Ivy and the girl with long braids opened all the windows together.

Grace patted the little fat boy's back gently, and Ivy also spread the children on both sides apart to prevent them from stepping on the vomit.

"Sorry, kids, lunch time is over! Line up outside and Ms. Maggie will take you to rest!"

Grace let go of the fat boy who had stopped vomiting and spoke to everyone in the restaurant.

The children in the restaurant began to walk towards the door one after another. Ivy felt her right hand getting warm, as if it was being held by a small hand.

She turned her head and met the eager eyes of the little girl with long braids.

The braided girl squeezed Ivy's hand hard, then turned and walked out of the restaurant with the red-haired girl.

Ivy understood and took advantage of the chaos to walk to Dorian's side.

"I'm sorry, I can't go to the office with you later. There's a situation in the orphanage, and I have to talk to the children."

"I see. Then..."

"I'm with you too. I don't want to be in the same room with the devil unless it's the... prayer room."

Holmes crossed his arms, raised his eyebrows, and looked at Dorian proudly.

Dorian snorted coldly, and the two turned their heads away and ignored each other.

After the children left, Grace saluted Dorian and said with a dry laugh:

“I’m sorry for causing you discomfort. This is the first time Henry and Luke have eaten such a sumptuous meal. I hope you can forgive their disrespect.”

Dorian bowed slightly, put the bowler hat back on his head, and replied:

"In that case, why not discuss the relevant matters now? I remember my mother said that the dean put the contract in the office..."

"Yes, I'll take you there right away."

Grace squatted down slightly, and Dorian and Joshua followed Grace out of the restaurant.

The restaurant was empty, filled with a sickening stench.

Henry and Luke were taken away by Ms. Maggie for cleaning, while Ivy and Holmes waited for an opportunity and searched for the two little girls on the first floor of the orphanage.

There are many houses on the first floor. On the left side of the hall are the prayer room, bathroom, restaurant, and a locked wooden door.

On the right side of the hall are bedrooms, with about ten small beds in one room.

The bedroom was crowded and damp, and the children could only lie on hardwood boards, covered with a thin layer of cloth.

Ivy and Holmes searched room by room and opened three doors in a row but still couldn't find the two little girls. Instead, they all got little lights coming from the children who looked at them.

"There's not enough time. We also have to be on the lookout for Grace and that old lantern."

Holmes complained and reached for the cigarette in his pocket. He struck a match and found the small head at the end. He slowly tiptoed over.

Ivy apologized to the children in the room again, closed the door and sighed heavily.

Suddenly, she heard footsteps. Ivy's heart tightened and she became alert in a hurry.

In the corner of my eye, a dark figure picked up the child in the room, turned around and disappeared at the end of the corridor.

"Ah!" Ivy covered her mouth and screamed, then ran after him.

The black shadow ran very quickly holding the child, and soon squeezed into a room somewhere.

Ivy gritted her teeth and chased after him, aiming at the gap in the door that was about to close, and pushed the door open.

"Who are you! What are you doing!"

Ivy asked in a low voice. After seeing the figure inside clearly, she was stunned for a moment, turned around, closed the door, and locked it with a "click".
