Operation Red Book

Chapter 105 A Meeting Under the Moonlight 1

Ivy curled up on the ground, her head felt dizzy and swollen, and she couldn't lift it up at all, otherwise she would spit out a mouthful of acid.

Joshua brought a cup of hot tea, and Ivy drank it slowly while holding her stomach.

Holmes and Dorian stood on each side, holding their hands and looking at each other, without even glancing at Ivy and Joshua on the ground.

Holmes' eyes flashed with vigilance and anger. Dorian stared at him sideways, his eyes full of contempt and arrogance.

"Are you the devil? Pretending."

"Are you the famous detective? You're so ugly."

"Enough, enough, don't provoke him." Ivy hurriedly stopped Holmes' next wave of attacks. "Dorian can help us get into the orphanage."

"I know you're going to find him, but how are you going to find him? Jump off a building? Commit suicide? I want to know what you're thinking!"

Holmes yelled at Ivy first, with his hands on his hips and a look of annoyance on his face.

"It's really embarrassing that I have the same problem as him." Dorian said with an annoyed look on his face.

"Ahem, I, I actually don't know how to find him. I thought that if my life was in danger, he would definitely come to save me. After all, that's what the contract is..."

Ivy explained incoherently, turned to look at Dorian and Holmes's faces, and then quickly lowered her head.

There is no doubt that Holmes and Dorian looked very unhappy.

Ivy could see that their emotions were the same at this moment—a little bit unexpected, but more of helplessness and anger.

"Didn't I tell you that the devil is a cunning and sinister person? He will watch you die and then eat your soul happily!"

"But he did catch me. I really believed that he could catch me. Look, I'm not dead, I'm not dead, look!"

Ivy staggered around in front of the three men, and then fell to the ground weakly, which made Holmes feel even more upset and angry.

"I'm not going to save you. You should stay with that wild wolf. Let me make it clear that I will not attend your funeral. After all, he will eat all your bones!"

Holmes kicked the wooden door hard, and it shook and made a heavy sound.

He turned around and glared at Dorian, rolled his eyes at Ivy and walked away.

"What brings you to me?"

Dorian's cold voice rang out in the night sky, causing Ivy to shudder.

Ivy was about to speak when she saw Dorian's olive eyes pass over her and stare at Joshua standing behind her.

Joshua was a person who was used to not being noticed, and the sudden malice made him feel uneasy.

"I, I, I, I'll go down first. I'll come back if you have any questions."

Joshua glanced at Ivy cautiously, and at her signal, he hurried away.

The evening breeze brought the scent of roses again. The sweet fragrance of the flowers made Ivy feel much more relaxed. She lowered her voice and spoke to Dorian:

"I asked you to come with us to the Florence Welfare Home tomorrow. I need you to help us investigate that bad director."

"Don't go."

The answer was expected, but it didn't make Ivy lose her mind.

"Why don't you go? The contract says you have to help me!" Ivy asked directly.

"I have emphasized that I will help you get rid of danger if you are in danger."

"I believe you are a forgetful person. You forgot a word I said - 'feel'."

"Incomprehensible!"

Dorian growled, his pupils turned red. He didn't bother to argue with Ivy, so he jumped onto the railing, as if he was going to leave here immediately.

Ivy quickly flew over and hugged his calves, put her face against his boots, and looked up into those red pupils.

"Listen to my explanation! I'm going to die tomorrow. A purple-haired god of death said so, and I believe it anyway! You're going to eat my soul tomorrow, please, this is my last wish!"

Dorian kicked Ivy away and said with disgust: "Most of his words are unreliable. This time he is probably lying to you."

"No, no, no, Lord Dorian, please be kind and fulfill my last wish. If you go, it will be considered a good deed and a virtue..."

Ivy hugged his calf again, but this time she realized that the nonsense he was talking about was wrong, and the last word was so low that only she could hear it:

"Oh, you are the devil, not the Virgin Mary..."
