fact that most people were there to celebrate and tell this story to attract more attention.

Harry had no objection, but he had to tell Hermione and Ron, and at most the three of them would keep it a secret for a day.

Gloria handed Harry a bunch of grapes, which made Draco dissatisfied. His eyes almost pierced Harry with resentment. "This is what Creevey prepared to bring you last night. I kept it for you today."

After hearing this explanation, Draco looked away.

Harry took the grapes with mixed feelings, knowing that Colin had been in danger on the road because he was trying to secretly see him. "Thank you."

After breakfast, the three of them separated not long after walking together. Harry insisted on knowing where Colin was petrified. After Gloria pointed it out to him, he left with Draco.

On the way, Draco held the travel journal in his arms. Gloria reminded him, "Don't mention Creevey when you get back. Even if you can mention it on Monday, don't say that the Chamber of Secrets has been opened, okay?"

Draco pursed his lips and said reluctantly: "I know, I won't tell you."

Anyway, we can't talk about it during the weekend. He will talk about it on Monday. Today he is still in the limelight of beating Porter, so it will be a good time to change it tomorrow.

"How much of the travelogue have you read?" Gloria saw how tightly he held the book and knew he liked it very much.

"Not much. I was thinking about the Gryffindor being petrified last night. But the travel notes are very interesting. I will spend more time reading them." He has memorized every spell he saw, intending to learn them all in the future. However, he is more concerned about what happened last night. He cannot tell anyone else about it, but it would be okay to ask Gloria. "Did you really not see anything last night? I heard the professors say there was a petrified student, and I thought it was you."

Gloria had just left the medical wing at that time, so she was the most likely person.

"No." Gloria shook her head without changing her expression. "I walked into the wrong corridor, and when I turned back, I saw Crivette. Afterwards, the principal personally sent me back to the dormitory."

"That's good. It must be the family heirloom you're wearing that's working." Draco said firmly.

"Maybe, so you should wear it carefully."

Draco snorted and laughed, "The monster in the Chamber of Secrets needs to eliminate the clay wizard. I am a pure-blood."

Gloria said slowly, "What if someone gets hurt by mistake?"

The boy said no more and made up his mind to wear his things properly.
