Operation Red Book

Chapter 80: Headless Horseman and Undead Horse 1

The head of the headless knight blew a loud slogan, which was similar to the sound waves of a sharp object scratching across a blackboard. It was very harsh and made people's ears hurt.

After the aftershock of the sound wave, Andrew looked up and around. Everything seemed normal and nothing had changed.

He smiled contemptuously and said to the servant who was holding down the body, "It's okay. Tie up his body and prepare a few jars of water for him. I will ask the priest to perform the exorcism ceremony at dawn tomorrow."

One or two of the servants on top stood up, and one ran to get a rope.

"Wait, don't move!" Edward bent over the ground and listened carefully. "There are the sounds of horse hooves coming this way."

"What? It can't be..."

An idea suddenly popped up in Joshua's mind. In order to confirm his guess, he endured the pain in his toes and climbed onto a large rock in the grass, squinting his eyes and looking into the distance.

The Headless Horseman has been wandering the world, taking off the heads of people he sees, accompanied by an undead horse with flaming eyes...

Joshua recalled this well-known Irish legend, and his heart was filled with alarm. However, the sound of horse hooves was right next to his ears, but there was no movement in the distance.

Joshua had no choice but to climb down the rock in a hurry, clenching the lightsaber in his hand, and keeping his ears perked up, ready to charge at any time.

Like Joshua, the people around him stood still and watched intently. They saw the fine sand and gravel on the ground being shaken, and the sound of horse hooves like drums became louder and louder, echoing around everyone.

The ground was shaking violently, and everyone was swaying from side to side.

"Damn, where is that horse? Why can't I see it?" Edward said angrily.

Holmes and Moriarty were also looking around, and like Joshua, they clenched their weapons in preparation for a sudden attack from the enemy.

"It seems, it seems to be underneath here!" exclaimed the servant who was pressing on the headless knight's body.

Before he could finish his words, the ground beneath the Headless Knight's body suddenly sank more than ten inches, and cracks quickly extended dozens of meters in all directions.

A ball of orange-red flame burst out of the ground, blowing away the headless knight's body and several servants who were suppressing him.

Dozens of kilograms of wet quilts were scattered everywhere, along with the servants'

They fell painfully from a height of several floors to the ground. Some of them held their legs, some held their arms, and without exception, they lay on the ground groaning in despair.

The headless knight rode steadily on the flames, and wrapped in the flames was a horse with only a white skeleton left.

Its eyes were blazing with orange-red flames, its front hooves were sweeping the broken gravel on the floor, and its nostrils were breathing out scalding hot air.

"Hahahahaha, good brother, come find me quickly!"

The head in the bushes let out a hoarse cry, and Mrs. Emerson was so scared that she jumped out of the bushes and fell beside Andrew.

"Mother! Mother! What should I do...Yes! Edward, you know that spell, seal him quickly!"

Andrew shouted to Edward as he helped Mrs. Emerson up.

"Yes, I remember, it's Clavier Sliberstans!"

"Klaviers Liebersteins!"

"Klaviers Liebersteins..."

Edward shouted at the Dullahan several times, but unfortunately nothing happened.

The two brothers could only watch as the headless knight rode his horse into the bushes. When he came out, the head was picked up again and held at his waist.

"Hahahaha, it's useless. Just knowing the spell is useless! Didn't that crazy woman tell you the price of casting the spell?!"

The headless knight laughed mercilessly as he rode his undead horse. His voice was hoarse, but it was clearly heard by everyone present.

He raised the bronze sword in his hand and sat heavily on the horse's back.

The undead horse raised its two front hooves, opened its mouth and roared towards the sky, spitting out orange-red flames like torches from its mouth, and then rushed towards Mrs. Emerson with all its strength.
