HP: White Lord of Slytherin

Chapter 24: Visit to the Hospital Wing

At the dinner in the auditorium, except for the Slytherin table, the tables of the other three houses were in a slump. Harry, who had been invincible since his first year, unexpectedly lost to Malfoy, his always hostile opponent.

Hard to understand!

"It must be Slytherin's doing. The Bludger only chased Harry, and the Golden Snitch actually stopped next to Malfoy's head."

The Gryffindor students behind him still couldn't accept the result of the game.

The boy who was two seats away from Gloria turned around abruptly. "You have already reported it. Madam Hooch checked it on the spot. There is no problem. If you lose, you lose."

The Gryffindor student slammed the table and was about to stand up and fight, but was stopped by the student next to him.

Gloria turned around and saw Hermione and Ron, who were also in a state of disbelief. She then looked at the other team members, all of whom had their heads lowered.

Captain Wood quickly finished the dinner on his plate and said to the Weasley twins and other team members, "Let's go back to the dormitory and continue to adjust the tactics. We will train tomorrow when Harry returns."

Wood had heard about Wood's enthusiasm for Quidditch. Gloria thought about Harry recovering from his injury at night and training tomorrow, and she couldn't help but feel fortunate that Draco didn't have such a captain.

There's no need to be happy, he has already retired from the team.

After eating, Gloria immediately rushed towards the medical wing. Not long after she walked, she heard the sound of two running feet approaching from behind.

"Gloria!" It was Hermione's voice.

The two of them stopped in front of her, panting. Ron said before he could catch his breath: "I'm sorry for making you angry last time. Can you forgive me?"

After they went back that day, they analyzed the era of more than a thousand years ago in detail. In their opinion, Salazar was still very bad, but he really wanted to fight for stability for wizards, so he established a school with the other three founders instead of waving wands to kill Muggles as a job.

"Harry has already told me that we are both right about this matter, but please don't scold Salazar anymore, at least in front of me."

Gloria is not one to dwell on one thing. Ron apologized, they reconciled, and they never mentioned Salazar again. That was a good result.

"That means you forgive us." Hermione said happily. She liked the knowledgeable Gloria very much and didn't want to fall out with her.

Gloria nodded, "Well, anything else? I need to go to the medical wing."

"Madam Pomfrey won't let you in. She said you can only visit tomorrow." Ron kindly explained the situation to her.

"I know, but Madam Pomfrey agreed to let me visit after dinner." Gloria pointed in the direction of the hospital wing, "I have to go. Do you have anything to bring to Harry?"

Hermione said quickly, "Yes, let him have a good rest, we will wait for him to come back."

Gloria looked at Ron. The red-haired boy hesitated for a moment and asked, "That's what I said, but did the Slytherin team really not cheat?"

"No." Gloria confirmed: "They have always said that Draco is not only capable, but also very lucky."

Ron was reluctant to see this result, but had to accept it, "Okay, then go ahead."

When Gloria arrived at the hospital wing, Madam Pomfrey saw that it was her and let her in, and told her not to make any noise, otherwise the visit would end immediately.

Fortunately, there were rules set by Madam Pomfrey, so Draco and Harry glared at each other and did not quarrel.

When she came in, they both looked over at the same time, and Gloria took out a box from behind her, "Who wants dessert?"

Coincidentally, their injured arms were on the left and right sides, and they were able to sit together quietly and eat dessert.

Draco just opened his mouth to speak, and Gloria said, "If you say even one word to each other now, Madam Pomfrey will send me out immediately to deal with you two."

This one sentence successfully stopped the argument between the two teenagers that was about to break out.

Draco struggled to hold back the words that were about to come out of his mouth, and whispered, "He got me hurt. He should have stayed away from me if he knew the Bludgers were only after him."

Harry couldn't refute loudly, his face flushed red, and he tried to lower his voice and said, "I don't know what happened. As long as we are on the court, there must be times when we are close."

Gloria raised her hand to stop the confrontation from escalating. "You are both right. Eat first."

The Slytherin elf was very skilled, and the perfect amount of sweetness successfully suppressed the anger in the two people's hearts.

Gloria observed their expressions. Draco frowned from time to time and adjusted the position of his injured arm, while Harry was much worse. A layer of cold sweat broke out on his face while eating dessert, but he tried his best to endure it.

It must be painful to have the bones of the entire arm grow back, and she couldn't give him painkillers to avoid affecting the efficacy of the Bone-Growing Spirit.

"I'll ask Madam Pomfrey to give you the right medicine and let you rest early, otherwise it will be too painful." Gloria spoke when she finished her dessert, and Harry nodded despite the severe pain.

Madam Pomfrey came in a few moments later, "You need to get some more sleep. If you wake up in the middle of the night and it still hurts, come find me."

Harry raised his head and drank the medicine handed to him. Gloria took two steps forward and said, "Hermione told Ron that she will wait for you to go back tomorrow and let you rest well."

Hearing the thoughts of his two friends, Harry smiled more, "I will, thank you Gloria."

"I'll go check on Draco again, get some sleep."

Madam Pomfrey reminded: "One hour at most, don't stay too long."

Harry's eyes soon became blurry after drinking the medicine, and he fell asleep as soon as Gloria finished talking to Madam Pomfrey.

Coming to Draco's bed, the boy pursed his lips tightly.

Gloria sat on the edge of the bed and took out a book from her bag. "This is the travelogue I used to read when I was a kid. It records magical and interesting things that happened many years ago. It was written by one of my ancestors. Do you want to read it?"

Draco's medicine only had to be taken once, unlike Harry's sleeping pills.

A thick book with an old cover caught the boy's attention. After hesitating for a moment, he hummed softly and took the travel journal. When he opened the first page, there were moving pictures and characters.

The first story: A long-haired girl ran away from the big house. Several little boys picked up stones and threw them at her. The stones stopped in front of the girl and flew back into the boys' faces. The picture clearly showed the boys' frightened expressions. The girl smiled evilly and made the boys sink headfirst into the pond.

The moving picture stops here and replays the scene that just happened.

"Are the boys dead?" Draco asked quickly.

Gloria reached out and stroked the girl in the sketch. "This is one of my ancestors. He ran away from the manor before he reached the age and had a conflict with the Muggle children. These boys are not dead. See page two."

Draco quickly turned the page, and sure enough, on the second page, beautiful cursive handwriting complained about not being able to kill those mudbloods. A mysterious being whose name or even gender was not mentioned stopped her and sent her back to the manor. She was tired of the manor. All the creatures in the forest and the lake were scared away by her. It was so boring.

This ancestor was a pure evil dark wizard, even though he was still a minor.

Let’s look at the next article, which is about the girl after she became an adult. It describes her experiences outside the manor. Her surname is never mentioned from beginning to end. It not only records what she did, but also what she saw of other wizards.

Gloria put her hand on the page, "Like it?"

Draco's eyes sparkled and he nodded excitedly, "I like it very much."

"You can read this if you can't sleep, but not too late. I cast a one-time spell. If it's not closed before 2 a.m., it will close automatically."

Draco looked regretful, "Okay, but are the spells in it real?"

Travel notes not only record interesting events, but also write down the spells used.

"Of course it's true." Gloria said, "And I've learned it all, but don't learn the dark arts in school. It will be troublesome if you are discovered."

Draco smiled proudly and said, "Then I'll write it down and study it when I go back for the holidays."

Gloria didn't object.
