HP: White Lord of Slytherin

Chapter 21 Confidence

The three saviors were stunned for a long time before they came to their senses. Ron had a sad face and said with lingering fear: "Gloria is more terrible than my mother when she gets angry."

Harry and Hermione had complicated expressions. They had never thought about what Gloria said. They just thought the pure-blood theory was ridiculous and eliminating Muggle-born wizards from the school was cruel.

Harry looked at his two friends, "Slytherin and Gryffindor were good friends?!"

This was definitely the scariest thing he had ever heard since he started school. He hoped it was fake!

"I'm more curious about what Obscurus is." Hermione recalled the books she had read and there didn't seem to be any such term.

Ron said, "I know. Obscurus... is a parasite derived from the repressed magic power of a young wizard. It is very powerful but unstable. It will attack people if it is separated from the host. Wizards who become Obscurus will not live to adulthood. Mom mentioned it when we were young, but there are no Obscurus now."

Hermione looked grim. If she had lived in Salazar's era, she would probably have become an Obscurus.

Harry also thought of himself. When his magic awakened, his aunt and uncle beat and scolded him many times because of this.

Seeing that they looked unhappy, Ron comforted them, "It's different now. The Muggle and wizard worlds are separated. Things like before won't happen again. The heir who opened the Chamber of Secrets is a pervert now."

The word pervert is now used to describe the person who opened the secret room.

Hermione sighed, "Gloria is very angry... I didn't expect her to approve of the founder Salazar so much."

That tone was completely about protecting the people you care about.

"I will no longer judge Salazar and will only scold the dark wizards of today," Ron added.

Harry felt even more complicated, because he was almost assigned to Slytherin, but he firmly refused and was assigned to Gryffindor. In addition, he helped Professor Lockhart write a reply letter last time, and heard a strange sound on the night of the Deathday party...

"Who is the heir of Slytherin..." Hermione thought. They had to find the heir and stop the monster in the Chamber of Secrets from hurting people.

Ron looked like he was asking, "Who first said that the Chamber of Secrets was built by Salazar? He hates Muggles and half-bloods."

Harry shouted back: "Malfoy -!"

Hermione hit Harry with a hammer for shouting so loudly, "Can he be the heir of Slytherin?"

Harry said seriously, "Their whole family is very evil and has been sorted into Slytherin for generations."

"Maybe he has the key to the Chamber of Secrets." Ron became more and more certain as he thought about it. "It must be him. Everyone knows what the Chamber of Secrets is when they look it up in the book, and they hate Muggle-born wizards."

In order to confirm the identity of Slytherin's heir, Hermione led Harry and Ron to develop a plan, even if it violated fifty school rules.

Gloria's anger slowly subsided on the way back to the dormitory. She returned to her room, closed the door, and sat on the blanket-covered floor in a depressed mood.

Jörmungandr slithered to her ear. "Don't mind those Glorias. Salazar's behavior is indeed crazy for today's children."

"I mainly don't like them scolding my ancestors."

Salazar was actually a very self-controlled and sober person. His portrait remained silent for many years, and Gloria rarely had the chance to talk to him. She respected this ancestor very much in her heart.

"It's normal for you to be angry. Salazar is a very talented wizard. He is in the top three in the Slytherin family ranking." Golinia said.

Apophis straightened up, "It's a pity that he didn't let us take over the school, but left Basil in the Chamber of Secrets. What a contradictory Slytherin."

Gloria lay on the edge of the bed. "Today I truly understand the cognitive gap between purebloods and Muggles. We have different views on the world... But I will still work hard for the new world. Wizards and Muggles are completely different."

Gloria's tongue brushed across her fair face. "We will accompany you, Gloria. You are the glory of the Slytherin family."

After being comforted, I felt much better, "When you get bigger, I want to hold you."

The three snakes swelled in size and surrounded her, with Golinia clinging to her and the other two in a guarding posture.

It was almost dinner time. Draco finished his training and returned to the dormitory in high spirits.

"We will definitely win tomorrow's game!"

"Someone said that the Gryffindor team's brooms were as slow as slugs."

Crabbe and Goyle openly laughed at their opponents on the way, and Draco had a look of contempt on his face, as if he saw victory in tomorrow's game.

In the common room, Gloria sat on his couch.

"Lori, have you finished your thesis?" Draco threw the broom to Crabbe beside him and sat on the sofa lazily.

Thesis? Gloria, who had just recovered from the anger she had received from Ron's words, said weakly, "Not yet. Go change your clothes."

Draco stood up, curled his lips and straightened his collar, "Wait for me, I will tell you about those idiots in Gryffindor later."

Gloria agreed in her heart that, yes, some of them were indeed stupid.

In the bright auditorium, most of the students sitting together were discussing tomorrow's game and guessing which house would win. Except for Slytherin, the other three houses all hoped that Gryffindor would defeat the group of arrogant silver snakes.

"Have you heard that some people think Potter is the heir of Slytherin because he was in the corridor that night." While sharing the latest gossip, Goyle stuffed big mouthfuls of food into his mouth, making his already fat face even more swollen.

The students, led by Draco, looked towards the Gryffindor table, but the inseparable trio were not there.

"The heir of Slytherin will never go to Gryffindor." Zabini slowly used his knife and fork to cut the fish fillet.

Draco sneered and said nothing. Gloria drank juice silently. The heir of Slytherin would certainly not be Harry. He would be sitting next to you.

"If it's not Draco, then who will be the heir?" Crabbe was still curious about this matter.

Zabini raised an eyebrow, "Maybe I'll know later." He looked around and asked Daphne, "Where's Pansy? Why don't I see her?"

Daphne didn't know where she went. She hadn't seen her the whole afternoon. "I didn't see her after class. I thought she went to the stadium to watch Draco practice."

As she said this, she looked at Gloria. At that time Pansy stopped her, and it was unclear what happened afterwards.

Gloria complained in her heart, that idiot looks arrogant, but is he actually so timid?

"She's here." Daphne pointed in the direction of the auditorium door, and sure enough, Pansy came in, but she looked very listless.

As usual, Daphne asked her to sit next to her and asked her in a low voice where she had been. Pansy didn't say anything, but just looked at Gloria silently. Daphne said a few nice words calmly.

Is Pansy's behavior related to Gloria?

"Are you in a bad mood today?" Draco noticed that she didn't smile when she came back from training.

Gloria crushed the grilled fish on the plate with a fork, "It's just a little trouble. And the Quidditch game looks dangerous. You must not get hurt."

"Don't worry. We'll see what Gryffindor will be proud of when we defeat Scarhead tomorrow."

Gloria handed him a glass of sweet and sour juice, "Draco, your safety is the most important."
