Operation Red Book

Chapter 79 Crisis at McMillan Manor 2

"Fuck-"

A burst of blue-purple lightning climbed up the headless knight's armor and soon covered his entire body, causing him to twitch for a while.

Orange-red flames and blue-purple electric light intertwined all over the headless knight's body. White smoke emerged in an instant, and the silver-white armor turned into charcoal black.

The headless knight turned around trembling. Joshua was holding a flashlight-like iron tube in both hands. A column of blue-purple light shot out from the top, and the whole body was glowing with electricity.

Joshua was trembling all over, his hands tightly gripping the lightsaber handle, and he was looking at the headless knight in front of him with gritted teeth.

"Your sword is really good. Once I take off your head, your sword will be mine."

The Dullahan spoke hoarsely, raising the sword in his hand.

Joshua's pupils constricted and his heart pounded. Because he had no systematic training, he didn't know where to attack next. After thinking it over, he could only bite the bullet and face the challenge.

He stood with his legs apart to steady his body, and swung the sword heavily again. The knight's sword cut off the lightning of the lightsaber, and the broken lightning of the lightsaber entangled with the knight's sword at the moment of contact, and the electric current spread throughout the headless knight's body.

The Headless Knight twitched again, but after experiencing it twice, he got used to the pain of electric current control. A hoarse laugh came out of his head, which hurt Joshua's ears.

The bronze sword suddenly changed direction and slashed straight at Joshua's neck. It was so fast that Joshua's curly hair was cut off by the sword before he could react.

"Dangdang!"

There was a sound of metal colliding, and a narrow and slender sword with a needle-like top pressed against the bronze sword of the Headless Knight.

Moriarty grabbed Joshua by the back of the collar and moved him out of the Dullahan's attack range at the critical moment.

He stretched out the sword hidden in his sleeve and used force to block the headless knight's sword.

"Your sword is quite good. It has managed to last this long without being burned by the flames. It will become my trophy."

The Headless Knight looked at the sword that was still as hard as iron, and his hoarse voice was filled with surprise.

"Thank you for the compliment. It's made of ore from the bottom of Iceland." Moriarty said coldly, his sword-holding hand turning pale and trembling slightly.

Moriarty added his other hand and exerted force with both hands to overturn the bronze sword.

He kicked forward with his left leg, reached out and thrust his sword into the gap in the Dullahan's armor.

“Hahahahaha!” the Dullahan laughed wildly, “My body has long been empty. I am a soul that crawled out from hell!”

"I know."

Moriarty raised the corner of his mouth, fiercely lifted up the armor with his sword, and spun the headless knight in a circle on the spot.

"What is this? Lock me up?"

Just as the Dullahan reacted, a copper bullet flew in the air and hit his hard armor with such force and power that it left a crater on the charcoal black armor.

Holmes had a cigarette in the corner of his mouth, his left hand in his pocket, and a pistol in his right hand, the muzzle of the gun pointed at the head of the Headless Knight in his left hand.

"Boom, boom, boom—"

Several bullets hit the head of the headless knight. The huge impact force knocked his head out of his hands and rolled in front of Joshua.

Joshua seized the opportunity, suppressed the discomfort in his heart, and kicked the charcoal head armor into the grass.

Watching the head disappear into the green grass, Joshua stood there in a daze. Then he quickly turned sideways and lay on the ground, hugging his right foot and crying silently.

"My toe, it seems, it seems to be broken." Joshua cried to Moriarty who came to check.

"Alas, don't children in the 21st century exercise?" Moriarty said helplessly with a smile and a frown.

Andrew and Edward led the crowd to hold down the headless knight's running body, and before holding it down, they did not forget to cover it with several layers of wet cotton cloth.

In the bushes, Mrs. Emerson sat down on the ground, trembling.

In front of her was a charcoal-black head in armor. In the dark night, she couldn't see the old face inside the armor; she could only see the glowing red eyeballs.

His eyes were fixed on Mrs. Emerson, and she could feel the deep hatred and pain emanating from his eyes.

"So you are here, you damn woman."

The head chuckled and spoke hoarsely to Mrs. Emerson.
